Qin Si felt as if she was suffocating. 0

The air in the room seemed to have been sucked away, leaving only Young Miss Luna's eyes, which appeared to see through everything. They sparkled like two tiny stars, radiating a light that was impossible to gaze upon directly. 0

She was just a maid, an ordinary maid responsible for taking care of Young Miss's daily needs. Why did she feel such immense pressure? 0

Just a few months ago, she thought of this Young Miss as nothing more than a cute little baby. Her daily tasks involved making her laugh, feeding her, and lulling her to sleep. 0

But ever since Luna began to speak, especially after that night when she unintentionally overheard Young Miss talking to the lady in a tone that sounded far too mature for her age, everything changed. 0

Young Miss's gaze was too sharp, as if it could pierce through all the secrets buried deep within her heart. 0

“Qin Si,” Luna's voice was soft, like a feather brushing against her eardrum, yet it exploded in her mind like thunder. “You seem a bit distracted lately.” 0

Qin Si hurriedly knelt down, her body trembling. “Young Miss, I wouldn’t dare! I have always done my utmost to take care of you, never neglecting my duties!” 0

“Is that so?” Luna’s voice carried a hint of amusement as she extended her chubby little hand to gently stroke Qin Si’s hair. “I remember that I wanted Stardust Candy yesterday, but it seems you forgot to buy it.” 0

Cold sweat instantly soaked Qin Si’s back. 0

Stardust Candy could only be purchased at specific shops in the Magic Castle and was available in limited quantities each day at a high price. 0

Young Miss had merely mentioned it casually yesterday; she thought that being a child, Luna might forget about it soon enough. 0

But unexpectedly... 0

“Forgive me, Young Miss! I am at fault! I will go buy it right away!” Qin Si wished she could slap herself for being so forgetful! 0

“No need,” Luna interrupted her, a mysterious smile appearing on her little face. “I already had Brother Lucius help me buy some. However, Qin Si, you must remember that the power of magic is everywhere. It can create delicious candies and also…” 0

Luna did not continue, but Qin Si felt a chill shoot from her feet straight to her head. 0

She knew that Young Miss was warning her; magic was powerful, and she, Luna, possessed that power. 0

"I understand! I will remember Young Miss's teachings!" Qin Si lowered her head even further, wanting nothing more than to escape this room and the suffocating gaze of Young Miss. 0

At that moment, a commotion erupted from outside the window. 0

Qin Si lifted her head and looked through the window, where the entire Glorious Demon Fortress had transformed. 0

The once solemn gray stone walls were adorned with colorful ribbons, and various uniquely shaped Magic Lanterns swayed in the air, emitting a soft glow. 0

Red auspicious symbols covered the walls, windows, and even the ground, with golden Magic Ink inscribing various blessings of good fortune. 0

The entire Magic Castle was immersed in a festive atmosphere. 0

"What is this..." Qin Si wondered. 0

"Brother San is getting married," Luna's voice floated softly, "the whole Magic Castle is celebrating for him." 0

Qin Si suddenly understood. 0

Indeed, Third Young Master Lucius was getting married; this was a significant event for the Magic Castle. 0

It was said that the bride was a princess from a distant land, possessing a powerful Magic Bloodline, making her a perfect match for Lucius. 0

Just then, a figure appeared in the sky above the Magic Castle. 0

Aelia, the Lady of the Fortress at Glorious Demon Fortress, floated gracefully in a magnificent Magic Robe, holding a gem-studded magic wand in her hand. 0

She hovered in mid-air with a kind smile on her face, her voice amplified by magic resonating throughout the entire Magic Castle. 0

"May the God of Light bless our Lucius, may the god of happiness favor this couple, and may the future of Glorious Demon Fortress be even more glorious!" 0

With Aelia's Blessing, countless colorful Magic Beams shot from her wand, falling like raindrops, each beam infused with powerful Blessing energy. 0

The entire Magic Castle was bathed in this radiant light, filled with joy and hope. 0

Qin Si watched in a daze. 0

She had never seen such a beautiful sight, nor felt such immense Magical Power. 0

At that moment, a sound of footsteps approached. 0

Several uniformed servants walked over, carrying a large box. 0

The box was wrapped in red silk and tied with a golden bow, looking extremely valuable. 0

"What is this?" Qin Si asked curiously. 0

"This is the betrothal gift being sent to the bride's family," one of the servants replied proudly. "It is filled with various precious magical items, all personally selected by the Lord of the Fortress." 0

Only then did Qin Si notice that more servants were coming from different directions, each carrying boxes of varying sizes, all elegantly wrapped in fine silk, appearing quite expensive. 0

The entire Magic Castle seemed to have transformed into a massive gift warehouse, bustling with activity and filled with a festive atmosphere. 0

"Such extravagance," Qin Si couldn't help but exclaim. 0

Luna, however, curled her lip, seemingly uninterested in the lively scene. 0

"Qin Si, I'm hungry," Luna suddenly said. "Let's go see what’s good to eat in the kitchen." 0

Qin Si didn’t dare to delay and quickly carried Luna toward the kitchen. 0

Inside the kitchen, it was just as busy. 0

The chefs were busy preparing a variety of delicious Magical Snacks, and the air was filled with an enticing aroma. 0

Luna's eyes lit up instantly as she pointed to a tray filled with exquisite treats, excitedly exclaiming, "I want that one, that one, and that one!" 0

Qin Si smiled helplessly; the Young Miss truly was a little glutton. 0

She picked up a uniquely shaped pastry and handed it to Luna. 0

Luna eagerly took a bite, her face lighting up with satisfaction. 0

Qin Si couldn't help but grab a piece for herself and popped it into her mouth. 0

"Wow, this is delicious!" Qin Si exclaimed in surprise. 0

These pastries were not only beautifully crafted but also had a distinctly unique flavor. They melted in the mouth, rich in aroma, and contained a hint of Magical Energy that left one feeling refreshed. 0

As Luna and Qin Si enjoyed their snacks, they watched the bustling kitchen scene, completely losing track of time. 0

It wasn't until night fell that Qin Si carried the already asleep Luna back to their room. 0

After placing Luna on the bed and covering her with a blanket, Qin Si finally let out a sigh of relief. 0

Today had been exhausting; she felt as if she had gone through a great battle. 0

After a quick wash-up, Qin Si lay down on the bed. 0

She closed her eyes, her mind replaying everything that had happened that day. 0

The Young Miss's warning, the festivities at the Magic Castle, the lady's blessing, and those delicious Magical Snacks... 0

Before she knew it, Qin Si drifted off to sleep. 0

In her dream, she arrived at a mysterious place. 0

All around her were floating colorful light spots, and soft music echoed in her ears, while a faint floral scent filled the air. 0

Suddenly, a figure appeared before her. 0

It was a tiny sprite, with transparent wings, sparkling eyes, and a delicate face. 0

"Who are you?" Qin Si asked curiously. 0

"I am the Magic Fairy," the Little Sprite replied. "I have come to tell you a secret..." 0

Before Qin Si could ask what the secret was, the Little Sprite vanished. 0

Qin Si jolted awake from her dream. 0

She opened her eyes to find that it was already bright outside. 0

Sitting up, she recalled the scenes from her dream, filled with confusion. 0

Why did the Magic Fairy want to tell her a secret? 0

What could this secret be? 0

She had a vague feeling that this secret might change her destiny. 0

At that moment, Aelia's room was brightly lit. 0

She sat upright in her chair, with the Third Son, Lucius, standing before her. 0

"Lucius, this marriage is crucial for our Magic Castle," Aelia began slowly, her tone carrying a hint of seriousness. 0

“Mother, I understand,” Lucius replied respectfully. 0

“That's good to hear,” Aelia nodded. “After the wedding, I plan to entrust some of the Magical Affairs of our family to your wife…” Aelia's room was filled with a faint Lavender Scent, a fragrance that could soothe nerves and help one concentrate better. 0

The Crystal Chandelier cast a soft glow, illuminating the exquisite furniture and decor within the room. 0

Aelia sat in a mahogany chair intricately carved with Magic Runes, her fingers lightly tapping the armrest, producing a crisp sound. 0

Lucius stood before her, his tall and upright figure casting a long shadow in the light. 0

He wore a deep blue Magic Robe, embroidered with a silver Star-Moon Pattern, making him appear particularly handsome. 0

Yet, there was a hint of worry etched on his brow, as if something weighed on his mind. 0

“Lucius,” Aelia's voice was as clear and pleasant as a nightingale, “this marriage is crucial for our Magic Castle. I hope you understand that your wife is not just your partner but an important member of our family.” 0

“Mother, I understand,” Lucius said, lowering his head, his tone tinged with a barely perceptible sense of loss. 0

He understood what Mother meant; this marriage was more about the family's interests than his personal happiness. 0

“That's good to hear,” Aelia's tone softened slightly. “After the wedding, I plan to entrust some of the Magical Affairs to your wife. Her family has made significant contributions to the research in the Magic Circle, and I believe she can bring new strength to our Magic Castle.” 0

At this, Lucius suddenly lifted his head, surprised by Mother's decision. 0

The family's Magical Affairs had always been managed by core family members, and now Mother intended to hand over part of that power to an outsider. 0

He opened his mouth as if to say something but swallowed his words instead. 0

He knew that Mother must have her reasons for doing this. 0

“I know you might feel uncomfortable about this,” Aelia seemed to see through his thoughts. “But you must trust that my actions are for the future of Magic Castle. Your wife possesses strong Magical Talent and wisdom; she is capable of handling this responsibility.” 0

Lucius fell silent for a moment, then took a deep breath and said, "Mother, I understand. I will do my best to cooperate and contribute to the future of Magic Castle alongside my wife." 0

Seeing her son so understanding, Aelia's face broke into a relieved smile. 0

She reached out and patted Lucius's thin shoulders, saying, "You've grown up, Lucius. I'm glad to see you so mature." 0

"Mother," Lucius hesitated for a moment before voicing his concern, "aren't you worried about my life after marriage? I..." 0

"I know what you're worried about," Aelia interrupted him. "You're concerned that you won't be able to forget her, right?" 0

Lucius remained silent, merely nodding in acknowledgment. 0

Aelia sighed and said, "Lucius, matters of the heart are unpredictable. But you must remember to let the past be the past. You have a long road ahead of you. Your wife will be a good partner and a good mother. You need to cherish her." 0

"Mother, I..." Lucius wanted to explain but didn't know where to start. 0

"I know that you and she once shared beautiful memories," Aelia's voice softened. "But that is already in the past. Now, you need to begin a new life." 0

"Mother, I have moved on," Lucius lifted his head. "I will cherish my marriage and give my wife a happy home." 0

Hearing her son say this, Aelia finally felt at ease. 0

She knew that her son had stepped out of the shadows of the past and was starting anew. 0

"That's good," Aelia smiled with relief. "I believe you will be happy." 0

Lucius smiled back, his expression filled with hope and anticipation. 0

"Well then, it's getting late. You should go rest," Aelia said. 0

"Yes, Mother." Lucius bowed respectfully and turned to leave the room. 0

Aelia watched her son's silhouette, her heart filled with emotion. Her son had finally grown up. 0

She rose and walked to the window, gazing at the brilliant starry sky outside, silently praying for the God of Light to bless her son, wishing him eternal happiness and joy. 0

In the room, Aelia was alone. She stood quietly by the window, lost in thought. 0

Suddenly, she heard a faint sound. 0

"Who’s there?" she asked, alert. 0

Qin Si tiptoed into the kitchen, cradling Luna in her arms. 0

No matter how festive the atmosphere outside was, nothing compared to the satisfaction of a full belly. 0

Moreover, the Young Miss's orders were more binding than any Magic Contract. 0

The kitchen was bustling with activity, filled with the aroma of Cedar Fragrance. 0

Various uniquely shaped Magical Snacks lined the long dining table, like soldiers awaiting inspection. 0

Luna's eyes instantly lit up as she pointed to a colorful Candy Tower. "Qin Si, I want that one! The one on top!" 0

Qin Si smiled helplessly; this little one truly had a sweet tooth. 0

She tiptoed and finally reached the top of the Candy Tower, grabbing a Star-shaped Candy and placing it in Luna's hand. 0

"Thank you, Qin Si!" Luna exclaimed eagerly, biting into it. The candy melted on her tongue, its sweet flavor spreading instantly, making her squint her eyes in delight. 0

Qin Si couldn't resist picking up a beautifully crafted Mooncake and popping it into her mouth. 0

The cake melted instantly, its rich Milk Fragrance accompanied by a hint of mint, prompting a satisfied sigh from her. 0

“Hmm, this is delicious! These Magical Snacks truly live up to their reputation!” Qin Si exclaimed sincerely. 0

As the two enjoyed their treats, they watched the bustling activity in the kitchen, completely losing track of time. 0

Suddenly, Luna pointed under the table and whispered, “Qin Si, let’s hide down here while we eat. That way, no one will notice us!” 0

Qin Si paused for a moment, then nodded with a smile. 0

The Young Miss was truly childlike at heart, coming up with such a fun idea. 0

So, the two of them quickly agreed and stealthily crawled under the table. 0

The space beneath the table was cluttered with various Ingredients and kitchen tools, dim and cramped. 0

But for Luna and Qin Si, it felt like a secret paradise. 0

They sat side by side on the floor, munching on snacks while chatting softly, occasionally stifling giggles. 0

This sneaky feeling made everything seem especially thrilling and enjoyable. 0

“Qin Si, look at this!” Luna held up a heart-shaped cookie proudly. “This is my favorite shape!” 0

“Really? Then you should cherish it; who knows when you’ll see another one after you eat it,” Qin Si teased with a smile. 0

“Hmph, not a chance! When I grow up, I’ll move the entire Magic Castle kitchen into my room so I can have endless snacks every day!” Luna declared with her chin held high. 0

Qin Si burst into laughter at her enthusiasm, finding the Young Miss utterly adorable. 0

Just as they were having a great time eating, a voice suddenly rang out above them: “I say, what are you two Little Ones doing hiding down here?” 0

Luna and Qin Si jumped in surprise and quickly looked up to find Lucius standing beside the table, grinning at them. 0

“Brother San!” Luna exclaimed in surprise, quickly getting up from the ground and rushing into Lucius's embrace. 0

“Xiao Luna, you’re getting more mischievous by the day, learning to hide here and sneak snacks,” Lucius said with a smile, playfully tapping Luna’s nose. 0

“I wasn’t sneaking! I just wanted to share some delicious treats with Sister Qian Si!” Luna pouted, responding with dissatisfaction. 0

“Alright, alright, not sneaking, just sharing,” Lucius chuckled and shook his head. He then turned to Qin Si and asked, “Qin Si, what were you thinking? How could you be fooling around with Young Miss? If Mother finds out, she’ll surely punish you both.” 0

“Third Young Master Lucius, please forgive me. I just thought it would make Young Miss happy…” Qin Si said somewhat shyly. 0

“It's fine; I’m not blaming you,” Lucius waved his hand dismissively. He picked up a delicate piece of cake from the table and handed it to Qin Si. “This cake was specially prepared for you. Give it a try.” 0

“Thank you, Third Young Master Lucius!” Qin Si quickly accepted the cake, her heart filled with gratitude. 0

“No need to mention it,” Lucius replied with a smile, then looked at Luna. “Xiao Luna, Brother San has to leave now. You must be good and take care of yourself.” 0

“Brother San is going far away to take care of important matters,” Lucius gently stroked Luna’s head as he spoke. 0

“When will Brother San come back?” Luna asked eagerly. 0

“I’ll be back very soon,” Lucius said with a smile. “When I return, I’ll bring you some fun gifts.” 0

“Okay!” Luna clapped her hands happily and reluctantly bid farewell to Lucius. 0

After Lucius left, Qin Si carried Luna back to their room. 0

As night fell, Qin Si lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. 0

The events of the day kept swirling in her mind. 0

The warning from Young Miss, the festivities at the Magic Castle, the tenderness of Third Young Master Lucius… and that mysterious dream. 0

She finally fell into a drowsy sleep, though she couldn't tell how long it had been. 0

In her dreams, she found herself once again in that mysterious place. 0

It was still filled with floating colorful light spots, soft music echoed in her ears, and a faint floral scent lingered in the air. 0

She wandered aimlessly, unsure of where she was headed. 0

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared before her. 0

It was the Magic Fairy she had seen in her dream during the day. 0

"You've finally come," the Magic Fairy said, her voice still gentle and ethereal. 0

"Who are you? Why did you bring me here?" Qin Si asked, puzzled. 0

"I am the guardian spirit of this forest. I brought you here to reveal a secret," the Magic Fairy replied. 0

"What secret?" Qin Si pressed on. 0

The Magic Fairy did not answer directly but instead pointed ahead with her finger. 0

Following her gesture, Qin Si looked forward and saw a dense forest emerging before her. 0

The forest was filled with all sorts of oddly shaped trees, their branches adorned with shimmering fruits. 0

"This is the Magical Forest, where endless magical power resides," the Magic Fairy said. "However, this forest is also fraught with danger. Only those with pure hearts can gain its recognition." 0

"I..." Qin Si felt somewhat at a loss; she didn't understand why the Magic Fairy was telling her all this. 0

"You possess a pure heart, but your mind is filled with confusion and uncertainty," the Magic Fairy continued. "You need to find your direction in order to truly unleash your potential." 0

"What should I do?" Qin Si asked, bewildered. 0

"You need to make a choice," the Magic Fairy said. "Will you continue to be an ordinary maid, or will you bravely pursue your dreams?" 0

Qin Si fell silent. She didn't know how to choose. 0

"Remember, your choice will determine your Destiny," the Magic Fairy said, and her figure began to blur. 0

"Wait! You haven't told me..." Qin Si anxiously reached out to grab her, only to find her hand passing through the Fairy's body. 0

"I..." She watched as the Magic Fairy's figure completely vanished, filled with loss and confusion. 0

"Who are you?" a voice suddenly rang out. 0

Qin Si turned around sharply to see a figure standing behind her. 0

It was a man dressed in a black Magic Robe, his face obscured by a silver mask, making it impossible to discern his expression. 0

Qin Si looked at him in terror, instinctively stepping back. 0

"Don't be afraid, I won't harm you," the Black-Robed Man said, his voice deep and hoarse. 0

"Who... who are you? Why are you here?" Qin Si stammered, her voice trembling. 0

The Black-Robed Man did not answer; he merely fixed her with a cold gaze. 0

"What... what do you want?" Qin Si felt a wave of fear wash over her. She turned to flee but found her feet seemingly nailed to the ground, unable to move. 0

"Answer my question," the Black-Robed Man said slowly, his voice carrying an enchanting quality that made Qin Si feel dizzy. 0

Qin Si gritted her teeth, fighting to stay awake. She knew she couldn't let him control her. 0

“I... I don’t know who you are, and I don’t know what you’re doing here,” Qin Si said, her voice trembling fiercely. 0

The Black-Robed Man let out a cold laugh and slowly raised his hand, revealing a black dagger in his grasp. 0

“It seems you have no intention of cooperating,” the Black-Robed Man said, his voice dripping with menace. 0

Despair washed over Qin Si as she closed her eyes, knowing she had no way to escape. 0

Just when she thought she was about to die, a voice suddenly rang in her ear: “How dare you, Demon, cause trouble here!” 0

Accompanied by this voice, a golden light descended from the heavens, striking the dagger in the Black-Robed Man’s hand. 0

The dagger shattered with a loud crack, and the Black-Robed Man let out a scream as his body was sent flying backward. 0

Qin Si opened her eyes to see an elderly man in a white robe standing before her, holding a Golden Dust Whisk in his hand, his face radiating righteousness. 0

The old man turned to her with concern and asked, “Are you alright?” 0

Qin Si shook her head and gratefully replied, “Thank you for saving me.” 0

The old man smiled slightly and said, “No need to thank me; protecting others is my duty as a Magic Guardian.” 0

“But who is he? Why did he attack me?” Qin Si asked in confusion. 0

“He is a minion of the dark forces. They want to use you for their nefarious purposes,” the old man explained. 0

“Use me? Why?” Qin Si was even more puzzled. 0

The old man sighed and said, “Because you possess a special Bloodline. Your Bloodline contains powerful Magical Power, and they wish to exploit your strength to open a gateway to the dark world.” 0

“I... I didn’t know any of this,” Qin Si said blankly. 0

The old man patted her thin shoulders and comforted her, "It's alright. As long as you stay true to your beliefs, you won't be manipulated by them." 0

"What... what should I do?" Qin Si asked. 0

The old man smiled gently and replied, "Just go with the flow and let things happen naturally." 0

After saying this, his figure began to blur. 0

"Wait! You haven't told me..." Qin Si anxiously reached out to grab him, but found her hand passing through his body once again. 0

"Everything... just go with the flow... let it happen naturally..." The old man's voice grew fainter until it finally vanished. 0

She sat up, recalling the scenes from her dream, filled with confusion and unease. 0

Who was that Black-Robed Man? Why did he attack her? 0

And who was that old man? Why did he tell her these things? 0

Did her bloodline truly contain powerful magical power? 0

What should she do? How should she choose? 0

She felt a wave of uncertainty, unsure of whom to trust or what to believe. 0

Just then, the door suddenly swung open. 0

Luna entered, wearing a pink nightgown and rubbing her sleepy eyes. 0

"Sister Qin Si, what's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" Luna asked with concern. 0

Qin Si forced a smile and said, "It's nothing. I just had a strange dream." 0

“Strange dream? What kind of dream was it?” Luna asked curiously. 0

Qin Si hesitated for a moment but decided to share the scenes from her dream with Luna. 0

After listening, Luna didn’t feel scared as Qin Si had imagined; instead, she showed an excited expression. 0

“Sister Qin Si, your dream sounds so interesting! I want to have a dream like that too!” Luna exclaimed excitedly. 0

Seeing her innocent smile, Qin Si felt a sense of comfort in her heart. 0

Perhaps everything wasn’t as bad as she had imagined. 0

“Sister Qin Si, where are we going to play today?” Luna asked. 0

Qin Si thought for a moment and said, “Let’s go to the garden of the Magic Castle today.” 0

“Great, great!” Luna jumped up happily. 0

The two of them finished getting ready and walked out of the room hand in hand. 0

The sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze brushed against them. The garden of the Magic Castle was filled with various blooming flowers, and a faint floral fragrance lingered in the air. 0

Luna joyfully ran around the garden, chasing butterflies and having a wonderful time. 0

Qin Si sat quietly on a bench in the garden, watching her with a heart full of tranquility and joy. 0

Perhaps she should let go of her worries and truly enjoy this beautiful moment. 0

Just then, a servant hurried over. 0

“Miss Qin Si, the lady requests your presence,” the servant said respectfully. 0

Qin Si paused for a moment, unsure of what the lady wanted from her. 0

"Alright, I'll be there right away," Qin Si replied, then stood up and followed the servant out of the garden. 0

Luna watched Qin Si's departing figure, feeling a twinge of unease. 0

"Sister Qian Si, where are you going?" Luna asked. 0

Qin Si turned back to glance at her and smiled, "I'll be back soon. Just wait for me here." 0

After saying this, Qin Si left without looking back. 0

Luna stood alone in the garden, gazing in the direction where Qin Si had vanished, her heart filled with inexplicable worry. 0

She had a vague feeling that something bad was about to happen. 0

Aelia paced back and forth in her room, her expression dark and foreboding. 0

"Madam, did you call for me?" Qin Si entered the room cautiously and asked. 0

"Where were you last night?" Aelia suddenly inquired, her voice as cold as ice. 0

"I... I was in my room the whole time," Qin Si replied, a hint of panic creeping into her voice. 0

"Still lying!" Aelia roared, slamming her hand down on the table. 0

"Please forgive me, Madam! I wouldn't dare lie!" Qin Si quickly knelt down, trembling with fear. 0

"Hmph, do you think I don't know? Someone saw you sneaking out of Magic Castle last night and heading to the forbidden area on the back mountain!" Aelia said coldly. 0

"I... I didn't..." Qin Si tried to defend herself but found her voice choked with emotion, unable to speak. 0

“Still trying to argue! It seems you won’t shed a tear until you see the coffin!” Aelia was furious as she drew a whip from her waist and struck Qin Si harshly. 0

“Ah!” Qin Si let out a cry of agony, her body crashing heavily to the ground. 0

Blood stained her clothes, and she groaned in pain, careful not to make too much noise. 0

“Speak! What were you doing in the forbidden area last night?” Aelia demanded sharply. 0

Qin Si gritted her teeth, desperately suppressing the pain. She knew she couldn’t reveal the truth, or it would bring even greater trouble to Luna. 0

“I... I just... just went out to clear my mind...” Qin Si stammered. 0

“Clear your mind? Do you think I would believe that?” Aelia sneered, raising the whip again. 0

“Please, my lady! I truly just went out to clear my mind!” Qin Si pleaded, her voice filled with despair. 0

Aelia's whip came down mercilessly, striking Qin Si again and again. 0

Qin Si's screams grew weaker, and her awareness began to fade. 0

Just as she was about to lose consciousness, a voice suddenly rang out in the room: “Stop!” 0

In the room, Leonard's voice carried a hint of anger. 0

“My lady, what are you doing?” 0

Aelia halted her actions and shot Leonard a cold glance. “I’m teaching a disobedient servant a lesson.” 0

Leonard frowned as he stepped in front of Qin Si, concern etched on his face. “Are you alright?” 0

Qin Si weakly shook her head; her body had grown extremely frail. 0

“Madam, even if she made a mistake, it shouldn't warrant such harsh punishment,” Leonard said with some dissatisfaction. 0

“Hmph, the mistake she made is significant. She dared to sneak into the forbidden area on the back mountain!” Aelia replied coldly. 0

“The forbidden area?” Leonard paused for a moment, then turned to Qin Si and asked, “Did you really go to the forbidden area?” 0

Qin Si dared not speak, merely lowering her head in silence. 0

Leonard sighed and said, “Madam, even if she did go to the forbidden area, there must be a reason for it. Perhaps we should hear her side of the story first.” 0

Aelia hesitated for a moment but eventually nodded and said, “Fine, I will give her a chance to explain herself.” 0

Leonard turned to Qin Si and gently said, “You don’t need to be afraid. Just tell us everything you know; I will protect you.” 0

Qin Si looked at Leonard gratefully and slowly said, “I... I had a strange dream last night. In the dream, a spirit told me that my bloodline contains powerful magical power. I... I just wanted to see if it was true by going to the forbidden area…” 0

After hearing this, Leonard’s expression changed slightly. He fell silent for a moment before saying, “Madam, perhaps this matter is not as simple as we think. Let’s investigate further before jumping to conclusions.” 0

Aelia nodded and replied, “Alright then, let’s proceed as you suggest.” 0

With that, Aelia turned and left the room. 0

Leonard walked over to Qin Si and helped her sit up gently. “You should rest well; I will send someone to take care of you,” he said softly. 0

Qin Si looked at Leonard with gratitude and said, “Thank you, sir.” 0

Leonard smiled slightly before turning and leaving the room. 0

This left Qin Si alone in bed, filled with confusion and unease. She didn’t understand why Leonard was helping her or whether his words were true. 0

She only knew that her destiny seemed to have been drawn into a massive whirlpool. 0

As night deepened, the Magic Castle was shrouded in darkness. 0

In a secluded corner of the Magic Castle, a small room glowed with dim light. 0

Inside the room, Leonard sat face to face with a woman dressed in a black Magic Robe. 0

“How is everything going?” Leonard asked, his voice low. 0

“Everything is proceeding as planned; the maid has taken the bait,” the Black-Robed Woman replied, her voice hoarse and eerie. 0

“Good,” Leonard said with a satisfied smile. “As long as she believes us, we’ve succeeded halfway.” 0

“However, about that infant…” the Black-Robed Woman hesitated. 0

“Don’t worry; that infant is just an accident. She won’t affect our plan,” Leonard said confidently. “Once we obtain that treasure, the entire magical world will belong to us!” 0

“But if that infant truly possesses powerful Magical Power as the legends say…” the Black-Robed Woman still seemed concerned. 0

“Hmph, legends are just legends; we don’t need to believe them,” Leonard scoffed. “Even if she does have strong Magical Power, so what? As long as we are careful, she won’t discover us.” 0

“I hope so,” the Black-Robed Woman sighed. “But I can’t shake this feeling of unease. Shouldn’t we reconsider?” 0

“No more reconsideration!” Leonard interrupted her sharply, his tone turning severe. “Our plan has been in motion for so long; we can’t abandon it now! No matter how great the risk, we must persevere!” 0

“Alright, I understand,” the Black-Robed Woman lowered her head and fell silent. 0

“Remember, our goal is singular: to obtain that treasure and rule the entire magical world!” Leonard’s voice was filled with ambition and desire. 0

The Black-Robed Woman raised her head and looked at Leonard. 0

“Yes, I understand,” she said, her voice low yet resolute. 0

The cabin fell silent once more, with only the sound of their breathing echoing in the darkness. 0

At that moment, a voice suddenly called from outside the cabin, “My lord, the lady requests your presence.” 0

Leonard's expression changed slightly. He glanced at the Black-Robed Woman and said, “I understand. I will go now.” 0

With that, Leonard stood up and left the cabin. 0

The Black-Robed Woman sat quietly in her chair, uncertain of whether her choice was right or wrong, and unaware of what the future held. 0

All she knew was that she had become entangled in a vast conspiracy from which there was no escape. 0

Meanwhile, in another room, Aelia stood by the window, gazing at the pitch-black night sky. 0

Her face was filled with anger and worry, her heart heavy with conflict and struggle. 0

She didn’t know whom to trust or what to do. 0

All she knew was that the tranquility of Magic Castle was about to be shattered. 0

“My lady, you called for me?” Leonard entered the room cautiously and asked. 0

Aelia turned around, coldly fixing her gaze on Leonard. “What is your relationship with that maid?” 0

Leonard's expression shifted slightly as he hurriedly replied, “My lady, what are you talking about? How could I have any relationship with that maid?” 0

Aelia scoffed and said, “Do you think I would believe that? You care so much for her and even speak on her behalf. Can you honestly say there’s nothing between you two?” 0

Leonard quickly knelt down and declared, “My lady, I swear my feelings for you are genuine. I have no improper thoughts about that maid! I simply feel sorry for her and wanted to help.” 0

Aelia coldly looked at Leonard. 0

"Leonard, I warn you, do not deceive me, or I will make you pay the price!" Aelia said sternly. 0

Leonard quickly replied, "Madam, rest assured, I would never deceive you! I am completely loyal to you, with no ulterior motives!" 0

Aelia fell silent for a moment before saying, "Alright, I will trust you once more. However, if I discover that you dare to betray me, I will not let you off easily!" 0

Leonard hurriedly assured her, "Madam, I promise I will never betray you!" 0

Aelia nodded and said, "Okay, you may go back now; I am tired." 0

Leonard promptly responded, "Madam, please rest early as well. Good night." 0

With that, Leonard stood up and left the room. 0

Aelia was left standing by the window, gazing out at the pitch-black night sky, her heart filled with worry. 0

At that moment, Qin Si was lying in bed, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. 0

She recalled the Magic Fairy from her dreams, the Black-Robed Man, the old man, Aelia, and Leonard... 0

Her heart was filled with confusion and unease; she did not know whom to trust or what to believe. 0

All she could do was silently pray for everything to be safe and sound. 0

The night grew deeper. 0

The starry sky remained dazzling. 0

The magical forest was quiet and still, as if it were in a deep slumber. 0

In the darkness, a pair of eyes quietly opened, gazing indifferently at the world, devoid of reverence, fear, or… kindness. 0

“Why do you not kneel?” an ethereal voice echoed, yet it carried a hint of… anger that was barely perceptible. 0
