Lin Yu steadied himself, gripping the knife handle at his waist with his left hand, his gaze sharpening. Five suddenly charged across the water's surface, splashing as he aimed to win through speed. At the same time, not far away, Six lifted two stones and hurled them at Lin Yu.
Lin Yu reacted instantly, stepping back with his right foot and slightly turning his body. He swiftly drew the knife from his waist. The blade flashed as it sliced through the air in a horizontal arc. Thanks to the chain, the attack range of the blade widened, nearly covering the entire space in front of Lin Yu.
Seeing this, Five executed an astonishing backbend, quickly leaning backward to evade the deadly strike. Lin Yu's blade whizzed through the air with a humming sound, creating a powerful gust of wind. Although Five avoided the blade, he was forced to halt his advance and lost his opportunity.
In that moment, the two stones flew rapidly toward Lin Yu with heavy force. Without hesitation, Lin Yu stepped quickly to the right to dodge Five's attack while launching another strike. The blade flashed again as it cleaved toward the incoming stones. The knife collided with the rocks, producing a crisp sound as they were split in half, scattering fragments everywhere.
Lin Yu's movements were fluid and seamless, showcasing his high level of combat skill and reflexes. His breathing was slightly hurried, but his eyes remained locked on Five and Six without any sign of relaxation. He knew these two enemies would not give up easily; another wave of attacks could come at any moment.
Five stood up from his bent position, surprise and anger flashing in his eyes: "Thirteen, you really have some skills."
Six coldly laughed, preparing for the next attack. Lin Yu understood that this battle was far from over, but he was ready. No matter how powerful the opponents were, he would persist for his beliefs and goals without retreating.
Lin Yu began to swing the knife in his hand; the chain spun rapidly as the knife moved in an infinity pattern before him, creating an impenetrable defensive barrier. The blade glimmered coldly under the moonlight, giving Lin Yu a moment to catch his breath and an opportunity to observe his enemies' movements.
Seeing this, Five's eyes glinted with cunning. He started to quicken his pace, darting swiftly left and right across the water's surface like a ghost. Five's movements were rapid and agile as he attempted to distract Lin Yu, making it difficult for him to focus on defense.
While Five lured Lin Yu's attention, Six charged furiously from the shore with arms wide open like a bull on a rampage. Six's strength and speed were astonishing; a fierce battle intent burned in his eyes as he clearly aimed to overwhelm Lin Yu in one blow.
Lin Yu felt the dual pressure but remained calm. He steadily swung the knife in his hand; the rotation speed of the chain increased rapidly as the blade wove a solid defensive line before him. The sharpness of the blade combined with the agility of the chain made his defense impeccable.
Five's figure flickered across the water's surface with agile and quick steps, but he found no opportunity to break through Lin Yu's defense. His gaze grew colder, a smirk appearing at the corner of his mouth as he calculated his next attack strategy.
Six charged towards Lin Yu without hesitation, his hands ready to unleash a deadly attack at any moment. Lin Yu knew that he had to be more cautious in the face of such power.
Just as Six was about to close in on Lin Yu, Lin Yu suddenly changed the direction of his blade, sweeping it horizontally with a swift motion that created a sharp sound of wind. This move served both as defense and offense, forcing Six to abruptly halt and retreat quickly.
Seeing this, Five swiftly circled around to Lin Yu's right side, attempting to launch a surprise attack from the flank. However, Lin Yu was already prepared; his gaze was calm and resolute as he adjusted his blade once more, forming a defensive barrier that neutralized Five's assault.
The ripples on the water's surface spread continuously amid the intense standoff among the three, with moonlight casting shadows of blades and swords.
Noticing that Lin Yu's defense was impenetrable, a glint of malice flashed in Five's eyes. He quickly flicked three small knives from his sleeve, sending them flying towards Lin Yu's side. The knives glinted coldly in the moonlight, aimed directly at Lin Yu's vital points.
At the same time, Six, lurking nearby, seized the opportunity and charged forward with arms wide open like a beast pouncing. Faced with attacks from both sides, Lin Yu felt a chill run down his spine and realized he could only abandon defense and strike back.
He crouched low, swiftly dodging the incoming knives and feeling the cool breeze as they grazed over his head. Without hesitation, he swung his blade towards Six, attempting to halt Six's advance.
Seeing the knife come flying towards him, Six sneered and positioned the armor on his arms to meet the blade. Sparks flew as the sharp edge scraped against the armor, producing a piercing metallic clash. The hardness of the armor deflected the knife back to the ground with a crisp sound.
Though Lin Yu's attack was thwarted, he did not feel discouraged; he had already calculated his next move. He quickly stepped back to create distance from Six, while simultaneously sidestepping to avoid Five's attack.
Frustrated that his flying knives had failed, Five felt a surge of anger but maintained his cold demeanor. He rapidly closed in on Lin Yu, wielding dual daggers that sliced through the air with a whistling sound, ready to deliver a fatal blow at any moment.
Meanwhile, Six, now even angrier, advanced towards Lin Yu, his armored arms gleaming ominously with immense pressure. As he approached, he swung his fists heavily towards Lin Yu’s chest. Once again, Lin Yu had to dodge, nimbly shifting sideways to evade this lethal strike.
Six’s fist struck the ground beside Lin Yu, creating a dull thud that kicked up dirt and debris. Lin Yu moved swiftly and agilely, leaving no opportunity for Six, but he could still feel the immense pressure bearing down on him.
As Lin Yu dodged Six's attack, Five quickly closed in, his dual daggers striking like venomous snakes. Lin Yu swung his blade to block once more, the edge of his sword clashing with the daggers, sending sparks flying and producing a sharp sound of impact. His strength met Five's daggers head-on, with both sides exerting their utmost effort.
Lin Yu felt a numbness spreading through his arm, realizing he couldn't afford a prolonged battle. He caught sight of Six approaching again and swiftly turned, pushing off the ground to leap towards a nearby high ground, attempting to create distance and look for an opportunity. Six's fist missed again, but his eyes were filled with fervor and rage, clearly unwilling to let Lin Yu escape easily.
Five sneered as he swung his daggers again, launching a fierce assault on Lin Yu. His speed was astonishing, each strike infused with lethal intent, forcing Lin Yu to respond with all his might.
While dodging, Lin Yu quickly calculated his strategy. He knew that mere defense wouldn't lead to victory; he had to find an opportunity to counterattack. Just as Five closed in again, Lin Yu suddenly crouched down, leveraging the terrain to swiftly dodge to the left while simultaneously swinging his blade towards Five's waist.
Seeing this, Five quickly retreated but was still grazed by Lin Yu's blade, leaving a trail of blood across his waist. His expression turned cold in an instant, a glint of malice flashing in his eyes. Although Lin Yu's counterattack was effective, it only enraged Five, making him even more frenzied.
With Five injured, Six became even angrier, his muscles tensing as he lunged at Lin Yu. His strength and speed were astonishing; each punch carried devastating power. Lin Yu couldn't afford to be careless and skillfully dodged again, but Six's onslaught was like a torrential storm, leaving him gasping for breath.
