How could I not know these things as her father?" General Mu continued speaking, evidently unaware that he was stepping deeper into someone else's trap.
Upon hearing this, Mo Xiao Li stood up and walked in front of him. After pacing back and forth twice, he said, "In that case, as a Minister who knows the truth but fails to report it and helps the Empress cover up the truth to deceive me, shouldn't you be punished for treason?"
General Mu immediately realized he had misspoken. He looked up at him and hurriedly said, "Your Majesty, you must believe my words. General Mu was momentarily speechless, kneeling there, unsure of what to do.
