The Ice Crystal Tiger resembled a moving iceberg, its massive body leaving onlookers in awe.
This colossal creature not only possessed astonishing power, but what was even more terrifying was the biting cold that accompanied its every attack, as if it could penetrate one's very bones and instantly freeze a person into a lifeless ice sculpture.
Faced with such a fearsome opponent, Su Mu and the man in black understood that any misstep could lead to their demise. Therefore, both were fully focused and exerting all their strength.
The man in black gripped his shimmering sword tightly, his arm muscles taut. With a sudden swing, the sword light sliced through the air like lightning, unleashing a fierce sword aura that rushed straight toward the Ice Crystal Tiger.
Unfortunately, the tiger's tough and rugged fur was like impenetrable armor; even though the sword aura was powerful, it merely left a few shallow scratches on its body without inflicting any substantial damage on the beast.
Meanwhile, Su Mu skillfully employed his extraordinary medical techniques.
He deftly extracted slender silver needles, accurately piercing various acupuncture points on his body to awaken the endless potential hidden within.
At the same time, he moved with grace and agility, darting through the battlefield like a wraith, executing marvelous techniques gleaned from the remnants of the Medical Canon he had studied, skillfully maneuvering around the Ice Crystal Tiger.
The Ice Crystal Tiger was now thoroughly enraged. It opened its massive jaws and let out deafening roars of fury.
Then, it swung its gigantic claws—sharp as scythes—down onto the hard ground. In an instant, sand and stones flew, and snow swirled violently, creating an extremely powerful blizzard that swept across the area.
Caught in the eye of the storm, Su Mu and the man in black had no choice but to rely on their agility to dodge left and right, struggling to survive in this life-and-death crisis.
"We can't keep this up! We need to find a way to discover this guy's weakness!"
The man in black gasped for breath while fiercely defending against the Ice Crystal Tiger's relentless attacks, shouting loudly.
Standing nearby, Su Mu nodded gravely in agreement with his companion's assessment.
He gazed intently, his eyes sharp as a hawk, fixated on the massive beast before him, its body entirely encased in a glistening layer of ice. He concentrated deeply, observing every subtle movement, leaving no trace of a potential weakness unnoticed.
After a thorough examination, Su Mu finally made a discovery.
It turned out that this seemingly formidable Ice Crystal Tiger, despite its extraordinary attack power capable of easily tearing through solid rock, was relatively slow in its movements.
Additionally, Su Mu noticed another detail—its eyes appeared to be particularly sensitive to bright light.
"Look! It's its eyes!" Suddenly, Su Mu exclaimed with excitement as if he had stumbled upon a new world. "If we focus our fire on its eyes, we might just turn the tide of this unfavorable battle!" Upon hearing Su Mu's words, the man in black who had been struggling against the Ice Crystal Tiger suddenly came to a realization.
Without wasting a moment, he seized the opportunity, quickly pulling a flashbang from his pocket and hurling it unhesitatingly towards the tiger's glimmering eyes.
In an instant, the flashbang arced through the air, striking the Ice Crystal Tiger's eyes with pinpoint accuracy.
A deafening explosion followed, accompanied by an intense light that erupted like the sun, illuminating the entire ice forest as bright as day. The sudden burst of light caused the Ice Crystal Tiger to emit a piercing cry of agony.
Simultaneously, its once agile form became sluggish due to the severe injury to its eyes, clearly unable to launch attacks with the same grace as before.
"Now's our chance! We can't let this opportunity slip away!" Seeing the situation shift dramatically, Su Mu decisively shouted to remind the man in black beside him.
The two shared an unspoken understanding and simultaneously unleashed their most skilled techniques in a furious assault against the wounded Ice Crystal Tiger…
The man's sword energy poured down like a torrential rain upon the Ice Crystal Tiger, finally carving deep wounds into its flesh.
Su Mu used silver needles to seal the tiger's acupoints, restricting its movements.
The Ice Crystal Tiger struggled in agony, but it was too weak to resist any longer.
Finally, it collapsed with a thunderous crash.
After the Ice Crystal Tiger fell, the Ice Crystal Forest returned to silence, with only the howling cold wind echoing through the valley.
Su Mu and the man in black let out a sigh of relief; the fierce battle had left them utterly exhausted.
"We won," Su Mu said, his voice tinged with fatigue.
The man in black nodded. "Yes, we did."
They slowly approached the massive corpse of the Ice Crystal Tiger, crouching down to examine it carefully and thoroughly.
After a comprehensive and in-depth investigation, they finally confirmed that this ferocious Ice Crystal Tiger had completely lost all signs of life.
At that moment, Su Mu suddenly exclaimed, "Look! Something over there seems to be shining!" He pointed in a certain direction as he spoke.
Hearing Su Mu's shout, the man in black quickly stood up and scanned the surroundings with heightened alertness.
Soon, his sharp gaze fixed on the center of the Ice Crystal Forest. There stood an enormous ice crystal, towering like a mountain into the clouds, its entire surface glistening and transparent, emanating a faint chill.
"Could that... could that be the legendary Tianshan Snow Lotus?" The man in black stared wide-eyed, murmuring in astonishment as he pointed at the massive ice crystal.
Filled with curiosity and anticipation, the two hurried towards the mysterious giant ice crystal.
When they finally approached, they were able to see the scene within the ice crystal clearly.
At the core of the ice crystal, there bloomed a lotus flower, pure white as snow and flawless in appearance.
It quietly unfolded there, resembling a graceful and ethereal fairy, exuding a gentle and pleasant fragrance.
However, upon closer inspection, they were astonished to discover that this lotus was not the Tianshan Snow Lotus, but an even rarer and more precious Eternal Ice Lotus.
"That means we've successfully passed the test set by the Snow Maiden!" Su Mu couldn't contain his excitement and cheered joyfully.
The man in black beside him appeared much more composed. He nodded slightly in agreement, then carefully extended his hands, attempting to extract the Eternal Ice Lotus from the ice crystal.
Given that this Eternal Ice Lotus was extremely precious and fragile, any misstep could damage its roots or petals; thus, the man's movements were exceptionally gentle and slow.
After much effort, he finally succeeded in retrieving the Eternal Ice Lotus intact from the ice crystal and gently placed it into a specially prepared container.
Looking at the Eternal Ice Lotus safely preserved before him, he let out a long sigh of relief and smiled at Su Mu, saying, "Yes, we did it."
Su Mu nodded. He knew they were one step closer to their goal.
Yet he also understood that their journey was not over; more challenges awaited them ahead.
