The Snow Maiden stood quietly to the side, her stunning features covered in ice and snow, yet her cold, clear eyes took in everything happening before her.
She gave a slight nod, acknowledging the actions of Su Mu and the man in black as they obtained the Millennium Ice Lotus. However, she quickly shifted her tone, saying, "Indeed, the Millennium Ice Lotus is yours for now, but this is merely the beginning. To truly acquire the Tianshan Snow Lotus, you must pass through three challenges I have set."
"The first challenge tests whether you possess enough courage."
As her words fell, the previously calm ice field suddenly trembled violently, revealing a deep chasm emanating waves of chilling air right before everyone.
The chasm resembled a gaping maw, seemingly ready to swallow anyone who dared to approach it.
"Jump into this chasm and successfully cross over to reach the next challenge," the Snow Maiden's voice remained as cold as frost, devoid of any emotional fluctuation.
Faced with such a perilous challenge, Su Mu and the man in black couldn't help but gasp in shock.
They knew that this chasm was unfathomably deep; once they leaped down, they might face an irreversible fate—life and death were completely unpredictable.
At that moment, without any hesitation, the man in black gritted his teeth, his gaze resolute as he stepped forward and then leaped into the abyss, his body vanishing into the endless darkness.
Seeing his companion's bravery and decisiveness, Su Mu felt a flicker of anxiety but took a deep breath and mustered his courage to jump after him.
In an instant, the biting cold wind howled around him like a raging demon, and Su Mu felt as if he were a falling leaf plummeting into an endless abyss.
Time passed second by second; all that surrounded him was cold and darkness. The unknown fear threatened to shatter his will completely.
He had no idea how long it had been when despair began to settle in. Finally, his feet touched solid ground.
Regaining his composure, he found that the man in black was already waiting there unharmed.
"Congratulations on successfully passing the first challenge—the test of courage!" Accompanied by a clear and melodious voice, the Snow Maiden's graceful figure slowly appeared above them.

With a soft "click," the once-closed stone door slowly opened, and a faint light streamed through the crack.

The fiery red lava contrasted sharply with the surrounding icy layers, creating an extraordinary spectacle of ice and fire.
On the other side of the bridge stood the Snow Woman in her flowing white robes, elegant and poised. Beside her bloomed a pure white Tianshan snow lotus, exquisite and dripping with beauty—a rare treasure that everyone longed for.

Su Mu and the man in black slowly approached the edge of the bridge, their gazes fixed on the surging magma below, a wave of unease washing over them.

As Su Mu continued to advance, the cracking sounds of the ice bridge grew louder and more ominous, as if it could shatter completely at any moment.
Simultaneously, waves of scorching heat from the boiling magma below surged upward like a ferocious beast opening its gaping maw, attempting to swallow anyone on the bridge whole.
At that moment, Su Mu felt his heart racing uncontrollably, each powerful beat echoing like a hammer against his chest as if it might burst forth at any second.
Despite this turmoil within him, he gritted his teeth and suppressed his fear and anxiety, resolutely moving forward step by step.
Finally, after enduring countless trials and tribulations, Su Mu reached the center of the precarious ice bridge.
But just then, without warning, the entire bridge suddenly shook violently as if gripped by an invisible giant hand! Caught off guard, Su Mu stumbled and lost his balance, teetering dangerously close to falling into the molten lava below.
In a moment of desperation, he quickly reached for a nearby railing and grasped it with all his might to steady himself, narrowly avoiding disaster.
After regaining his footing, Su Mu didn't have time to wipe the beads of sweat from his forehead. He took a deep breath, gathered his courage, and carefully stepped forward toward the opposite shore.
At that moment, a clear and melodious voice, slightly ethereal, floated through the air: "Your sincerity is enough to move the heavens and the earth." Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw a beautiful woman in a white dress standing gracefully not far away; it was the Snow Woman.
Her enchanting eyes sparkled with appreciation, radiating warmth and comfort like the winter sun.
Under the gaze of the Snow Woman, Su Mu successfully traversed the remaining distance without incident, reaching the other end of the ice bridge and standing before her.
The Snow Woman gently raised her delicate hand, revealing a crystal-clear white lotus flower that emitted a faint fragrance—without a doubt, it was the rare Tianshan Snow Lotus!
With a slight bow of her head, she extended the Tianshan Snow Lotus toward Su Mu and said softly, "You are the heir of Tiangong Valley; this Tianshan Snow Lotus rightfully belongs to you." Su Mu's face lit up with excitement as he quickly extended his hands to respectfully receive this invaluable gift.
At that moment, his heart was filled with immense gratitude.
He understood that this seemingly ordinary lotus held profound significance. It not only represented an extraordinary treasure rare in the world but also symbolized the Snow Woman's high recognition of his personal abilities and sincere heart.
