“However, I am unwilling to accept this. Is there any way for me to become a Wizard Seed?” 0

The reason Daniel personally delivered the potion was not something he had discussed with him beforehand. 0

Regardless, the two had traveled together to the academy, their relationship was good, and they had mutual interests. He wanted to hear Furnal's opinion. 0

Furnal thought for a moment and said, “The reason you cannot succeed is simply due to two factors. One is that you have just become a Second-Level Wizard Apprentice, and your strength is relatively low; this cannot be compensated for in a short time. 0

The other reason is that your reputation has not spread. Even those who have heard of you do not take it seriously; at most, they think you are somewhat capable. However, compared to a Wizard Seed, you are still far behind. 0

If you can win unanimous approval from all the apprentices, it may not be impossible for you to become a Wizard Seed.” 0

Daniel had not considered this aspect at all. “So what can I do?” 0

“Knowledge. I don’t know about other things, but I know your knowledge is extremely rich and solid. Perhaps even those mentors might not understand as deeply as you do. If you can spread your reputation through teaching, who would deny your worth?” 0

“Thank you, let me think about it carefully.” 0

Daniel took his leave and thought that this method was quite good. He turned around and went to Maxwell's Wizard Tower. 0

Placing his hand on the door, the door of the Wizard Tower opened automatically, and Daniel walked in. This showed how much favor he received from Maxwell. 0

Maxwell had at least 100 apprentices, many of whom were not valued by him; it was rare for anyone to freely enter and exit the Wizard Tower. Usually, one could only meet him during his public lectures. 0

Yet Daniel could visit Maxwell at will without even needing to report in. 0

“Daniel, what do you need? Don't take this morning's matter to heart; just work harder next time.” 0

“The mentor is right, but I still want to try harder. I can't just accept my fate like this.” 0

“What do you plan to do?” 0

Maxwell perked up; he had no way to handle such matters. How could a single apprentice manage it? 0

Daniel recounted Furnal's method and finally thought, “Mentor, you know my knowledge is quite solid, so I would like to take over your paid classes for three hours every Wednesday. I wonder if that would be acceptable to you? Of course, I won't take any of the tuition fees.” 0

Maxwell hesitated for a moment. This was related to his reputation; if Daniel couldn't perform well, it would reflect poorly on him. 0

However, thinking about the knowledge Daniel had gained from him, this apprentice had nearly drained him dry, leaving him with a feeling of uncertainty about what else he could teach. 0

Especially since this matter also affected his own reputation. The Wizard Seed he nominated ultimately failed to be selected, and it happened even when he had an advantage. If others found out, how would they view him? 0

He could only accept that his status in the academy was low and that he had no authority. 0

“Alright then, tomorrow is my lecture time. You will substitute for me; don't come looking for me if something goes wrong.” 0

“Thank you, mentor.” 0

“Tomorrow I will prepare to explain Anatomy, so get ready for that!” 0

The next day, the Teaching Hall was bustling with people. Many apprentices had already received the news that Maxwell would be explaining Anatomy. Those who could come here were either interested in this subject or needed it for their studies. 0

Before entering, they had already paid their tuition fees. However, unexpectedly, a minute had passed since the usual class start time, and Maxwell still had not appeared. This was wasting their time, and they were all somewhat puzzled, asking others around. 0

At that moment, a young man dressed in a tailcoat, wearing a top hat and holding a lectern, walked in from outside, instantly attracting everyone's attention. This person was Daniel, who was prepared to give the lecture. 0

He walked slowly to the podium, removed his top hat, bowed to everyone, and slowly began, "Good morning, everyone! I just received news that Maxwell Mentor has an urgent matter to attend to and will not return until this afternoon. To avoid wasting your time, I will temporarily represent him for the lecture." 0

As soon as Daniel finished speaking, a wave of murmurs erupted in the classroom; such a thing had never happened before. 0

Although the Formal Wizards had never taken them seriously and often skipped classes during public lectures—arriving late or leaving early with an attitude of merely going through the motions—they still managed to finish their lectures at least. They would turn around and leave immediately afterward without caring whether the students understood or how well they listened. 0

However, in paid classes, it was different; at least they would persist until the end, making the students feel that their Magic Stones were not wasted and had some value. 0

But what was happening now? 0

Maxwell collected their tuition fees but actually backed out and sent an ordinary apprentice to replace him. It was hard for them to accept this situation. Someone immediately spoke up with a question. 0

"Professor, what does it mean that the mentor is not coming? How can he not show up? Does that mean our money was wasted?" 0

"Are you questioning the mentor?" 0

"No, no," the speaker quickly waved his hands in denial. He dared not say such things; if it reached the mentor's ears, it would be as easy for him to crush him as it would be to squash an ant. 0

Yet it was impossible for them to submit; after all, they had paid tuition fees. The two Magic Stones were not a small amount for them; many had to save for one or two months to gather that sum. Losing it all at once was heartbreaking. 0

Someone couldn't help but ask, "Since the instructor is not here, why don't we come back next time to listen?" 0

"Exactly, I'll come back next time." 0

Daniel glanced at them and said, "Whatever, the instructor is gone, so I will temporarily represent him to explain this lesson. The Magic Stones received will not be refunded." 0

The crowd murmured again, and it took a while for them to quiet down. They really didn't want to accept such a domineering condition. 0

If they accepted this time, what would happen next time? Would other instructors follow suit and have apprentices explain as well? 0

In the end, they would be the ones at a disadvantage. 0

A young man stood up and said, "Daniel, since the instructor is not here, we should just come back next time. What do you mean by this? Who do you think you are to teach? Can you even teach? Do you understand what Anatomy is?" 0

"Are you questioning the instructor's decision?" 0

"I wouldn't dare; I just don't want to see my hard-earned Magic Stones go to waste. We risk our lives fighting enemies to earn those Magic Stones. It's not easy for us." 0

His words drew unanimous nods from the crowd. If there was hope, who would want their Magic Stones to be at risk? 0

"Whatever, if you don't trust me, you can leave at any time. Just know that the Magic Stones will not be refunded." 0

The other party immediately got angry. "On what basis? Who do you think you are to replace the instructor?" 0

"This is the instructor's decision. If you disagree, you can leave at any time. I will now begin the lesson." 0

"On what basis? I disagree." 0

Daniel was about to start his lecture when he was interrupted again. 0

Daniel paused, glanced at him, and coldly said, "I have already made the decision as the instructor. If you disagree, you can leave at any time. I hope no one will disturb me during my lecture." 0

However, the other party completely ignored him. Daniel spoke a few sentences, but the other person continued to interrupt, not allowing him to explain. 0

Seeing this, Daniel did not hesitate and directly cast an Explosive Fireball, rapidly launching it towards the other party, causing chaos in the scene. 0

The other party merely snorted coldly and sent out a fireball of their own. The two collided, creating brilliant sparks before disappearing. 0

Daniel did not care about that. "Professor's Explosive Fireball," "Professor's Barrage Fireball," he unleashed them one after another, especially the Professor's Barrage Fireball, overwhelming the opponent in flames. 0

Although it seemed he had the upper hand, Daniel could feel that under the protection of the Flame Shield, the other party was not harmed at all, leaving him astonished. 0

The opponent was just an ordinary Third-Level Apprentice, and the spells used had not been improved. Yet even in such a situation, he could only slightly gain the upper hand without being able to harm the other party. This demonstrated the gap between a Second-Level Apprentice and a Third-Level Apprentice. 0

If it were an ordinary Second-Level Apprentice, even if three or four of them teamed up, they would still be crushed by the opponent. 0
