After the night ended, Haruna and Yukiho went to a bar on the corner for a couple of drinks, not returning home until one in the morning. She felt a chill running through her body, realizing she might be coming down with a fever. 0

She had already been experiencing some cold symptoms, but after drinking quite a bit that night, taking medicine didn’t seem like a good idea. So, she wrapped herself in a thick blanket and lay down in bed, hoping that sleep would alleviate some of her discomfort. 0

Just as Haruna was drifting off to sleep, her phone on the bedside table suddenly vibrated. She considered turning it off but answered immediately upon seeing the caller ID. 0

“Hello?” Haruna's voice was a bit hoarse. 0

“Hey, I’m sorry to call you at this hour. It’s Aki.” Aki's voice came through, low and urgent. 0

“I know, did another prank call come through?” When she left AKI, Haruna had exchanged phone numbers with her. 0

“It's a bit sudden, but can you come to Kamihon Park right now?” Aki’s tone carried a hint of urgency. 0

“Kamihon Park? The one under construction?” Haruna was taken aback. 0

“Actually, Fujiwara is going there to meet someone who has been threatening us. I’m on my way there now.” 0

The sound of rushing wind filled Haruna's ears as Aki continued, “It could be dangerous if you show up. Just stay nearby and watch. If anything happens, please call the police immediately.” 0

“Wait for me at the entrance; don’t go inside yet,” Haruna said quickly as she sat up in bed and started getting dressed. 0

There was no time for more instructions; her heart raced in her chest, reminding her that this was not the moment to back down. Thoughts of Okamoto filled her mind, and she felt a surge of courage. 0

She changed her shoes at the door and immediately headed towards the construction site of Kamihon Park. 0

Around nine in the morning, Aki was awakened by the noise coming from the living room. 0

Having had a nightmare during the night, she felt weak and struggled to sit up against the cushion. 0

Takashi Fujishiro was in the living room watching a live broadcast of a baseball game, with beer cans scattered around the coffee table and a bag of squid strips lying on the floor. 0

"Fujiwara, could you tidy up a bit?" Aki, dressed in a light pink pajamas, complained as she prepared to wash up, unable to ignore the messy living room. She tossed a beer can into the trash bin. 0

"I know, I know," Fujiwara replied with a playful tone as he began to clean up. The sound of sunlight streaming in felt pleasant. "Aki, hurry up; we need to go see Kazuya by noon." 0

Aki nodded, feeling an inexplicable wave of emotions at the thought of meeting Miki Kazuya. She scrubbed her face vigorously with a towel until her skin turned red. 0

Then she brought sandwiches and honey tea into the living room. The baseball game had just ended, and Fujiwara was frustrated, pounding on the table because his team had lost. 0

Aki and Fujiwara had been dating since their sophomore year in high school. Back then, Fujiwara was a key player on the basketball team; not only was he athletic, but he also excelled academically. Now in his second year of college, aside from dyeing his hair light chestnut and developing a passion for surfing, Fujiwara hadn’t changed much. His sun-kissed skin and slightly muscular build showcased his vibrant health. 0

Around eleven o'clock, Aki and Fujiwara arrived in Seiten District. 0

Miki Kazuya lived on Third Street, and they could see a wooden sign from afar that read "SA Agency." 0

Fujiwara parked the car by the roadside, went downstairs to buy some braised beef, and then followed Aki up to the second floor. 0

He could guess that today's lunch would once again be noodles. 0

Miki Kazuya wore a dark plaid shirt, and perhaps due to the lighting, his already slender frame appeared even more gaunt. His jet-black hair contrasted with his pale skin, as if he had never seen the sun. After he opened the door for Fujiwara and An, he headed straight into the kitchen. 0
