Kairuot and Xiaoli fell into a dark corridor, and the stone slab above them quickly closed after they landed.
The corridor was only two or three people wide, sloping slightly downward into the depths of the underground. All along the way, Kairuot observed and found that the walls of the corridor were covered in carvings, with human figures in these Reliefs closely resembling Capricornians.
Thus, Kairuot said, "We must be trapped deep underground. As they spoke, they arrived in another room. This room appeared to be a tomb chamber. They were astonished by the lavish decorations inside, the pure gold Reliefs covering the walls of the tomb chamber, along with many gold and silver jewels and ornaments.
Kairuot thought: [Could it be that the Capricornians have also become vulgar? What is their intention in collecting so many valuable burial items to place in this tomb?]
At that moment, Xiaoli discovered an inscription on the wall from the Pyramid Inscription. She read one of the lines aloud: "The sky extends its brilliance towards you so that you may ascend to heaven, like the eye of Ra."
The Pyramid Inscription described an object called the "Flying Chariot" crashing near Cairo, with one survivor—the Pyramid Designer, who now lay in a coffin within the tomb chamber. The purpose of the pyramid he built was to serve as a signal for his kind from outer space to come for rescue.
After reading the Pyramid Inscription, Kairuot asked Xiaoli, "Do you believe what is described in the inscription?"
"Is there any doubt? Of course I believe it."
Kairuot shook his head helplessly and said, "You actually believe this trick meant to deceive Earthlings."
Unintentionally, they came upon a coffin made entirely of pure gold. Inside lay a mummy wearing a pure gold mask. The entire coffin was sealed with a transparent cover resembling glass. Although the body was wrapped up, both of them could still feel through their Sixth Sense that the heart of the person inside was still beating.
Kairuot confidently stated, "This person has been here for several thousand years."
Xiaoli curiously asked, "Why not rescue him?"
Kairuot told her, "The one in the coffin is just a shell, there is no soul left; he is a living dead. His soul has long since attached itself to other things. This person has transformed from Homo Sapiens into a Wise Being... Speaking of which, we have already entered the core chamber of the Capricornian base."
Homo Sapiens and Wise Being were concepts that Xiao Li didn't quite understand and didn't want to ask about. What she was concerned about was what they should do next, so she asked, "This seems to be the last burial chamber of the pyramid. We have reached the bottom level of the pyramid, and I feel like this chamber has no exit... Brother Kairuot, should we go back the way we came?"

"Let's hurry and find it."
After saying that, they began to search seriously in the burial chamber, trying to quickly find the switch to open another chamber. They tried almost everything that could possibly serve as a switch in the burial chamber but found nothing.
Xiao Li thought: [If the control switch isn't in this room, it might be in the corridor.] So she returned to the corridor and checked each mural and relief one by one but still found nothing.
Xiao Li returned to the burial chamber and saw Brother Kairuot standing next to the coffin, carefully examining the pure gold coffin.
"What's so interesting about the coffin? You can just lift off the glass lid on top," Xiao Li shouted.
Kairuot did not respond immediately; he continued to examine the coffin closely—this coffin was made entirely of pure gold, smooth and reflective, with no button to open the lid. Below the coffin—both were surprised to discover an opening.

Xiao Li jumped down first, followed closely by Kairuot. They had barely taken a few steps when the coffin above automatically returned to its original position, blocking off the opening. It seemed that returning was no longer an option; they could only continue moving forward.
They jumped down to a passageway, still without any light, cold and dark, the long corridor extending downward without an end in sight. The walls of the passage were very smooth, devoid of murals or sculptures. After walking for a long time, Xiao Li couldn't help but ask her brother Kairuot beside her, "Are we going down to hell?"
Kairuot replied, "This is the passage from Capricornian to Earth's Core Base. The road downward is still long."
"How can you be sure it leads to Earth's Core?"
"My father told me when I was young that Capricornian plans to hollow out the Earth and build a massive base deep within it to control the planet."
"They have quite an ambition."
"They can control it, but I hope they don't destroy the Earth."
They hurriedly continued down the passage.
"We're walking blindly without any purpose; when will it end?" Xiao Li asked. "Let's find a place to rest; you haven't rested for a day."
"How can we rest in this narrow passage? It's better to keep going."
After more than an hour of brisk walking, they finally found a resting spot in the passage. It resembled a small room with a table and chairs, covered in dust from long disuse. Kairuot lightly touched it with his finger, and his fingertip was covered in dirt, making it impossible to sit down. Seeing this scene, Kairuot said, "We are deeply trapped in the abandoned base of Capricornian. Moreover, we are getting further away from the surface. It seems they want to keep us trapped here forever."
