The sun had not yet risen, and a faint mist enveloped the entire Luo Family Village, giving it an otherworldly feel.
"Brother Tian, how did you manage to bring the beautiful Feng along?"
Luo Tieniu held a large bowl in his hands, slurping noodles.
"I just happened to run into her."
Early in the morning, the Ancient Sorcerer picked up Feng Leyao and headed straight for Luo Family Village. Upon arriving at his home, Feng Leyao was immediately pulled aside by his mother, Su Cui, who chatted away as if she were looking at a daughter-in-law. This left the Ancient Sorcerer feeling helpless.

Luo Tieniu laughed, clearly not fully believing the Ancient Sorcerer's words.
The Ancient Sorcerer decided not to explain further, as it would only complicate matters.
"This time, the one interested in our village's Mountainous Area is a person named Ono Ken Saburo from an island nation..."
"Damn it! An islander? I don't see any of those bastards in the village daring to rent out land."
Before the Ancient Sorcerer could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Luo Tieniu.
Giving Luo Tieniu a glare, the Ancient Sorcerer said, "Can you take on everyone in the village? This matter can't be handled like that."
Rubbing his forehead, Luo Tieniu asked, "Brother Tian, what do you suggest we do?"
"I've arranged for that Ono Ken Saburo to come to the village today."
The Ancient Sorcerer stood up, patted Luo Tieniu on the shoulder, and said, "I'll go find Jiu Ye. You go inform the villagers that the person interested in contracting the Mountainous Area will be coming today. Those who want to listen should gather at the Drying Ground at the village entrance."

“Ancient Sorcerer, you’ve arrived.”
As soon as Ancient Sorcerer saw Jiu Ye stop his practice, he immediately reached for the towel draped over the rack and handed it over.
After taking the towel to wipe the sweat from his forehead, Jiu Ye picked up a large cup nearby and took a sip of water.
“Jiu Ye, have any strangers come to the village recently?”
Given that Luo Family Village is difficult to access and rarely sees outsiders, any unfamiliar faces would surely be noticed.
“Now that you mention it, I do recall something. About half a year ago, a few foreigners came to the village, including some Japanese. They claimed to be tourists and wandered around the village for several days before leaving.”

Ancient Sorcerer smiled; although Jiu Ye was older, he was still sharp-witted and quick-thinking.
“There’s a possibility. I had Six Ghosts inform him to come to our village today for a discussion. I also had Tie Niu notify everyone in the village that those who wish to listen should attend.”
“Oh? What are your thoughts?”
As Jiu Ye walked slowly, he understood that since Ancient Sorcerer had invited the other party to the village, there must be another plan in mind.
“I have a way to make him reveal the truth.”
Ancient Sorcerer was one hundred percent certain that Ono Ken Saburo had ulterior motives for wanting to lease land here. If they could get him to disclose the facts, no one in the village would be willing to rent out their land again.
“Your idea is good, but will that Japanese be willing to tell the truth?”

Situ Nan shook his dizzy head; the journey had been terrible, and after tossing and turning all night on the bamboo, his back was still sore.
“County Chief Situ, our company’s investment in a certain area is not primarily for profit but to improve the lives of local people. Luo Family Village is one of the most remote villages in Wuan County, and investing here aligns perfectly with our mission.”
Situ Nan smiled slightly; businessmen seek profit, and he didn’t believe Ono Ken Saburo’s words. However, considering the money and women involved, he couldn’t be bothered to expose him.
“Let’s go; we’re getting out.”
Situ Nan pushed open the car door and got out first. He had already noticed a crowd gathering at the Drying Ground at the village entrance.
Ancient Sorcerer had been waiting. Upon seeing the Audi, he knew the main guests had arrived. However, he was somewhat surprised when two people stepped out of the car. One was clearly Ono Ken Saburo, but the other was evidently a local person, and judging by his demeanor, he was not an ordinary villager.
“County Chief, what brings you here?”
Luo Ning, who had originally lagged behind Ancient Sorcerer, rushed over as soon as he spotted Situ Nan.
