Luna took a deep breath, her small chest filled with determination.
She knew that the words she was about to speak would be like a stone thrown into a calm lake, stirring up tumultuous waves.
In order to change her family's destiny, to escape the fate of the Magic Castle's destruction, she had to bravely unveil the layer of hypocrisy.
“Madam,” Luna's youthful voice trembled slightly but was remarkably firm, “there are things I must tell you that concern the future of the Magic Castle and your happiness.”
Aelia sat elegantly on the sofa in the living room, savoring her cup of tea.
Upon hearing Luna's serious tone, she set down her teacup, her delicate brows arching slightly, and her azure eyes filled with confusion. “Luna, what’s wrong? You seem so serious.”
Luna approached Aelia, her small hands tightly clenched together. She looked up, meeting Aelia’s gaze with her clear eyes. “Madam, Leonard… he has betrayed you.”
The air seemed to freeze instantly, and time came to a standstill.
Aelia's smile faded, and the teacup in her hand halted mid-air.
Her beautiful blue eyes were filled with shock and disbelief.
“What did you say?” Aelia's voice trembled as if she could hardly believe her ears. “Luna, do you know what you're saying? How could Leonard betray me?”
Luna understood that this truth was undoubtedly a thunderbolt for Aelia.
She took a deep breath, striving to steady her voice. “Madam, I know this is hard to believe, but it is true. Leonard… he has a concubine.”
“Impossible! This cannot be!” Aelia suddenly stood up, the teacup in her hand crashing to the floor and shattering into pieces.
Red tea splattered everywhere, resembling her broken heart.
She shook her head excitedly, her beautiful face contorted with shock and anger. “Leonard loves me! How could he do something like this? You must be mistaken, Luna! You must be mistaken!”
Luna knew that Aelia needed time to accept this cruel reality.
She said nothing more, simply watching her in silence, waiting for the eruption of her emotions.
“No! I don’t believe it! I don’t believe it!” Aelia covered her face, shaking her head in anguish.
She could not accept this fact—that the husband who had once been so gentle and caring towards her could build a love nest with someone else.
It was a complete denial of the feelings she had invested over the years.
“How could he do this to me? I’ve given him so much, given so much to Magic Castle! How could he hurt me like this?” Aelia’s voice was filled with despair and sorrow, tears streaming from her eyes like broken pearls.
Qin Si watched anxiously from the side, wanting to comfort her but unsure of what to say.
She knew that for Aelia, this was not just a betrayal by her husband; it was the collapse of her beliefs.
Luna stood quietly, observing Aelia's suffering with a heart full of sympathy.
She understood that what Aelia needed now was not just comfort but also the courage to face reality.
“Madam,” Luna approached Aelia gently, taking her hand softly. “I know you are very sad right now, but you cannot remain immersed in grief. You must stand up bravely for yourself and for your family.”
Aelia lifted her head, looking at Luna through tear-filled eyes.
She couldn’t understand how such a small child could speak such mature words.
“Luna, how… how do you know all this?” Aelia’s voice was somewhat hoarse, filled with questions.
Luna knew she could not reveal the truth.
She could only speak vaguely, "My lady, I... I just heard it unintentionally."
Aelia did not press her further, taking a deep breath to steady herself.
"Alright, I understand," Aelia said, wiping away her tears. "I will handle this."
Luna looked into Aelia's determined eyes, her heart filled with hope.
She knew Aelia was not a weak person; she would surely seek justice for herself and her family.
"My lady," Luna said firmly.
Aelia nodded, remaining silent.
She stood up and walked to the window, gazing at the overcast sky outside.
Her heart was filled with anger and resolve.
Leonard, how dare you betray me!
I will never let you get away with this!
The atmosphere became tense and charged. How would Aelia deal with Leonard's betrayal?
What future awaited the Magic Castle?
Everything was shrouded in uncertainty.
“Qin Si,” Aelia suddenly spoke, her voice cold and resolute. “Go summon Lucius.”
Qin Si paused for a moment, then quickly understood Aelia's intent.
She knew a storm was about to erupt at Magic Castle.
“Yes, my lady,” Qin Si replied respectfully, turning and striding out.
Luna stood beside Aelia, watching her determined son with a glimmer of anticipation in her eyes.
She understood that this was merely the beginning; the fate of Magic Castle was firmly in Aelia's hands.
Hopefully, it was not too late.
A gust of wind blew through, stirring the hem of Aelia's dress and the destiny of Magic Castle.
“Mother, you called for me?” Lucius entered the room and asked respectfully.
Aelia turned to face her son.
“Lucius,” Aelia's voice trembled slightly, yet it was filled with strength. “There are some things I need to tell you…”
