After speaking, the Old Witch channeled her energy and recited incantations; in an instant, the Consciousness Corps surged from underground, a green vortex rushing towards the Immortal of Eternal Youth.
Noticing something was amiss, the Immortal of Eternal Youth turned his palm and channeled his energy to protect himself, forming a barrier of Taiji Yin-Yang energy around him. The Consciousness Corps continuously struck against the protective barrier of the Immortal of Eternal Youth, various obsessions slowly penetrating through the energy wall, preparing to invade his consciousness. Just as things were getting critical, Divine Turtle Eternal Life appeared in time and unleashed a Qigong attack against the Consciousness Corps. The protective barrier of the Immortal of Eternal Youth was breached, and at the same time, the Consciousness Corps was repelled. Divine Turtle Eternal Life then took away the Immortal of Eternal Youth. The Old Witch remarked, "So there are helpers; this time you are lucky, despicable Taoist."
Divine Turtle Eternal Life and Immortal of Eternal Youth escaped from Liu Ling Tavern. Divine Turtle Eternal Life said, "Liu Yi is mysterious and can control the Consciousness Corps. Within the Eternal Ice Seal, Tai Kuang Lord had frozen hostage Han Shaowu from his neck down, leaving only his head above the ice. Bai Wujin, Zheng Po, and other members of the Martial Arts Community arrived at the Eternal Ice Seal, ready to rescue Han Shaowu. Upon seeing two Fusang villains freezing Han Shaowu, everyone in the Martial Arts Community was filled with righteous indignation. Eager to save him, they rushed forward with intentions to take Tai Kuang Lord's life to rescue Han Shaowu. As they approached within ten zhang of frozen Han Shaowu, Passionate Lord used Destruction Copper Mirror from a distance to unleash Qigong attacks. After several screams of agony, corpses lay scattered across the ground, staining the white world with blood. Bai Wujin observed and said, "It's Destruction Copper Mirror; I didn't expect it to have such great power."
Tai Kuang Lord declared, "Only two hours remain until Han Shaowu is executed; if you want to save him, hurry up! Hahaha!"
One fearless member of the Martial Arts Community blindly charged towards Han Shaowu like before. Arriving among the corpses, Qigong struck again; he saw a martial artist deflect several strikes with his sword before continuing forward. Unexpectedly, blade energy and palm force came continuously; unable to cope with it all, he died on the spot. Tai Kuang Lord remarked, "The lessons from previous attempts are vividly clear; how foolish!"
Bai Wujin addressed others in the Martial Arts Community: "Everyone must not act rashly anymore; Tai Kuang Lord uses artifacts for attacks that are hard to defend against. We need to think of a plan first."
Zheng Po said, "Time is running out; let me give it a try."
Bai Wujin replied, "Do not be reckless." Before Bai Wujin could finish speaking, several members of the Martial Arts Community jointly unleashed sword energy and blade energy attacking Destruction Copper Mirror from afar. However, when Destruction Copper Mirror was struck by Qigong, it did not budge an inch but instead absorbed all blade and sword energies. Zheng Po approached Passionate Lord and unleashed a swift sword aura, soaring into the air and launching himself towards Passionate Lord, executing fierce moves. Passionate Lord wielded the Horned Blade Lin Knife and countered with a slash, completely neutralizing Zheng Po's sword technique; then he released a blade aura that swiftly severed Zheng Po's head. The numerous members of the Martial Arts Community, seeing Han Shaowu killed, could no longer contain their anger and rushed towards Tai Kuang Lord and his companion, seeking revenge for Han Shaowu. However, their martial skills were mediocre; as they entered the attack range of the divine artifact Qigong, the outcome was predictable. Cries of anguish filled the air, and moments later, the scene was littered with corpses, a river of blood flowing. Seeing everyone perish tragically, Bai Wujin quickly fled the scene to save himself.
Tai Kuang Lord said, “This time we have gained a lot; now three of the Five Divine Artifacts are in our possession. The fate of Yu Yunhai is uncertain, and his whereabouts are hard to trace. At this moment, a powerful force of Buddha's power quietly arrived at the scene. The Demon Among Demons, focusing his energy, faced off against the Celibacy Master. Their palms clashed; the ground beneath the Celibacy Master sank three inches as chaos erupted around them. The Celibacy Master said, “Amitabha! Thank you for your timely assistance.”
Within the Ascension Platform, Duanmu Chong led those from Eternal Years—Sea Never Dries Up and Stone Never Decays—against an injured Nightmare Demon and Murong Yaoxian. As part of his strategy as a member of Snow Before Shame, he launched a rapid assault on the weakened Nightmare Demon. With old wounds unhealed and having lost some inner strength already, it was extremely disadvantageous for him. Seeing her husband injured, Stone Never Decays instructed him to stand aside and watch instead.
Having successfully withdrawn from encircling her further, Sea Never Dries Up stepped back while leaving it to his wife to face off against her alone; both sides remained evenly matched after dozens of exchanges without any clear victor emerging as they reached a stalemate. Meanwhile, in his battle with Nightmare Demon, things were looking dire as he suffered more injuries at every turn until he reached a critical point. Just when it seemed hopeless for him, help arrived just in time as the Immortal of Eternal Youth returned to the Ascension Platform . The Immortal of Eternal Youth unleashed Taoist palm techniques upon Duanmu Chong which resolved Nightmare Demon 's crisis.
The Immortal of Eternal Youth said: “Eternal Years people come here without even greeting me? If you know what’s good for you, leave quickly! Otherwise I will unleash my wrath upon you all; there will be no place for your corpses.”
Seeing that Immortal of Eternal Youth possessed formidable skills and was also this domain's master made Duanmu Chong hesitate to offend him lightly; thus he called for a retreat. Stone Never Decays supported Sea Never Dries Up as they left; even as they departed he couldn’t help but glance back at Murong Yaoxian several times—this did not escape Stone Never Decays ’s notice though she chose not to comment on it for now.
Nightmare Demon bowed respectfully saying: “Daoist Priest! You have saved me once again.”
Immortal of Eternal Youth replied: “No need for thanks; I wish to inquire about matters concerning Liu Ling Tavern .”
Nightmare Demon responded: “It seems you have already visited Liu Ling Tavern and met with Yin Yang Person Liu Yi .”
Immortal of Eternal Youth said, "After Liu Yi transformed into the form of Old Witch, he can control a stream of Green Qi Flow. This strange aura is immensely powerful, and I have no way to deal with it."
Nightmare Demon replied, "This flow of energy is Liu Yi's Consciousness Corps, a legion that specifically occupies human consciousness and imposes various collected consciousnesses onto the invaded individuals, causing them to hallucinate and believe they are someone else.
