For two days, he meticulously studied the original text over and over again. It was clearly some form of writing, unlike the ever-changing "Xuan Tian Decision." Shaking his head, he realized he would have to wait for Xiao Hei to awaken and see if he recognized this strange script. He had let his imagination run wild regarding what state Xiao Hei would be in upon awakening—perhaps transformed into a handsome and mighty Qilin, or even able to take human form.
The scorching Lava illuminated this underground world, and the spiritual energy around the island began to converge towards Xiao Shan. The flowing spiritual energy created a faint breeze in the air, which gradually intensified over time. Standing outside the Cave, he could distinctly feel the movement of the wind. This breeze brought a hint of coolness to the silent and sweltering Xiao Shan. However, at that moment, Mo Wen had no mind to appreciate the refreshing air; his gaze was fixed on the distance as he sensed the changes around him. The commotion caused by Xiao Hei's transformation seemed far greater than he had imagined. Yet, this process was slow, and because of that, worry was etched across Mo Wen's face.
Atop the mountain, he blended into the surroundings. It wasn't an intentional disguise but rather due to how dirty he had become; he could hardly remember the last time he had bathed. His hair was matted with sweat, forming small braids, and his clothes had long since turned black. Initially uncomfortable, he had grown accustomed to it; there was no choice. Although he had brought water and replenished some during previous explorations, water was a scarce resource in this underground world.
As the wind grew stronger, after ten days it became noticeably cooler. Based on the passage of time and changes in wind speed, Mo Wen deduced that the amount of spiritual energy required for Xiao Hei's transformation far exceeded what he had needed to break through to the Qi Binding Realm. Moreover, it seemed that this was only the beginning. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and enveloped Xiao Shan with his Divine Perception. Further away lay traps he had set; once triggered, they would explode—not deadly but enough to serve as a warning.
In the center of the cave, cracks began to appear in the stone blocks as spiritual energy from outside seeped in through these fissures. The flow of spiritual energy within the cave grew increasingly intense, gradually forming a Fire Tornado centered around the stone. Even further away from the cave, more spiritual energy began to converge towards the island.
Watching the spiraling vortex of spiritual energy surrounding Xiao Shan, Mo Wen knew that a critical moment was approaching. He couldn't help but wonder what realm Xiao Hei would break through with such an immense amount of energy; even if he reached an extraordinary level or higher, it wouldn't create such a commotion. Sitting cross-legged on the ground, his newly forged knife lay flat across his legs. In the distance, several Demon Beasts appeared; they had been lurking nearby for days now. It seemed inevitable that a battle between man and beast would ensue. However, Mo Wen paid little attention to these Demon Beasts; his real concern was for the exploration team.
In the center of the massive cyclone within the cave, brilliant light began to emanate from the cracks in the stone. The light grew stronger as the rotation speed of the spiritual energy vortex increased. Eventually, it pierced through the Magic Circle and shone out from an opening in the Cave. The entire Xiao Shan resembled a furnace radiating light everywhere. Accompanying this was violent tremors as stones began to fall from the mountainside. Sensing that something was amiss, Mo Wen leaped down from the mountain and retreated toward another side of the island.
