"Alright." Many people come here to drink, and there are many like Lan Baobao. The bartender just needs to satisfy the customers' needs.
The cups in front of Lan Baobao keep increasing, and she is continuously drinking. Lan Baobao doesn't know what's wrong with her; she clearly came to get drunk, but she just can't seem to get intoxicated. She doesn't know if it's because her alcohol tolerance is high or if the bar's drinks are fake. Normally, if she were drinking this much, she would have been tipsy long ago, yet at this moment, her face is already flushed.
But no matter what, her heart still longs for Ye Zixun's shadow. The more she drinks, the more Ye Zixun's image appears in her mind. However, Lan Baobao truly doesn't want to think about anything else; she just wants to focus on her drink. Her mood becomes increasingly chaotic, and there is no drunkenness to relieve her sorrows.

Now Li Xiaoran realizes that things must not have gone well today; otherwise, there wouldn't be such a situation. If everything had gone smoothly, Lan Baobao would have called her earlier with a smile, saying everything was fine. But now Lan Baobao is crying on the other end of the line amidst noise. Li Xiaoran knows that Ye Zixun must have bullied Lan Baobao again.
"Xiaoran, please come keep me company." Lan Baobao really wishes Li Xiaoran were by her side so she could cry it all out. Maybe she should find a place to eat a lot; perhaps that would help relieve her frustration since she just can't seem to get drunk right now. It can't just be soda, and now Lan Baobao is in a bad mood again, so she didn't drink much.
"Mm mm mm, Lan Baobao, where are you now? I'm coming to find you." Li Xiaoran really needs to teach Ye Zixun a lesson. Seriously, this has happened time and again. Even if Lan Baobao can endure it, Li Xiaoran can't take it anymore.

"Mm mm mm." Then Li Xiaoran supported Lan Baobao out of the bar and headed to a park nearby.
The two kept wandering around the park but couldn't find anywhere that could truly lift their spirits. It seems that when you're in a bad mood, everything appears gray, and nothing feels uplifting. Everything seems bothersome and annoying.
"Li Xiaoran, you know, I was waiting for Ye Zixun at the café across from his company earlier, and before long, I saw him." Lan Baobao decided to tell Li Xiaoran everything that happened this afternoon. Maybe sharing would lighten her mood. "Enough already! I think I've really reached the end with Ye Zixun." In truth, Lan Baobao wanted to retaliate against him because of Li Xiaoran's personality, but she didn't want that. What she wanted now was to calm herself down quickly and stop thinking about Ye Zixun. She truly wanted to forget him and not continue feeling hurt because of him.
Li Xiaoran looked at Lan Baobao and knew that she didn't want her to confront Ye Zixun. Even if she did go after him, there would be no solution. However, Li Xiaoran was determined to find Mu Jiangfeng and Gu Feng to help Lan Baobao vent her frustrations; that way they would have enough strength to deal with Ye Zixun.
But Li Xiaoran understood that Lan Baobao would definitely not allow that. If Lan Baobao really wanted to forget Ye Zixun this time, it might actually be a good thing; at least she wouldn't get hurt anymore. Perhaps what Li Xiaoran should do now wasn't to create trouble for Ye Zixun but rather to help Lan Baobao forget him.
"Come on, Lan Baobao, stop this already! It's just a Ye Zixun; he's not worth it. Remember how well we lived before we met him? Why does having Ye Zixun change everything? We should continue living freely, right?" Li Xiaoran understood her friend's struggles but felt powerless. All she could do was helplessly watch Lan Baobao and comfort her. The only thing Li Xiaoran thought she could do now was accompany her friend to clear her mind.
"I know, Xiaoran, but life is full of unpredictable events. Even with Ye Zixun, I never thought I would truly fall for this man. You all know how much he changed my life; it's been turned upside down because of him. But I fell in love—at first, I didn't even realize my feelings for him. Slowly though, I came to understand them. But did I realize too late? Is there really no way to salvage this? Maybe I've never been worthy of Ye Zixun from the start?" Lan Baobao knew that her past mistakes had caused problems for Ye Zixun, but back then she hadn't even understood her own heart.
