To protect his prized disciple's safety, Mengzi raised his hand to deflect the strike; the Confucian palm energy surged forth to neutralize Duanmu Chong's lethal attack. Seeing that Mengzi could easily dispel his palm energy left Duanmu Chong puzzled; he thought: A mere scholar possesses such power? This is truly unexpected; it seems a fierce battle is inevitable today.
Before Duanmu Chong could ponder further, Mengzi unleashed a deadly palm strike like a volley of arrows rushing towards him. Duanmu Chong waved his right hand to summon energy, forming a protective barrier of qi in front of Duanmu Chuxiu to block Mengzi's palm energy. Not wanting to be subdued, Duanmu Chong decisively executed his famous move, Galactic Destruction, aiming to eliminate this detestable opponent before him. Mengzi refused to back down and countered with his renowned technique, Killing Intent; in an instant, the airflow formed the characters for "person" and "speech," striking towards Duanmu Chong one after another. The clash of their ultimate techniques shook the ground; buildings trembled under their might. The Martial Arts Auction was instantly reduced to rubble as disciples from both Confucius Academy and Martial Arts Auction who could not evade were buried under the collapsing structures. Both combatants were injured by their own energies; Duanmu Chong spat out blood while Mengzi only had a few drops trickling from the corner of his mouth, clearly indicating that Mengzi's Inner Strength was superior.
Duanmu Chong did not wish to accept defeat so easily; gathering his inner essence, he unleashed his powerful move Cosmic Annihilation fueled by rage in an attempt to turn the tide. Mengzi's determination to eradicate evil was unwavering; he flipped up his left sleeve as he executed his famous technique—Ritual of Killing—while simultaneously using his right hand to channel his ultimate move—Killing Benevolence—both techniques unleashed together for the first time aimed at achieving victory and eliminating future threats. The clash of these renowned techniques stirred up chaos; cries echoed as if ghosts were wailing; the sun and moon dimmed while mountains and rivers trembled. Mengzi's attack once again overpowered Duanmu Chong's technique; struck in the abdomen, Duanmu Chong immediately coughed up blood in agony from severe injuries. Mengzi declared, "Criminal Duanmu Chong, let me end your sinful life." With that said, Mengzi launched a palm strike towards the heavily wounded Duanmu Chong. Just at that critical moment, a Magic Technique—Severing Tendons Without Harming Vessels—arrived just in time to resolve Duanmu Chong's crisis. The one who executed this technique was none other than one of the Five Great Swordsmen of the Martial World—the Sword Demon Tiedan.
Seeing that this newcomer possessed extraordinary martial arts skills, Mengzi asked, "Who are you? Why did you intervene to save the heinous Duanmu Chong?"
Sword Demon Tiedan replied, "I am Sword Demon Tiedan here today; no one shall kill Duanmu Chong."

Not wanting evil to escape easily, Mengzi ordered his disciples to pursue quickly; Liang Shanbo and Zilu rushed after Sword Demon Tiedan and the others.
Run, run, run. Sword Demon Tiedan hurriedly ran across the wilderness with the injured Duanmu Chong and his disciple. Suddenly, the leader of the Daughter Clan, Shu Heng, came seeking revenge and struck towards Sword Demon Tiedan. Sword Demon Tiedan could only stop and brace for the attack, curling his left hand's fingers to unleash a powerful sword aura towards Shu Heng. As the palm energy shattered, Shu Heng was unable to dodge in time and was pierced in the right shoulder by the sword aura, blood gushing out and causing his face to turn purple from pain. Sword Demon Tiedan said, "A girl who doesn't know her place dares to block my path as the Sword Demon. Are you tired of living?"
Before Sword Demon Tiedan could finish speaking, people from the Confucius Academy arrived, surrounding the three of them and leaving no chance for escape. Sword Demon Tiedan continued, "A bunch of ants dare to embarrass themselves in front of me." After saying this, his sword spun out, rapidly sending several sharp sword auras towards the encircled students. Several students were unable to dodge and were instantly pierced by the sword aura, dying on the spot. Zilu and Liang Shanbo, witnessing their fellow disciples' tragic deaths, joined forces to attack Sword Demon Tiedan.
Injured Shu Heng faced off against injured Duanmu Chong. When enemies meet, there is no need for words; only battle remains. Shu Heng, enduring his injuries, fiercely gathered his true energy and unleashed his signature move, Lion's Roar, aiming to annihilate the demon Duanmu Chong. Facing this lethal move, Duanmu Chong chose to injure himself rather than back down, countering with his ultimate technique, The Sea Changes. The two injured fighters each held firm in their resolve to kill one another; their relentless techniques collided spectacularly, illuminating the scene with countless sparks. However, Duanmu Chong's move proved stronger than Shu Heng's; once again, Shu Heng was injured and sent flying dozens of feet away, blood spurting from his wound and leaving him severely hurt.
Meanwhile, Zilu and his companion were struggling against Sword Demon Tiedan. After several exchanges, Zilu was already disheveled while Liang Shanbo bore multiple injuries with blood flowing continuously. Just as Sword Demon Tiedan intended to end the lives of Zilu and Liang Shanbo, Mengzi arrived just in time to defuse their crisis with a single palm strike. Mengzi: "Unrepentant evil-doer Sword Demon Tiedan, it seems you have no reason to exist in this world any longer. I shall send you on your way." With that, he unleashed his Confucian technique, Killing Justice, to eliminate the demon.
Sword Demon Tiedan, however, was not without wit; he launched several attacks towards Mengzi, then quickly fled towards the direction of Northern Martial Arts. After deflecting those attacks, Mengzi pursued him urgently. However, Sword Demon Tiedan was much faster than Zilu, Liang Shanbo, and others; he caught up with a disciple from the Confucius Academy and took Liang Shanbo hostage. At that moment, Mengzi arrived; for the sake of his prized disciple's life, he had no choice but to order everyone to halt their pursuit. Meanwhile, Sword Demon Tiedan took Liang Shanbo towards the direction of Northern Martial Arts. Upon reaching the entrance of a dense forest at Northern Martial Arts, Duanmu Chong suggested killing Liang Shanbo on the spot. However, Sword Demon Tiedan did not heed this advice and instead released him.
Duanmu Chong: "Why let that person go free?"
Sword Demon Tiedan: "This time I have repaid you for saving me from the Martial Arts Tribunal using your scheme of Li Dai Tao Jiang. Eastern Proud Dragon repeatedly attempted to encircle Yi Junsheng but returned empty-handed each time; this opportunity was too good to miss—he unleashed ferocious attacks like a tide aimed at killing this detestable foe before him. Faced with the furious onslaught from an enraged Eastern Proud Dragon filled with hatred, Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head displayed their best skills; they would not allow this demon to act so arrogantly. However, Eastern Proud Dragon possessed immense strength and had enhanced internal energy compared to before; both Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head suffered multiple injuries from Eastern Proud Dragon 's great axe. Seeing how dire their situation had become, Yi Junsheng had no choice but to resort to cunning tactics—he decided it was time to flee.

Thanks to Yi Junsheng 's loud cries along the way many members of the Martial Arts Community believed him; they could not allow such rampant thievery in broad daylight and rushed forward attacking Eastern Proud Dragon .
Caught off guard by these righteous individuals attacking him en masse while holding axes defensively after several rounds of combat many members of the community fell defeated despite their good intentions but managed to delay Eastern Proud Dragon 's pursuit momentarily. After defeating members of the community Eastern Proud Dragon continued chasing after Yi Junsheng . Moments later Yi Junsheng reached Gusu Palace —the base of Black Design Society .
Yi Junsheng shouted loudly: " High President come out quickly! Business is here!"
Black Design Society ’s President Gao Jianli slowly emerged from within Inner Hall : “It’s you Yi Junsheng ! I’m sorry but you’ve been blacklisted by my Black Design Society ; we will no longer do business with you.”
Upon hearing this Yi Junsheng nearly fainted: “What? Have you lost your mind? I am one of the richest people in all martial arts! How can you blacklist me? Are you tired of making money?”
