In the stillness of the night, Shen Ling quietly leaned against Xiao Hei's body.

Strangely enough, in the depths of the night, Shen Ling heard no unusual sounds.
After a tense wait, dawn began to break. Suddenly, an entirely different aura erupted from within Xiao Hei.
A ghostly light enveloped Xiao Hei's form; in Shen Ling's eyes, that ethereal glow quickly engulfed him entirely before vanishing almost instantaneously.
Then, Xiao Hei's tightly closed eyes opened, and a wave of breakthrough energy spread out.
