It was already past five in the afternoon when Ji Yuan stepped out of the research lab. His phone vibrated twice.
Ji Yuan answered the call. "Hello, brother~ have you thought carefully about whether you forgot to do something today?"
Based on his years of experience dealing with this Little Fairy, Ji Yuan knew he couldn't show any signs of guilt at this moment.
"No, the meeting at the company just dragged on, and I just got out. I was about to come pick you up," Ji Yuan said, trying to sound casual while quietly instructing his assistant nearby, ensuring the person on the other end could hear him. "Hey, Xiao Cen, can you help me deliver this to Room 314? Thanks a lot; I'll treat you to dinner next time."
"Hey, Xiao Xiao, just sit at the airport for a bit. If you're hungry, grab something to eat. I'll be there in half an hour."
Ji Xiao Xiao sensed her cousin's 'busyness' and pouted, deciding to be understanding for once. "Hmm, it's fine. If you're too busy, just give me your address and I'll take a taxi to your place."

Her long, straight, and fair legs were fully exposed, catching the attention of several young men who couldn't help but steal glances at her from time to time. The girl slightly raised her hand and looked around, clearly searching for someone.
