"However, obtaining this Divine Weapon won't be easy. Huang and Xu Shuo are both seasoned experts; if I face them, even I cannot easily claim victory." A hint of worry subtly emerged in Yun Qing's eyes.

"Yes, Leader!" The disciple responded and then slowly exited.
Moments later, a man who appeared to be around fifty entered, followed by a White-Clad Girl.
"Cloud Leader, I truly thank your disciple for this matter. If it weren't for him, I might never have seen my granddaughter again." The visitor was Xu Shuo, the founder of the Eastern Sun Gang, and the girl behind him was Xu Yuxi.
"Not at all; it should be me thanking Elder Xu! If it weren't for your niece blocking a sword for my incompetent disciple, he would have long since lost his life," Yun Qing said with a smile.
"I wonder how your disciple is doing now. Is there anything I can help with?" Xu Shuo directly got to the point without further pleasantries.
"The situation isn't too good. His body is fine, and his soul hasn't suffered any damage, but he has been in a coma and unable to wake up," Yun Qing sighed.
"What should we do? Is he going to be okay?" As soon as Yun Qing finished speaking, Xu Yuxi anxiously interjected.
"Xiyer, don't interrupt. Let Cloud Leader finish," Xu Shuo reprimanded with a stern expression upon hearing Xu Yuxi's sudden interruption.
"It's alright; she is just concerned about her inferior disciple," Yun Qing waved his hand with a smile, indicating that it was fine. He continued, "Although I can't wake him up, he won't experience any other issues, so you don't need to worry about that."
While the few of them were talking, in Xing Chen's room, Black Light flickered around him. Gradually, a jade pendant appeared at his brow, completely black and emanating a dark and profound glow.
As the Black Radiance on the pendant continued to flicker, Xing Chen's breathing became rapid, and his entire body began to tremble slightly. Accompanied by the flashing light from the pendant, strands of black mist continuously emerged from it and merged into Xing Chen's body. With each strand of black mist that integrated into him, Xing Chen's aura grew stronger.

Moreover, two beams of Black Light suddenly shot out from the Black Jade Pendant, forming the characters for 'life,' which began to circle around Xing Chen. Occasionally, beams of Black Light shot out and integrated into him.
"Cloud Leader, what are your thoughts on the Sword Sect?" Xu Shuo asked Yun Qing in the hall.
"Heh heh, an external force like the Sword Sect daring to oppress us is something we cannot tolerate. We must retaliate; otherwise, they will think our Azure Cloud Gang is easy to bully," Yun Qing said with a fierce glint in his eyes.
"Cloud Leader's thoughts align with mine. How about we join forces to pressure the Sword Sect together?" Xu Shuo suggested slowly.
"That would be best. However, I believe Elder Xu also knows that the Sword Sect's Purple Extreme Thunder Sword is about to be forged. What will we do about that sword?" Yun Qing asked intently.
"Heh heh, that's something everyone will have to rely on their own abilities for. I believe Cloud Leader has no objections?" Xu Shuo smiled slightly.
"Of course not. But how should we deal with the royal family?" Yun Qing nodded and then asked.
"Leave the royal matters to me. If they agree to this proposal, it will be a win-win situation. If they do not agree, then we cannot be blamed for that; we will have to join forces to deal with him first," Xu Shuo said, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

"Alright, I will inform Cloud Leader in three days. I won't disturb you any longer today, so I bid you farewell," Xu Shuo nodded and then stood up.
"Grandpa..." At this moment, Xu Yuxi grabbed Xu Shuo's arm and shook it, pouting slightly as she looked at him.
"Oh, look at me; my memory isn't what it used to be at my age. Cloud Leader, may I ask if you could take us to see your disciple?" Xu Shuo said with a smile, patting his forehead.
"Of course, that's no problem. Elder Xu, please follow me!" Yun Qing was momentarily taken aback but then glanced at Xu Yuxi and smiled.
"Cloud Leader, if there's anything I can assist with regarding your disciple, please feel free to let me know. I will certainly help in any way I can," Xu Shuo spoke as they walked.
"To be honest, I'm completely at a loss regarding my poor disciple. Although he is not in immediate danger now, there’s nothing I can do for him; I can only watch helplessly as he lies there like a corpse. As his master, I truly feel ashamed!" Yun Qing sighed.
Meanwhile, Xing Chen was still surrounded by Black Light that flickered continuously. The Black Jade Pendant on his forehead continued to channel dark energy into his body.
At this moment, Xing Chen had opened his eyes; however, they were vacant as if he had lost his soul. Yet his eyes were no longer blood-red but had returned to normal.

Just then, the Black Jade Pendant emitted a sudden hum and transformed into a beam of Black Light that merged into Xing Chen's body. At that moment when the pendant integrated with him, his gaze shifted slightly and regained its former brilliance; the only difference was that his eyes had become colder than before.
