Kairo Mecha Flagship Base can be considered a place that Kairuoka is very familiar with. Since he became aware of his surroundings, he has spent many years here, so he knows every building and layout inside out.
Leaving the mecha behind and without the Lightness Skill, Kairuoka quietly slipped into a military hangar in the barracks area, quickly finding his way to Kairozhi Squad Leader's monitoring room.
Through the glass screen outside the monitoring room, Kairuoka saw Squad Leader Kairo Zhitong reading an electronic book projected by the Light Screen, looking particularly melancholic. “The day after tomorrow,” Kairo Zhitong replied.

“Understood. Don’t worry, Leader; there are many soldiers in the army who are dissatisfied with Kai Ruo Feng. They just dare not speak out since Kai Ruo Yuqi is still in their hands. “Perfect, let’s arrange it this way. Tonight at virtual time, we’ll meet in Conference Room No. 9,” Kairuoka said while patting Kairo Zhitong on the shoulder.
Kairo Zhitong was always efficient in his tasks and quickly notified all the old comrades who had fought alongside Kairuoka. To be cautious, he did not explain the situation too clearly, only mentioning that there was a major issue that needed to be discussed.
So, when everyone arrived at Operation Room Nine, they were filled with confusion and uncertainty—Squad Leader Zhitong had never called everyone together for a meeting like this. With about twenty people gathered, they sat neatly in the operations conference room, relying on trust and their military training, quietly waiting for Squad Leader to speak.
At that moment, Kairuoka gracefully appeared before everyone, causing dramatic changes in their expressions, all of which were filled with surprise and excitement—Kairuoka was their great hero! They could never forget the thrilling times spent fighting against the Scorpion Walker, those experiences of life and death shared together!
After a few seconds of silence, someone finally jumped up excitedly and shouted, “Oh my God! Our true leader has returned!”
The others seemed to snap back to reality immediately, standing up to salute Kairuoka.
However, just then—a gunshot rang out, shattering the solemn atmosphere—
Chief of Staff's assistant Kairudi burst in with six soldiers, tightly gripping a Laser Weapon, and menacingly shouted, “Nobody move! If anyone moves, I will shoot!”
Everyone present turned to look at him; these were seasoned soldiers who had been on the battlefield—what kind of scene hadn’t they seen? They remained calm in response to the current situation.
Kairudi pointed his gun around and said, “I knew you restless ones would rebel sooner or later! I’ve been watching you for a long time! Surrender now to avoid being shot down!”
As soon as Kairudi finished speaking, he was struck down by a flash of light. The six soldiers beside him were stunned and didn’t have time to react before Kairuoka appeared behind them, and his subsequent actions were merciless.
All the officers present were inspired by this scene; indeed, their leader was unmatched after regaining his abilities, earning their admiration.
Next, everyone quickly hid the seven bodies with great tacit understanding, surveyed the surroundings to confirm there were no more enemies, sealed off Operation Room Nine, and continued with the meeting.
When discussing critical arrangements, Kairuoka said, “To catch the thief, first catch the king. I will head to the Command Center to control Kai Ruo Lang. Each of you should act separately and eliminate any traitors in your teams as quickly as possible. This must be done cleanly and discreetly.”
Immediately, everyone promised to cooperate and began executing their action plans.

“Since you feel you have no control over your situation, then you can be locked up in the cell for a while to reflect,” Kairuoka said. With that, he forcefully broke Kai Ruo Lang’s arm and tossed him to Kairo Zhitong, who had followed behind.

That same day, Kairuoka summoned Kai Ruo Yunpeng back to the Flagship, assigning him responsibility for all mecha operations. In less than a day, the entire Flagship Mecha Battalion had returned under his command.
The next day at noon, everyone gathered in Operation Room Nine to discuss strategies and follow Kairuoka's final arrangements in preparation for thwarting the Chief of Staff's coronation ceremony.
