Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Daniel meditated on the runes, feeling that he might become a First-Level Wizard Apprentice today.
This was an astonishing speed; according to the Meditation Method, advancing to First-Level Apprentice within a year was already considered remarkable. Very few could achieve this, and he had only been studying for a little over two months.

Daniel forced a smile. As his mentor, how could Maxwell understand the struggles of an apprentice? He was so broke that he was on the verge of starving, and he still hadn’t paid off the ten Magic Stones owed to the academy. How could he possibly earn some Magic Stones?
"Teacher, I mainly wanted to consult you because I encountered a problem during meditation last night."

However, Maxwell had to admit that Daniel had achieved something remarkable; he had never seen such a talented apprentice before. If properly trained, Daniel could certainly help him regain some prestige.
"That speed is something only a fool would have. You used the eighth rune, which is several times faster than theirs, so of course your promotion is quick. As the first Wizard Apprentice under my guidance to be promoted, I will teach you three spells for free."
"Thank you, Mentor."
Daniel stood up and bowed deeply. He was truly a good person; the reason he came so early was precisely for this.

At that moment, Daniel realized that there seemed to be a lot more information in his head. Seeing that Maxwell had no intention of continuing the conversation, Daniel took his leave and returned to his dormitory to check.
The three spells were Fireball Spell, Fire Shield Spell, and Wizard's Hand. In his mind, they manifested as a fireball, a shield engulfed in flames, and a clenched fist. The first one he examined was Wizard's Hand.
The essence of magic is to construct an illusory Witchcraft Model in one's mind through Mental Power, thereby manipulating external elemental particles to form spells.
This is both the most difficult and simplest aspect. It is difficult because constructing an illusory Witchcraft Model is not something everyone can do.

As he slowly released a Wizard's Hand, Daniel felt as if an invisible palm had appeared around him. It moved with his thoughts, going wherever he wished, as agile as a real hand.
With his intent, a teacup on the table slowly rose and flew to his lips, tilting so that Daniel could drink the tea inside. It was as if an invisible person was serving it.
Books from the shelf began to float up and automatically flip open, allowing Daniel to read at his leisure. It was perfect for showing off.
