Mu Junqi gazed at the departing Consort Qian, lost in thought. For a moment, she did not understand the purpose of Consort Qian bringing up this matter, as she knew that Consort Qian was certainly not worried about her. The only possibility was that she wanted to watch the tigers fight from the mountain.

"Yes, I will go right away," he replied before hurrying off.
After a while, Zhang Deli rushed back in a panic and knelt on the ground, saying, "Your Majesty, something terrible has happened. I heard that Mur offended Consort Qian outside and was taken away by people from the Shenxing Division."
Her already tense heart now felt like it was in her throat. She looked at him and asked urgently, "Do you know what it was about? Don't you know that Mur is from this palace? Even if he were taken away, they should come to find this palace first?"
"Empress, please calm down. I don't know what it was about either; it must have just been a simple inquiry. He will be back shortly," Zhang Deli comforted her.
In this deep palace courtyard, Mur was the only person she could trust. How could she sit quietly waiting for him? So she said in a low voice, "Lead the way; I will go see who it is." After calling Ziyue to help her tidy up briefly, she followed Zhang Deli out of Jingxian Palace.
By now, night had fully fallen, and palace lanterns were lit throughout the palace. The passing maidens and eunuchs all looked at her respectfully. At this moment, Mu Junqi's mind was occupied with thoughts of Mur's safety and Xia Ziqian.
She never expected so many events would unfold today; her mind was in chaos as she pondered what was happening. Therefore, she did not notice that a shadow was closely following them not far behind.
Before long, they arrived at the Shenxing Division. The area outside the Shenxing Division was brightly lit, and there were sounds of chatter and a woman crying, which made Mu Junqi think it was Mur. Without much thought, she rushed inside.
However, once inside, she was stunned. She did not expect that the courtyard was filled with people, mostly palace maids and eunuchs. Above them stood two individuals, clearly the eunuch and the matron in charge of the Shenxing Division. Zhang Deli hurriedly shouted, "The Empress has arrived!"
Everyone's gaze quickly turned to Mu Junqi, and they knelt down to pay their respects, saying, "Long live the Empress."
"Everyone, please rise."
As soon as she finished speaking, the eunuch approached her, first nodding to Mu Junqi before asking, "May I ask what brings the Empress here at this late hour?"
Zhang Deli leaned closer to Mu Junqi and whispered, "These two are Dong Gonggong and Aunt Feng, who oversee the Shenxing Division."
Mu Junqi smiled knowingly and looked at the two with a sharper gaze. "May I ask what business you have with the maidservant you took from this palace?"
Aunt Feng quickly smiled and bowed slightly. "Empress, you may not be aware, but Mur has just committed an offense. It is only right that we handle this matter in the Shenxing Division. We hope for your understanding," she said while nodding.
Mu Junqi chuckled lightly and looked up and down at the two before speaking. "In that case, I will take charge of this matter."
Aunt Feng and Dong Gonggong exchanged glances. Dong Gonggong immediately stepped forward with a feigned smile and said, "Empress, since this matter has been entrusted to us, we kindly ask that you do not interfere. Servant will ensure you receive a satisfactory response."
Mu Junqi did not expect that the people from the Shenxing Division would disregard her so openly. Angrily, she replied, "Very well. This palace will observe how you provide a satisfactory response." With that, she walked further inside.
The eunuchs and palace maids in the courtyard stared intently at her. Soon after, two palace maids brought Mur forward. As soon as Mu Junqi saw her, she stepped forward and asked, "Mur, are you alright?"
"There's nothing wrong with me, Your Highness, please don't worry. You should go back; I will be able to return soon," Mur said with a faint smile.
Mu Junqi, however, ignored her and turned to Aunt Feng, saying, "Then please handle this matter quickly; this palace will take her away."
After speaking, Aunt Feng approached and sternly looked at the kneeling Mur, saying, "Mur, you were sneaking around outside Tianming Palace and confronting Consort Qian. Do you even realize your crime?"
"In response to my aunt's words, Mur only went to Tianming Palace to ask if the Emperor would come to Jingxian Palace tonight to accompany Your Highness. Is there anything wrong with that? As for Consort Qian, she is clearly framing me."

"Preposterous! What does this palace have to do with shielding her! I just want to know what crime Mur committed that requires the Shenxing Division to teach her a lesson!" Mu Junqi said angrily as she stood up.
Seeing this, everyone hurriedly knelt down. Dong Gonggong stepped forward to mediate the situation. "Empress, Aunt Feng may have gone a bit too far, but she is not entirely wrong. Mur has committed an offense; regardless of your status, she must be punished. Please do not make things difficult for the servants."
At this moment, Mur quickly spoke up, "Empress, I... I'm fine."
