As the night fell like a massive black curtain, it enveloped the entire world in darkness.
Su Mu held a dimly glowing oil lamp, cautiously making his way through the shadows, embarking alone on the path to the Liu Family ancestral grave.
This graveyard was located on the back mountain of the small town, surrounded by desolation and silence. The only sound was the whispering of the wind as it rustled through the leaves, resembling a murmur from the underworld, adding an even more chilling atmosphere to the already eerie surroundings.
With the detailed guidance recorded in the "Heavenly Secrets Medical Codex," Su Mu finally found the gravestone of Liu Qingqing's mother after much effort.

He slowly crouched down and opened the lid of the hidden compartment. Upon closer inspection, he found an old wooden box inside.
With a heart full of unease, Su Mu took a deep breath and resolutely opened the box.
In an instant, two items caught his eye—a yellowed letter and a smooth, lustrous jade pendant.
Su Mu unfolded the letter, which read: “Qingqing, I’m sorry, my dear. I can no longer be by your side.
You must take good care of yourself and trust no one, especially…”
The last few words of the letter had been torn off, leaving them unreadable.
Su Mu picked up the jade pendant and examined it closely.
