The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Yi Junsheng said to Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances, "Who are you? Why are you interfering in our affairs?"
Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances replied, "I am Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances. I happened to pass by and saw you fighting, so I intervened."

Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances answered, "First grievance: the decline of moral standards; second grievance: people's hearts are not as they used to be; third grievance: swords have two edges; fourth grievance: evil forces run rampant; fifth grievance: monks eat vegetarian; sixth grievance: the martial world is heartless; seventh grievance: beautiful women are fickle; eighth grievance: prodigals are sentimental; ninth grievance: cats have nine lives; tenth grievance: there are few true talents; eleventh grievance: martial artists lack virtue; twelfth grievance: some care too much about their image; thirteenth grievance: words are not trustworthy; fourteenth grievance: severed ties still linger; fifteenth grievance: being stubborn and unyielding; sixteenth grievance: misfortunes never come alone; seventeenth grievance: reaching the peak is difficult; eighteenth grievance: never having tasted defeat."
Yi Junsheng said, "Oh, I can understand so many grievances, but why do you hate monks eating vegetarian?"
Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances replied, "Monks eating vegetarian is undoubtedly a form of self-destruction. I, Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances, despise those who cannot even treat themselves well. How can they expect others to treat them well?" With that, he left.
Yi Junsheng exclaimed, "That's reasonable! Hey, I haven't finished asking yet! How can you just leave? You haven't told me where I can find you!" After saying this, Yi Junsheng hurried after Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances. However, a blade aura came rushing towards him, forcing Yi Junsheng back and preventing him from continuing the chase. With no choice but to stop, Yi Junsheng halted his pursuit.
Under the moonlight casting shadows and the sound of footsteps echoing through the path, the Martial Arts Sect members led by Duanmu Chong were marching towards Wudang Peak in full force. A massacre was about to unfold. At this moment, Original and Unique's Dreamy Beauty was also leading Smoke and Rain, Absolute Flower, and Eighteen Floors towards Wudang Peak with the intention of assisting Duanmu Chong in eliminating the Taoist Sect members.
On Wudang Peak, Taoist Sect disciples reported that several groups were approaching. The Taoist Sect's leader, Daoist Master Taiyi, immediately ordered the sect to enter a state of readiness for battle. The members of the Taoist Sect sharpened their weapons and prepared for a bloody fight against the incoming forces. The Void Daoist said, "The ambitious figures of the martial world have finally extended their claws to the Taoist Sect. It seems this is an unavoidable battle. I opposed expelling Yi Zhangzhi from the Taoist Sect back then. Now that we have lost Yi Zhangzhi's support, our chances of winning are slim!"
Taiyi Daoist replied, "To speak of defeat before battle is to boost others' morale while diminishing our own. Our Taoist Sect has me and three seniors stationed here; it will be difficult for Duanmu Chong alone to achieve victory."
Xumi Daoist added, "Duanmu Chong's influence is vast; his faction must have many experts. Moreover, he has recently absorbed numerous sects and gathered many talents. Daoist Master Daoqu may be underestimating Duanmu Chong's strength too much. We must be prepared for abandoning our teachings to save our lives."
Taiyi Daoist said, "Is this kind of talk appropriate for a respected elder of the Taoist Sect?"
Xumi Daoist replied, "Does Daoist Master Daoqu mean we must hold our ground at Wudang Peak?"
Taiyi Daoist responded, "Indeed, I must coexist with Wudang Peak. If the peak stands, so do we; if the peak falls, we perish."
Xu Li Daoist said, "Since Daoist Master Daoqu has made a decision, we have no choice but to comply."
Leaving the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain, Murong Yaoxian wandered aimlessly through the Martial Arts Alliance, unsure of where to go. It had been a long time since she had enjoyed the moonlight outside, and this moment brought a unique feeling to her heart. Suddenly, several Thugs, taking advantage of the dark night, attempted to humiliate Murong Yaoxian. They surrounded her to prevent her from escaping. One of the Thugs said, "Beautiful lady, let me accompany you to enjoy this wonderful moonlight." He then lunged at Murong Yaoxian, intending to embrace her and savor the moment, but she swiftly dodged, causing him to miss.
At that moment, the other Thugs, growing impatient with lustful intentions, rushed forward. Murong Yaoxian drew her sword and swung it, forcing the Thugs to evade in order to avoid injury. What followed was an even fiercer assault; outnumbered, Murong Yaoxian found herself at a disadvantage. The Thugs, eager for a taste of beauty, fought with all their might. Murong Yaoxian felt as fragile as a candle in the wind or snow on the ground. Just as she was about to be overwhelmed, a Magic Technique called Shattered Corpse, No Bones Left arrived just in time, turning several Thugs into mere Red Skeletons. The only surviving Thug, witnessing this horrific scene, immediately turned to flee; however, the Magic Technique called Shatter Bones, Leave No Corpse struck him with lightning speed. His bones were instantly crushed, leaving only a limp body on the ground. The Nightmare Demon then appeared before Murong Yaoxian.
Murong Yaoxian said, "It's you, Nightmare Demon. Thank you for saving me."
Nightmare Demon replied, "I saw you alone here; you must have been driven out of the Martial Bamboo Divine Domain by Yi Zhangzhi."
Murong Yaoxian explained, "Mr. Yi did this for my safety."
Nightmare Demon remarked, "That is indeed an irresistible reason. I understand his intentions clearly; his purpose is evident. But I do not wish to comment on his actions; now is not the right time for matters of love. Let me take you to Murong Manor."
Murong Yaoxian asked, "Why to Murong Manor?"
Nightmare Demon answered, "Currently, Murong Manor is far removed from the conflicts of the martial world; it is a good place for seclusion. Come on." With that, they headed towards Murong Manor together.
After battling with Eastern Proud Dragon, Yi Junsheng, exhausted and weary, arrived at the Drunken Red Mansion, ready for a good rest. The Drunken Red Pavilion Madam eagerly recommended the mansion's top courtesan, Ruhua, to him. Unable to refuse her hospitality, he accepted. Upon entering the room, Ruhua said, "Handsome Young Master Yi, why haven't you visited the Drunken Red Mansion lately? Have you forgotten about me?"
Yi Junsheng said, "I have many trivial matters to attend to, so of course I cannot come here often. How could I forget you, Ruhua, who is as beautiful as a fairy? However, I am indeed too tired today to do that, so please forgive me."
Ruhua replied, "It doesn't matter. Young Master Yi, do you know that a literary contest will be held at the Confucius Academy next door to the Drunken Red Mansion? I heard that the champion will receive a Golden Brush presented by the Confucius Academy."
Yi Junsheng said, "A Golden Brush? Then I must participate in this literary contest. With my vast knowledge, winning the championship will be as easy as pie, hahaha!"
Ruhua remarked, "Why not say you have knowledge as vast as five carts?"
