Before he could finish, Daniel opened it and saw nothing but an extremely ordinary painting depicting a villa and a beautiful garden.

In front of him was a winding path that meandered through the beautiful scenery of the garden, leading directly to a villa in the distance.
A familiar feeling washed over him. Daniel quickly realized that this was clearly a scene from a painting. Had he really entered into a painting? It was too incredible to believe.
Suddenly, a line of text appeared in the air, continuously increasing in number, as if someone were writing with a quill.
"Outsider, follow the path ahead to enter the villa, and you will become a Wizard Apprentice."
The text slowly faded away. Daniel thought for a moment and understood that this was a test from the wizard. He stepped forward according to the instructions.
As soon as he stepped onto the path, he felt lightheaded, as if his head were heavy and his feet were light. The beautiful gardens on either side began to twist and distort.
Suppressing his nausea, Daniel walked forward step by step. The further he went, the more distorted the scene became before his eyes, causing him to see illusions of twisted demons that severely affected his senses. He could only rely on his feelings to move forward.
He didn't know how long it had been when he finally stepped off the path and entered the villa.
Daniel let out a sigh of relief; he had reached his limit. If it continued like this, he might truly fail.
After resting for a moment, he stepped into the villa and found a transparent crystal ball before him. A line of text appeared beside it: "This is the crystal ball used to test wizard qualifications. Place your hands on top."
Daniel placed his hands on the surface of the crystal ball.
A strange sensation coursed through his fingers. A sharp pain shot through Daniel's head, as if a glass rod were stirring violently inside. As the pain intensified, the crystal ball began to emit a faint glow. The pain grew more severe, and the crystal ball shone brighter.
Instinctively, Daniel wanted to pull his hands away but was shocked to find that they seemed glued to its surface; no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't detach them.
"I can't take it anymore."
Eventually, Daniel collapsed onto the ground, his head pounding as if it would explode. Only then did the crystal ball stop its pulling force and release his hands.
Immediately after, another line of text appeared beside him: "Test passed. You may become a Wizard Apprentice. Please report to Wizard Academy."
Great! He finally became a Wizard Apprentice. He never expected it would be so easy to become a Wizard Apprentice.
Daniel took a break, and suddenly, the figure of Viscount Harris appeared before him. The two stared at each other for a moment, and Viscount Harris asked, "What's wrong? Why are you just standing there?"
Daniel looked around and realized he was back in the secret chamber. "Have you been here all along? You didn't disappear?"
"Of course, where did you think I would go?"
