Death Grip
As Punishment stepped down, the entire void instantly collapsed. The force of this step pressed directly against the Emperor of Hate.
“Reverse Nine Swords!”
The expression of the Empress changed slightly, and a black magic sword materialized in her hand, which was the Hate Demon Sword.
Accompanied by the Empress striking out with nine swords, the sharp sword light instantly pierced through the void, colliding fiercely with Punishment's foot.

“Who exactly are you?” The Empress steadied herself and looked up at Punishment, asking loudly.
“I know you; you are the woman of the Hate Emperor. I saw you when I came to the sea region back then,” Punishment said coldly, staring at the Empress.
Meanwhile, Xing Chen's Soul Power was currently shrunk in a corner, watching another soul that had taken control of his body. Shock was evident in his eyes.
“What is going on?” Xing Chen wondered internally. Despite his soul being greatly shaken, he remained clear-headed at this moment.
“Punishment? Could this person be Punishment?” After thinking for a while, Xing Chen finally arrived at a possibility: the one controlling his body was indeed Punishment.
“That's right, I am Punishment, chosen by the Fate Jade Pendant. Our fates are the same; as long as you cannot achieve Mastering Fate, you will ultimately end up like me,” Punishment's voice slowly echoed.
“What do you mean?” Xing Chen quickly asked, but Punishment did not respond further.
“You are definitely not that person from earlier, nor could you be the Hate Emperor. Who exactly are you?” The Empress glared coldly at Punishment.
“As long as you can withstand this strike from me, I will tell you my name,” Punishment slowly replied, and a powerful aura began to rise from him.
"Spear of Punishment!" With Punishment's command, he reached forward and an endless Purple Gold Divine Thunder instantly coalesced in his hand into a Purple Gold Divine Spear. Waves of thunderous power radiated out, as if even the indestructible Eternal Monolith was about to be completely annihilated.
"Hate Emperor Seal!" The Empress's expression changed dramatically; she could clearly sense the power of Punishment's strike. Therefore, she immediately activated the Hate Emperor Seal with all her might.
Accompanied by a Surging Dragon's Roar, the Hate Emperor Seal transformed into a black Demon Dragon, roaring and charging towards Punishment.
"Annihilate!" Punishment remained unfazed, thrusting the Spear of Punishment forward. The spear pierced through the void, traversing countless realms, and collided with the Black Magic Dragon.
"I'll help you!" At that moment, the space beside the Empress rippled slightly, and then a figure appeared before her. This person exuded an incredibly powerful aura, at least a Half-Step Emperor. The divine sword in his hand also seemed to reach at least the level of a Super Divine Grade Divine Weapon.
"Dark Destruction Slash!" The man shouted loudly as he swung his long sword forward, unleashing an extremely fine Black Sword Qi that shot out from the blade.
Although this Black Sword Qi was slender, it contained immense dark power capable of obliterating everything.

The three forces collided. Punishment's body shook slightly as he was pushed back more than ten steps, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

"Punishment? Your strength is formidable, but there will be no good outcome for you if you continue down this path." The man beside the Empress spoke up immediately.
This man was none other than Youyun, the current master of the Hate Emperor Palace, whose strength surpassed that of the Empress. He was a Half-Step Emperor, and the divine sword in his hand was the true Hades Magic Sword belonging to the Yellow Spring Demon Lord.
"Regardless, I am already in this situation; I don't mind if it gets worse. Feel free to unleash any means you have!" Punishment dismissed Youyun's threat entirely.
After all, he was already a dead man, and his soul had been captured within the Fate Jade Pendant. It was already quite difficult for the Fate Jade Pendant to release even a trace of his soul, and he could not maintain control over Xing Chen's body for long. Once the task was completed, this trace of soul would dissipate and perish, so he found Youyun's threat utterly laughable.

"Yellow Spring River?" Punishment looked at the Yellow Spring River around him and couldn't help but laugh. "Even if it were the real Yellow Spring River, it wouldn't be able to do anything to me, let alone this one."
"Earth Resonance!" Punishment extended his palm slightly and then clenched it fiercely. The fourth style of Ming Seven Styles, Earth Resonance, activated with Punishment's grip. Suddenly, the entire ground seemed to freeze in place, and the originally turbulent Yellow Spring River was also suspended in mid-air in an instant.
"Crack crack..." A powerful compressive force suddenly emanated from the ground, causing the Yellow Spring River to be crushed into pieces, and the entire space collapsed directly.

"Stop boasting and take this!" The Empress was not affected by Punishment's words at all. She transformed her Hate Emperor Seal into a Black Magic Dragon that charged toward Punishment.
But within the Realm of Thunder, these Demonic Auras could not exert any effect whatsoever. As soon as the Demon Dragon charged out, it was met with thick Purple Gold Thunder striking down fiercely upon it.
"Receive!" By the time the Demon Dragon approached Punishment completely, its power had diminished significantly and was directly caught by Punishment. The Hate Emperor Seal thus fell into Punishment's hands.
"My Hate Emperor Seal!" The Empress cried out in distress, wanting to retrieve her Hate Emperor Seal. However, Punishment would not give her that chance; the Spear of Punishment in his hand instantly transformed into an Annihilation Thunder Dragon, causing the entire Realm of Thunder to contract into the body of the Thunder Dragon.
"Thunder Punishment Annihilation!" Punishment shouted loudly as the Annihilation Thunder Dragon dove downwards. Its immense power stirred up winds and clouds in the air; thunder roared while below, the sea surged with tumultuous waves.
"Dark Demon Realm!" Seeing the Annihilation Thunder Dragon crashing down, Youyun's expression changed drastically. At that moment, a mist-like substance appeared around him, quickly spreading over a radius of hundreds of miles.
This black mist was indeed the Dark Mist Barrier, capable of corroding all things on earth. Even if Punishment's Annihilation Thunder Dragon entered it, it might not benefit him at all; after all, today's Punishment was not like the Punishment of old.
If it were the Punishment from before, he could have killed these two with just a flick of his finger without such trouble.
