Fang Ru's body moved again, and the Ancient Sorcerer's heart raced. It seemed that Fang Ru was about to wake up.
Startled, the Black Qi Serpent lunged forward and "buried" itself between Fang Ru's legs.
"Ah!"
Fang Ru's body trembled, her eyes flew open, and she woke up. At first, she was still disoriented, only feeling something round and moving between her legs.

After crawling several meters, she found herself facing a wall. With nowhere to go, she crawled toward the corner of the wall and finally curled up in it.
Fang Ru was terrified. When she crawled forward just now, it felt like something had pulled out from between her legs!

Gu Fei looked at Fang Ru like this, and the smile on his face grew even wider. The two had grown up together, so they were very familiar with each other. Fang Ru had always been calm, as if nothing could faze her, no matter what happened.

Gu Fei watched Ancient Sorcerer flee in a hurry and smiled even more as he helped Fang Ru up from the ground and recounted everything that had just happened in detail.

Recalling the earlier situation, Gu Fei found it both bizarre and amusing.
Fang Ru shot Gu Fei a glare and said, "You're still laughing!"
"Hahaha! I don't want to laugh either, but your tearful expression just now was too funny. How many years have I known you? I've never seen you so flustered before. At that moment, you must have felt like someone had... well, you know. By the way, what was that feeling like? I bet you felt something; otherwise, you wouldn't have woken up..."
"Stop talking!"
Fang Ru glared at Gu Fei again.
"Alright, let's not talk about that anymore. How are you feeling now?"
Seeing Fang Ru like this, Gu Fei didn't dare to continue joking. However, she knew this matter wasn't over; she had plenty of entertainment to look forward to and wasn't in a hurry.

The room fell silent; neither Fang Ru nor Gu Fei spoke. Especially Fang Ru, who replayed all the events that occurred during the archaeological process in her mind, trying to see if anything unusual had happened. As she thought back, many details she had previously overlooked resurfaced.
"This situation... really does seem strange."
Not sure if she was overthinking it, Fang Ru found that the more she thought about it, the stranger things seemed.
"Let's go find the Ancient Sorcerer!"
After saying this, Fang Ru turned and headed outside. It was necessary to confront the Ancient Sorcerer to clarify what exactly had happened.
