Shinichi's body lay on the cold floor, the kitchen knife rolling away and landing in a distant corner.
His heart had been pierced, and blood quickly stained the floor, like an art piece that should never have existed.
"In a few minutes? It looks like I have to take a chance." Right broke free from Shinichi's hand, with a hint of determination in his tone.
"If I directly hit the heart, it will be impossible to repair within a few minutes. But if I don't do it, Shinichi will no longer be Shinichi." Right hesitated for a moment, finally made a decision, and flowed into Shinichi's heart like a liquid.
"Right now, block the hole in the heart! Heart and lungs, you must recover at the same time. There's no time, can't take too much risk." Right is busy inside Shinichi's heart.
"Heartbeat, move faster!" Right urgently calls inside the heart, as if motivating a machine about to stop.
Suddenly, a heartbeat echoed in Shinichi's chest. Shinichi coughed as if life was returning.
"It seems to have some effect, but we can't expect him to heal automatically," Right sighed, starting to gather cells from all over the body in an attempt to repair Shinichi's body.
"I also have to return to my original position in order to protect Shinichi. Following the flow of the blood vessels, I slowly returned to Shinichi's right hand.
That night, Right was like a busy doctor, constantly working inside Shinichi's body."
In the morning, the school bell rang. In the classroom, Murano Rimi anxiously looked at the empty seat of Shinichi.
"What's wrong today? Maybe I should go to his house after school," Rimi thought.
In the afternoon, Rimi went to Shinichi's house, rang the doorbell, but no one answered.
"What's going on?" Rimi couldn't help feeling a little anxious. She tried to gently push the door and found it unlocked.
"Shinichi, where are you?" Rimi called out softly, nervously opening the door and stepping into the room.
As she entered the house, a strong smell of rust immediately filled her senses.
She suddenly saw Shinichi lying on the floor, his face as pale as a sheet of paper.
"Shinichi!" The shock in Rimi's eyes turned into action in an instant. She rushed towards Shinichi and reached out her hands, trying to help him up.
"Rimi, don't touch him!" Mi, who is parasitizing Rimi's right leg, suddenly shouted.
"Right now Righty is performing emergency treatment on Shinichi, and it's very likely that Shinichi's heart has been pierced," Mi explained urgently.
"How is this possible? Why is this happening? Didn't we already save his parents?" Rimi cried in despair, her tears blurring her vision.
Just then, parasite Righty's voice suddenly sounded, " Rimi, Mi, it's great that you're here. I can't leave Shinichi's body right now, so I need you to go buy some liquid food to give him energy. He hasn't eaten anything all day, and his condition is very bad right now."
Rimi quickly wiped away her tears and nodded. "Okay, let's go right away. You do your best to keep Shinichi's vital signs stable."
Mi and Rimi quickly left Shinichi's house and headed straight to the nearby convenience store. The store was brightly lit, in stark contrast to the dimming evening outside.
"Liquid food, liquid food..." Rimi quickly searched in front of the shelves and eventually found some nutritional drinks and liquid food.
"These should be enough," Mi said sternly, "Let's hurry back, we don't have much time!"
The two immediately checked out and hurried back to Shinichi's house. Rimi opened the door, her heart pounding, afraid of what they might find when they got back.
After entering the room, Shinichi was still lying on the floor, but his expression seemed slightly calmer. It looks like Righty successfully sustained his life.
"I brought liquid food and nutritional drinks," Rimi quickly said, carefully placing the food to the side.
Righty's voice rang out again: "Thank you all, I will make sure to help Shinichi recover as soon as possible."
Then, Shinichi's right hand moved slightly, like a tentacle, slowly reaching for the nutritional drink. The tentacle wrapped around the bottle, carefully opened it, and then aimed the bottle's mouth at Shinichi's mouth.
Shinichi took a sip and his complexion seemed to improve a bit. Righty spoke again, "This should hold for a while. Rimi, Mi, what were you saying just now? Shinichi's parents have been rescued?"
Rimi nodded, tears filling her eyes once more. "Yes, Righty, just pretend I'm talking to myself. First, tell me why Shinichi was injured like this."
"I'll tell you after Shinichi passes the danger." Righty said, "The most important thing now is to protect Shinichi and prevent him from getting hurt again."
"I understand," Rimi clenched her fists, her gaze determined.
"So, Rimi, I have a proposal," Righty suddenly said.
"What proposal?" Rimi asked in confusion.
"During the time when Shinichi is still not awake, I feel that my combat abilities have greatly decreased since I left Shinichi's side, and for a period of time, I will fall into a deep sleep. Now I need your and Mi's strength, at least to have more ways to respond in emergency situations."
Rimi immediately felt that this proposal was very reasonable. "Okay, I agree."
"So, it's decided then," Righty said.
At that moment, Shinichi's body trembled slightly.
"It looks like he heard our conversation," Righty sighed.
"Shinichi, you must hang in there," Rimi silently prayed, feeling a slight sense of comfort as she watched Shinichi's gradually recovering complexion.
The phone at home rang, breaking the tense atmosphere. Rimi hesitated for a moment, then walked over to answer the phone.
"Hello, is this Shinichi?" came the anxious voice of Izumi Shikibu from the other end of the phone.
"Hello, Auntie, this is Rimi. Shinichi is currently, um, unable to take the call for the time being," Rimi tried to keep her tone as calm as possible, but her heart was in turmoil.
"It's you, Rimi. My heart suddenly skipped a beat last night, and I had a bad feeling. I've been calling your house all morning, but no one answered. Even your uncle's phone is turned off, which worries me a lot. Are you all okay? What's wrong with Shinichi?"
The voice of Izumi Shikibu carries obvious concern and unease.
Rimi listened, feeling even more nervous, but she knew she couldn't let Izumi Shikibu worry. "Aunt, don't worry too much. Shinichi is feeling a bit unwell, but we are handling it. I'm not sure why uncle's phone is turned off, but I will find out the situation as soon as possible."
"Alright, you all must be careful. If anything happens, tell me immediately." Izumi Shikibu's voice still sounded full of concern.
"Okay, auntie. You take care of yourself too." Rimi hung up the phone and let out a long sigh.
She walked back to the room, looking at Shinichi who was still trembling slightly, and then glanced at Righty and Mi.
"Aunt just called, and she also seems to have a bad feeling. I told her we are dealing with it, but we need to find out what happened and solve it as soon as possible," Rimi said firmly.
"I completely agree, but that man may not be something you can handle," Righty responded.
"Which man?" Rimi asked curiously.
"The man who has taken over Shinichi's father's body," Right replied.
"What? Uncle has become a parasite now?" Rimi exclaimed in disbelief.
