It was daytime, and most of the Survivors taking refuge in the Public Security Bureau had gone scavenging in other parts of the town. On the way, Shen Yuan had seen a few of them. About a hundred people were scattered across six streets in Zhangjia Town and in two villages nearby, making them quite inconspicuous.
In fact, Guo Zuo had done some good by clearing out most of the Zombies that were still alive in the town, which made it safer for those scavengers.
Currently, there weren't many people left in the Public Security Bureau; they were all members of the New Public Security Bureau militia. When they saw that even Guo Zuo was dead, they didn't dare to run around. They all crouched down with their heads held, afraid to move.
Who would dare to run!
Li Ge's full name is Li Wenhao, a very ordinary name. It was said that there were many Mutant Beasts in the surrounding villages.
During the day, those Mutant Beasts rarely appeared. But at night, they would roam around, some even coming into the town. Without a strong protector, being outside alone at night could be deadly!

Chen Letian swaggered around, scaring that group into a daze before running over to Shen Yuan to report: “Boss, Guo Zuo and Zhou Weiyi may have been with women, but such good fortune doesn't extend to these Lackeys. They are just errand runners who can't do any bad deeds; they're ordinary folks.”
Shen Yuan nodded and then asked, “What about those women?”

Knock, knock!
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
The room fell silent!
Several women looked at each other, huddled together, and then turned to Ling Jie.
Ling Jie sighed, trying to calm her emotions and steady her voice: "Who is it?"
A woman's voice came from outside: "My name is Zhang Huanxue, and I have Wei Luhe with me. We're both women. Don't be afraid; we're here to understand the situation and help you feel at ease. We're not bad people. Guo Zuo has already been killed by Shen Ge and his group, so you are safe now."
Ling Jie stood up to open the door, but Xiaowen shook her head while holding onto her arm.
Ling Jie smiled and patted her back: "Don't worry. Have you forgotten who Ling Jie is? A senior HR from a big company! I can tell just by looking that these people are fine. Don't be afraid; everything will be alright with Ling Jie here!"
Ling Jie walked over and opened the door.

Guo Zuo's room was near the stairway, the first room on the left.
The door was not locked.
