In an old-fashioned apartment with all the windows shut, Tong Wei slammed his hand on the table. "You guys are being too exaggerated. Killing people at random and shooting in the streets—this is no way to conduct business!"
The others sneered at Tong Wei. If he weren't sent by the boss, they would have quickly shown him what it meant to court death. Tong Wei felt a chill as he met their gazes; these were truly desperate individuals.
Just as the atmosphere grew tense, a fat man clapped his hands. Although Tong Wei was sent from above, the real authority lay with this fat man. "Alright, we're all on the same side here. What Tong Wei just said is correct; your actions are too high-profile and will bring us unnecessary trouble. If it delays the boss's matters, none of you will be able to bear the consequences when the boss gets angry!"
Though the fat man didn't elaborate, he noticed everyone's expressions change as if they recalled something terrifying. Bai Yujing, who had previously encountered the Man in Black Coat, nodded from his corner. "Okay, I understand. I will be more careful moving forward!"
The fat man glanced at Tong Wei. "By the way, have you obtained what we needed?"
"I've scanned everything with the equipment. Each piece of porcelain seems to have hidden engravings. It's ready; I can print it out right now!" Tong Wei replied immediately. He dared not challenge the fat man's authority; if it weren't for his protection, he would have likely been disposed of by these ruthless individuals long ago.
The fat man nodded. "Good, very good! Everyone should learn from Tong Wei—focus on doing real work and avoid causing trouble!"
After a while, Tong Wei handed over a sheet of paper filled with dense writing. The fat man glanced at it and nodded approvingly. Tong Wei then asked hesitantly, "What does this say? There are three copies, but it seems like the order is mixed up. I've checked and rearranged them several times; this is my result!"
"Atlantis Language! An Tian, translate this!" The fat man passed the paper over. A woman stepped forward from behind Tong Wei; she was the one who had previously assisted the Man in Black Coat and took the paper.
An Tian nodded. "That's right; it seems we've found the right place this time. Tong Wei, you do have some use after all. Give me some time; this language is too complex, and I need to verify each meaning to ensure there are no mistakes."
"Ding ding ding!" The fat man took out his phone to check a message and then looked at the Man in Black Coat.
"Heizi, you’ve been exposed; you can’t stay with us anymore!"
"What should I do then?"
"We're leaving immediately. You clean up here and leave no traces behind. The family downstairs has also been dealt with. Tomorrow I'll arrange for a boat; you need to leave the country right away—don’t linger here any longer. You won’t be needed for anything else here!"

Bai Yujing finally heard the long-awaited sound again; the Exotic Creature Hunter System had begun issuing tasks once more. It seemed that tasks were only assigned when certain events reached a specific stage and triggered certain messages.
Main Quest: Find the legendary Center that opens the gates of Atlantis (complete) — Reward: one hundred and fifty points. If the task fails, three hundred points will be deducted. If points are insufficient, previously exchanged items, skills, and enhancements will be revoked.
Side Quest One: Find the legendary Merfolk — Reward: one hundred points.
Side Quest Two: Locate Atlantis — Reward: fifty points.
At this moment, Bai Yujing was riding an electric bike through the streets, disguised as a food delivery person, wearing a helmet to avoid being recognized. Although Bai Yujing had his own objectives, he felt both anger and fear towards the actions of such people. Growing up in peace, he had only seen scenes of people killing each other over trivial matters in the news.
Thus, while determined to find what he needed, Bai Yujing was also filled with a sense of indignation, wanting to bring these individuals to justice. The area he was currently in was Nerima Ward, known as the birthplace of Japanese anime. One of his favorite childhood animations, Doraemon, was set here.
Nerima Ward is located next to Shinjuku District, where Bai Yujing and Li Hao were situated. Therefore, it didn't take long for Bai Yujing to arrive. He finally spotted the black Suzuki van he had seen before in a corner; he recognized it at a glance.
The vehicle was parked beside an old apartment building that looked somewhat dilapidated. Bai Yujing took out his phone and snapped several photos of the door number before attaching a tracker underneath the van. At that moment, the door opened, startling Bai Yujing. He quickly pushed his bike to the front and pretended to look at a map as if he were delivering food.
"One, two, three, four!" Bai Yujing silently counted; there were four people in total. One of them was his old friend Tong Wei, along with a fat man, a woman, and a teenager around seventeen or eighteen years old. Bai Yujing did not see the Man in Black Coat.
The four individuals loaded their bags into the van one after another. The woman glanced at Bai Yujing's back several times, causing him to hurriedly push his bike to the entrance of one of the houses and pretend to knock on the door. Only then did she retract her gaze and get into the van, locking the doors as they sped away.
Bai Yujing took a breath of relief after watching them leave. At that moment, the door of the house he had knocked on opened, and an elderly woman peeked out. "Is there something you need?"
"Uh, did you order takeout from Yoshinoya?"
"No!"
"I'm sorry, I made a mistake!"
Bai Yujing pushed the cart and immediately went inside through the door where a few people had just exited. To his surprise, he found the door was not closed; he didn't know if those people had forgotten to close it or had intentionally left it open. He entered the foyer and arrived at the dining room. Bai Yujing looked around and saw that the kitchen was piled high with garbage, a heap of fast food wrappers scattered across the table.
At that moment, Bai Yujing heard sounds coming from upstairs, sensing something was off: "Those people just left with their things; it looks like they were about to leave here. Why is there still someone left behind?"
Bai Yujing carefully ascended the stairs but noticed strange grunting noises coming from a nearby room. He turned to look and immediately saw through the crack in the door several people who were tightly bound.
A man, a woman, and a child around seven or eight years old—what was going on?
Bai Yujing pushed the door open and walked in. Upon seeing him, the group began to struggle even more. Bai Yujing made a shushing gesture and said in Japanese, "I'm here to rescue you. Don't speak; there are still people upstairs. Don't alert them!"
This family must be the original owners of this place. The man and woman nodded repeatedly. Once Bai Yujing saw they had calmed down, he began to untie their ropes. The way they were tied up was quite severe; honestly, it had an artistic flair, especially on the woman!
"Mom!" As soon as the child's ropes were untied, his previously muffled mouth opened up, and he couldn't help but burst into tears. Bai Yujing thought this was bad news when he suddenly heard the door behind him creak open, revealing a shadow.
Heizi looked at Bai Yujing in the room and smiled, "You really seem to be everywhere. I remember that punch you gave me; I was just thinking about how to repay you when you walked right in!"
Heizi had bandages wrapped around his nose; Bai Yujing's heavy blow had landed right on that spot, causing Heizi quite a bit of trouble.
