There can be a maximum of one Leader, two Vice Leaders, three Guardians, four Hall Masters, six Helmsmen, and eight Stewards; the number of officials is determined by the Gang's level (excluding the number of Leader and Vice Leaders). In reality, only the Leader, Vice Leader, Elders, Guardians have real power in a gang; Hall Masters, Helmsmen, Stewards, Internal Affairs Officers, Public Works Officers, Merchants are similar and only differ in name. Generally, Merchants may be removed easily, but Public Works Officers and Promoters are not so easily dismissed. Elites and Gang Members only differ in name and have no power at all.
