ps. Here is today's update. 0

Japanese Sniper still felt a sense of awareness and quickly got up from the ground. 0

Tie Zhu was startled by the sudden movement of Japanese Soldier, raising his gun slightly and nervously pulling the trigger. 0

"Bang!" 0

The bullet directly hit the chest of the Japanese sniper, the height of the gun's muzzle raised just matched the height at which Japanese Soldier was getting up. The bullet fired from his hand, fueled by vengeful anger, shot straight into Japanese Sniper's chest! 0

Tie Zhu breathed a sigh of relief; he thought he had missed the shot, but accidentally hit Japanese Soldier instead. 0

Japanese Soldier was not dead yet, lying on the ground moaning, blood pooling around him. Tie Zhu did not approach but instead pulled back the bolt again and fired another shot at Japanese Soldier. 0

This shot completely ended Japanese Soldier's life. The bullet shot through between Japanese Soldier's legs, causing him to convulse once, arching his back off the ground, and then fell silent. 0

After reloading, Tie Zhu walked up the stairs step by step, keeping his eyes fixed on Japanese Soldier, not taking them off for a moment. 0

He kicked Japanese Soldier twice with force; there was no response. Tie Zhu sighed in relief and crouched down to search through Japanese Soldier's belongings. One of Japanese Soldier's hands had already reached for his waist, where a Grenade had its safety pin removed, his hand almost touching the trigger. 0

"Cunning little devils!" 0

Tie Zhu cursed a couple of times, secured the Grenade, tucked it into his own waist, and continued searching for anything useful. 0

There were many items on this enemy soldier. Tie Zhu found chocolate, compressed biscuits, canned food, and a pistol—a rather nice-looking one. He toyed with it in his hand before hiding it on himself; he wasn't planning to turn it in but would keep it for his own protection. 0

"What is this?" Tie Zhu found a tin box on Japanese Sniper's body. 0

He carefully opened it and discovered it contained various items: a small knife, a metal plate, fine threads, and so on. After taking a look, Tie Zhu placed them into his own pocket. 0

This gun is strange. Tie Zhu picked up the weapon used by the Japanese Soldier from the ground. The barrel is thicker than the Type 38 rifle he used, and there is something resembling a telescope mounted on it. 0

He held the gun in front of his eyes and tried it out. 0

"Damn!" 0

Tie Zhu was startled and dropped the gun on the ground. "What’s going on? Why can I see so clearly?" 0

Cautiously, he picked up the gun again and observed through the barrel once more. 0

Aiming at a distant window, Tie Zhu moved the crosshair over and gently pulled the trigger. 0

"Bang!" 0

A muffled gunshot rang out, quieter than the Type 38 rifle. Through the scope, Tie Zhu saw that the window he aimed at had been directly pierced by the bullet. 0

"This... this is amazing! No wonder I was shot dead from so far away earlier. No wonder Shunliu Brother could be killed by him!" 0

Thinking of Shunliu Brother, tears streamed down Tie Zhu's face. "Shunliu Brother, Tie Zhu has avenged you! Wait for me; I’ll take this Japanese Soldier's head back to honor you!" 0

He drew his bayonet and walked over to the corpse of the Japanese Sniper, his eyes red as he stared at him. Trembling, he reached out his hands, grabbed the man's hair, and lifted his head. 0

The bayonet hovered in the air for a long time as Tie Zhu struggled to figure out how to proceed. He had killed people with both guns and bayonets before, but this was his first time trying to cut off a head afterward; he couldn't bring himself to do it. 0

"Tie Zhu, Tie Zhu, this Japanese Soldier killed your Shunliu Brother. If you don’t take his head back to honor Shunliu Brother, how can you face him?" 0

This thought echoed in his mind, as if a voice was urging him on incessantly. 0

Tie Zhu closed his eyes and placed the bayonet against the Japanese Soldier's neck. He turned his head and made a swift cut, feeling warm blood flow onto his hand from the bayonet. 0

He secretly opened one eye and saw a large gash in the Japanese Soldier's head, blood pouring out, with surrounding flesh and blood vessels clearly visible. 0

Tie Zhu felt a wave of nausea in his stomach and closed his eyes again. He moved the bayonet back and forth across the neck, as if sawing wood. 0

After nearly a minute, Tie Zhu felt a sudden release; he was holding the Japanese Soldier's head in his hand. 0

Opening his eyes, Tie Zhu saw the Japanese Soldier staring wide-eyed at him. With a scream, he tossed the head aside, covering his eyes with his hands, trembling all over. 0

"Don't come near me, don't come near me!..." 0

After about half a minute, Tie Zhu noticed that there was no movement and slowly opened his eyes to look around. The Japanese Soldier's head lay discarded nearby, and the ground was soaked with blood. Tie Zhu felt as if everything before him was drenched in red. 0

He let out a long sigh of relief and hurriedly wiped his face, but the blood smudges only spread further. 0

Using the bayonet, he cut off a large piece of fabric from the Japanese Soldier's uniform. His stomach churned as the decapitated body continued to bleed. Just a slight movement of his eyes would frighten him with the horrific sight. 0

In a panic, he took all the bullets and items from the Japanese Soldier. He slung the soldier's sniper rifle over his shoulder and wrapped the severed head in the fabric before heading downstairs. 0

As soon as he stepped onto the stairs, Tie Zhu suddenly remembered that there were two tripwires here. 0

Carefully avoiding the Japanese Soldier's tripwires once more, Tie Zhu reached the first floor. He paused to think for a moment, then pulled out a grenade and threw it into the stairwell. He feared that if any of his comrades accidentally triggered a wire while entering, it would be disastrous, so he detonated both tripwires. 0

The sounds of gunfire outside were growing closer. Tie Zhu rushed out of the house, followed by loud explosions—three orderly blasts echoed behind him. 0

"I need to hurry and take Shunliu Brother's body away; the enemy is coming soon. I can't leave Shunliu Brother out here like this." 0

Running quickly to the location where Wang Shunliu fell, the closer Tie Zhu got, the more he couldn't control his emotions. When Tie Zhu stood beside the body, he once again became a person filled with tears. 0

"Shunliu Brother, I have avenged you!" 0

Tie Zhu knelt beside Wang Shunliu's body and cried out loud. 0

"I need to hurry, the gunfire is getting closer!" 0

While saying this, Tie Zhu helped lift Wang Shunliu's body and placed it on his back. 0

Tie Zhu was very weak, and with two guns and various other items on him, carrying Wang Shunliu felt like he was about to be crushed. After taking a couple of deep breaths, Tie Zhu adjusted Wang Shunliu on his back and began to move forward step by step, each step feeling extremely heavy. 0

"Shunliu Brother, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. If I hadn't fallen asleep and had gone out with you, you wouldn't have died. I'm sorry, Shunliu Brother!" 0

As Tie Zhu carried Wang Shunliu, he kept apologizing, blaming himself for Wang Shunliu's death. 0

If he hadn't fallen asleep earlier, he could have gone out with Shunliu Brother, and Shunliu Brother wouldn't have died. Because as long as Shunliu Brother was alive, he could rush out to face death himself and turn back time; then Shunliu Brother wouldn't have died! 0

Unknowingly, Tie Zhu had discovered the magical power within himself. 0
