After the massive body of the Snow Wolf crashed to the ground, the Ice and Snow Abyss finally returned to a state of tranquility.
However, the biting cold wind continued to roar mercilessly, like a pack of ferocious beasts howling in abandon.
Fluffy white snowflakes fell gently from the sky, resembling goose feathers, as if draping the entire world in a silvery cloak.
At this moment, Su Mu and the mysterious man in black both felt an overwhelming sense of fatigue wash over them.
The intense battle they had just endured had drained them of a significant amount of precious energy. The man in black, breathing heavily, said, “Let’s take a moment to rest.”
Thus, the two sought out a corner that could somewhat shield them from the raging winds. They sat down cross-legged on the ground, closed their eyes, and began to adjust their breathing, attempting to quickly restore their energy and stamina.
Just then, an eerie and chilling song suddenly floated in from afar.
The melody was both melodious and haunting, sometimes soaring high and passionate, other times low and mournful, reminiscent of a nightingale lamenting in the dark night, imbued with a sense of sorrow and grievance.
This peculiar song echoed throughout the vast expanse of the Ice and Snow Abyss, transforming the already silent and cold atmosphere into something even more sinister and terrifying.

The haunting melody gradually drew closer, becoming increasingly clear.
Each note felt like a piercing cold wind that penetrated Su Mu and the man in black's bodies, causing them to shiver involuntarily.
An indescribable chill surged forth like a tidal wave, instantly engulfing them both.
“We must be extra cautious!” the man in black warned in a low voice. His expression was serious and alert. “This Ice and Snow Abyss is fraught with unknown dangers; one misstep could lead to utter ruin.”
The two individuals reacted to the sound, quickly rising to their feet and gripping their weapons tightly, like warriors preparing to enter the battlefield.
They moved forward with determined yet cautious steps, slowly making their way toward the source of the singing. Despite having no idea what awaited them ahead, a deep sense of mission drove them onward.
For there lay not only the Earth Spirit Herb that could save countless lives but also crucial clues regarding the sealed Heavenly Medical Codex and the mysteries of their own identities.
As they drew closer, the song grew increasingly clear and resonant, like an enchanting melody echoing in their ears, relentless and captivating.

Out of nowhere, a figure as white as snow slowly emerged from the swirling snowflakes.
The figure was slender and graceful, light as a willow swaying in the breeze; her long black hair flowed freely in the wind, resembling a celestial being descending from the heavens.
Dressed in a flawless white robe that billowed elegantly, she seemed to merge seamlessly with the surrounding snow.
"Who goes there?" Seeing this scene, the man in black's expression darkened; his eyes widened as he shouted out.
However, in response to his question, the mysterious white figure appeared oblivious, remaining silently suspended in mid-air. Then came a long sigh from her direction—an ethereal sound that was both mournful and plaintive, sending chills down their spines.
Beside him, Su Mu and the man in black were both startled; an inexplicable fear surged within them.
The eerie figure before them appeared far from human; it resembled a ghost from the underworld.
"You... are you a person or a ghost?" Despite the fear gripping his heart, Su Mu forced himself to suppress his panic and mustered the courage to ask.
Yet the white figure remained indifferent to their question, slowly raising a pale, delicate hand and gently pointing towards the depths of the icy abyss.
Seeing this, Su Mu and the man in black hurriedly gazed in the direction indicated by the figure.
In the distance, deep within the endless expanse of snow, stood a towering mountain peak, heavily blanketed in ice and snow.
This mountain soared into the clouds, piercing the sky, its majestic presence becoming even more pronounced amidst the raging blizzard.
Just as they were marveling at this sight, the white figure suddenly let out an ear-piercing, mournful scream.
The scream shattered the silence of the air, echoing through the heavens like a night owl's cry or a wailing specter, sending chills down their spines.
With that scream, the white figure vanished like a ghost into the howling wind and snow, leaving no trace behind as if it had never existed.
Su Mu and the man in black exchanged glances, filled with confusion and dread.
What secrets lay hidden behind this strange song, this mysterious spirit, and this snow-covered mountain?
