Mo Wen examined the Blood Crystal piece by piece, his mouth nearly stretching to his ears. Although he hadn't obtained the Divine Crystal, he was already content. The Divine Crystal had its advantages, and the Blood Crystal certainly had its own benefits. At the very least, if any issues arose, resolving them would be much simpler than with the Divine Crystal, especially since the solution was already planted in his Square Inch World. With the Blood Crystal in hand, he no longer needed to worry about cultivation resources for his Ning Shen Realm. If he could absorb such a massive Blood Crystal and still not reach the peak of his realm, he would undoubtedly be the greatest Ning Shen Realm monster in existence.
After tinkering with his designs in the Cave for several days without progress, Mo Wen found himself preoccupied with thoughts of cultivation. If he was going to cultivate, he needed to properly arrange things on the island. He dug holes in the rocks and buried mechanisms that he had prepared in advance. This was his own invention; while densely arranging Magic Circles on the island would be the most effective method, he didn't have enough Magic Circles at his disposal. Moreover, while Magic Circles were useful, they were also easily detectable. According to Elder Zhu, many adventurers entering the Lava Sea carried devices to detect Magic Circles in search of ancient Sect treasures. Mechanisms were mostly made from various materials and would inevitably succumb to long-term erosion from lava. For him, it didn't need to last long—just a year or so would suffice. Weighing all factors, this type of mechanism was indeed the best: simple, effective, and cost-efficient.
"After a hearty meal, it's time to begin." In his mind, clouds began to gather as before during his previous sessions of cultivation. This time, however, the clouds above were blood-red and more intense than before. Blood rain started to fall from the clouds onto the sea surface as divine liquid began to rise gradually.

Feeling his Realm steadily approaching perfection filled Mo Wen with excitement. No wonder so many geniuses were found among powerful factions; ample resources truly accelerated cultivation speed. Suddenly, the Divine Liquid in his mind began to churn violently; it felt as if an entire ocean were boiling over. Waves surged tumultuously as an intense pain struck him like lightning. Everything went black before he completely lost consciousness.
"What happened..." It was unclear how long later when he awoke on the ground with a throbbing headache. Struggling to sit up and rubbing his temples, he tried to recall everything that had happened before—after much effort, all he remembered was cultivating and then being struck by an excruciating pain; everything after that was a blur.
