In the Cave, silence reigned as Wang Yi was enveloped in a thick layer of mist, his figure hazy and indistinct, as if he were in a dream.
"Break."
The word was uttered, sounding like Thunder, shattering the tranquility of the Cave. A figure leaped from the ground with incredible speed, resembling lightning.
"Fifth Layer."
A smile crept onto Wang Yi's lips as he clenched his fists. A cracking sound echoed from his knuckles, and he felt an overwhelming surge of power coursing through him. At that moment, he felt like a volcano ready to erupt.
With a swift movement, his agile form danced as his fists swung, creating a sound that sliced through the air. Suddenly, five fist shadows appeared in the air, and the airflow was pulverized; then Wang Yi thrust his hands forward, his iron arms surged like two dragons diving into the sea, creating massive waves that filled the Cave.
At that moment, a rumbling sound erupted from the tightly shut stone door, drowning out Wang Yi's punches, followed by a radiant red light casting its glow.
Shi Qian looked at Wang Yi, who was throwing punches like a shadow, and smiled, "Wang Shidi is indeed a diligent person."
"Has half a month really passed?" Wang Yi exclaimed in surprise. In this place devoid of sunsets and sunrises, he hadn't felt time passing at all.
"Yes! Why does Shidi still want to stay here?" Shi Qian chuckled.
"Time truly flies in the mountains; I thought not much time had gone by," Wang Yi sighed.
"Wang Shidi..." Shi Qian hesitated for a moment while looking at Wang Yi, appearing as if he wanted to say something but held back.
"What is it? Does Brother Shi have something to say?" Wang Yi laughed heartily at Shi Qian's hesitance. "A man should speak his mind!"
"Wang Shidi, do you know why you were locked in Purgatory Cave?" Shi Qian hesitated again before deciding to reveal the truth to Wang Yi.
"Is there more to this story?" Wang Yi asked curiously.
"It is like this..." Shi Qian told him everything about why he was imprisoned in the Purgatory Cave.
Upon hearing this, Wang Yi was astonished and furious, feeling a storm of emotions within him. He had unknowingly become a tool for Zhao Shanyu to sow discord between Chu Yixuan and Li Gang.
It turned out that after Xie Biao was defeated by him, he felt resentful and sought out Elite Disciple Wang Zhou to teach Wang Yi a lesson. However, Wang Zhou was actually a pawn hidden by Zhao Shanyu within the Li Gang Sect. To incite trouble between Li Gang and Chu Yixuan, Wang Zhou informed Enforcement Elder Li Jianren about Wang Yi breaking Chen Cheng's arm, hoping to provoke Niu Meng's anger and have him confront Li Gang, as everyone knew the relationship between Niu Meng and Wang Yi.
Wang Zhou succeeded. Upon learning that Li Gang had framed Wang Yi, Niu Meng immediately went to Li Gang to cause a ruckus. But Li Gang had their defenses in place and informed Niu Meng that the informant was Wang Zhou. Niu Meng, though reckless by nature, could distinguish right from wrong. He initially intended to beat up Wang Zhou for Wang Yi but was taken aback when Wang Zhou publicly refused Niu Meng's challenge in front of all the Outer Sect Disciples, shouting that it was he who had informed on Wang Yi and that if anyone should challenge him, it should be Wang Yi himself. If Wang Yi had the guts, he should come find him!
Niu Meng was furious but Wang Zhou refused to accept his challenge. Thinking of his brother being framed, Niu Meng, in his anger, agreed to take on Wang Zhou's challenge on behalf of Wang Yi. Upon hearing this, a bitter smile crept onto Wang Yi's face. Did Niu Meng not realize that with his own strength, he was no match for Wang Zhou? Fortunately, he had broken through to the Fifth Layer; otherwise, he would have been beaten into a pulp by Wang Zhou.
Seeing that Wang Yi remained silent for a long time, Shi Qian assumed he was frightened since Wang Zhou was a formidable martial artist. He then comforted him, saying, "Wang Shidi, why don't you just refuse this challenge?" After all, Shi Qian and everyone else believed that Wang Yi was still at the Fourth Layer and did not hold high hopes for this match.

Wang Yi looked at the excited Niu Meng and smiled bitterly, "Do you think I could be doing well?"
"Well then, did that bastard bully you? I'll help you beat him up," Niu Meng said angrily.
"Stop with the nonsense! Do you remember what you promised me before you left?" Wang Yi chided with a smile.
"I know! You told me not to act impulsively after coming out," Niu Meng scratched his head in confusion and said, "What's wrong? I'm just following your advice." He wore an expression that was quite perplexing.
"What do you mean by accepting Wang Zhou's challenge for me?" Wang Yi glared at Niu Meng.
"Ah! I originally wanted to teach that guy a lesson for you, but he absolutely refused and only accepted your challenge, so I had no choice but to agree," Niu Meng replied with a smile.
Wang Yi was speechless for a moment, then shot Niu Meng a fierce glare, wishing he could give him a good beating.
Niu Meng, facing Wang Yi's terrifying gaze, felt a chill run down his spine and scratched his head, wondering, "Big Brother, you won't blame me, will you?"

"Okay! Big Brother, go rest up for tomorrow's fight!" Niu Meng shouted before disappearing in a flash.
