By the time the rubble filled the Wizard Tower, it was already nighttime. Daniel commanded the Wizard Tower to fly back over Aolek Fortress.
As time passed, Daniel noticed that down below, Myles and the others had become somewhat relaxed, holding a lively banquet and enthusiastically celebrating the arrival of reinforcements.
Natalie couldn't help but curiously ask, "What exactly are you planning to do with these stones? Don't tell me you're preparing to throw them at them. They are Wizard Apprentices, not skinny peasants farming in the fields. It’s impossible to kill them with stones."
Daniel chuckled and wanted to keep them guessing, but suddenly noticed the curious gazes from a few people behind him, along with expressions that seemed to say, "If you don't tell us, we'll make you regret it." The place where the banquet was being held immediately fell into chaos as several unfortunate souls were struck directly by falling stones, resulting in their brains being splattered and dying on the spot.

Daniel took out an Explosive Potion, placed it inside an empty stone, and then threw it down. Soon, flames erupted below as the enhanced stone struck right between two Wizard Apprentices.
The two of them were using a single protective shield to conserve magical energy and initially thought nothing of being hit by the stone. However, the potion exploded instantly, and they didn't even have time to react before dying. It was truly unfortunate.
The explosion sounded like a death knell, with explosions echoing from all around.
The Wizard Apprentices, who had previously calmed down and dismissed the stones, were suddenly terrified and no longer dared to conserve magical energy. They all activated their protective shields and stopped avoiding the falling stones, allowing them to land on top.
Now seeing the stones falling desperately and unable to evade them, they resorted to using magic to destroy them. However, this consumed a lot of magical energy, and facing the rain of stones, they simply didn't have enough energy to expend.

Suddenly, the previously silent Aolek Fortress roared like a dragon awakening, and countless Wizard Apprentices surged out.
They were full of energy and had rested well, unlike the exhausted Wizard Apprentices outside.
The Aolek Fortress was originally situated in a very perilous location, with only a few meters wide Passage in the middle and cliffs on both sides. After thousands of years of transformation by the Flame Throne Wizard Academy, very few could pass through at once. No matter how many people there were, they could not spread out, which was also a major reason why the enemy found it difficult to breach the Aolek Fortress.
