On the day I came out of the Civil Affairs Bureau, Lu Mingze drove me downstairs. Just as I was about to get out of the car, he suddenly called out to me.

"I know it might not be the right time to say this, but I really like you. Would you consider being with me?" He seemed casual about it.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know if you're serious or just joking," I replied. "But right now, I'm really not in the mood for that."
Lu Mingze smiled lightly, "Haha, I see."
"That's a pity. I was hoping to get back at Shen Mo." I felt a slight relief in my heart.
He continued to ask, "So what are your plans now? Do you have anything arranged?"
I thought for a moment and said, "I haven't been out for a while. It's a good time to clear my mind."
He scratched his head, "Sure, do you want me to accompany you?"
"Let's see. I haven't planned it out yet." I waved my hand at him. "Thanks for bringing me back. I'll be going now."
After finishing up some work with Ting Ting, I decided to take a trip to Yunnan to unwind. I wanted to see Glacier Canyon and Tropical Jungle.
To my surprise, as soon as I boarded the plane, I saw Lu Mingze sitting in the seat next to mine.
"Wow, what a coincidence! You're on this flight too?" he said somewhat awkwardly.
I was going to ask how he knew my itinerary, but then realized it wasn't that unusual. Since he had come along, it seemed pointless to be coy about it, so I decided to travel with him.

Lu Mingze was not only a food enthusiast but also a photography expert. Looking at those beautiful and high-quality photos, I carefully selected a few to share on my social media. To my surprise, I received a call from Shen Mo.
He sounded accusatory, as if he were interrogating me. "Are you with Lu Mingze?"
I replied coolly, "What does that have to do with you?"
"You think Lu Mingze is a good person? The longest any woman he’s been with lasted no more than three months."
"I don’t need your concern, Mr. Shen. Just take care of yourself."
After hanging up, I immediately blocked all his contact information. It was from that moment on that various negative comments about me began to spread rapidly online. Seeing the vile insults, Lu Mingze felt heartbroken.
He wanted to use his connections to suppress those messages entirely, but I stopped him. "Stay calm; the real show is just beginning."
If I was going to fight back, it had to be decisive. After witnessing my retaliation, Lu Mingze exclaimed how thrilling it was.
One day, I suddenly remembered what Shen Mo had said before. So I turned to Lu Mingze beside me and asked, "I heard that none of your past girlfriends have lasted more than three months?"
Lu Mingze's face was filled with shock as he pitifully replied, "This is unjust! Oh, great judge!"
"I’ve never even had a romantic relationship or an ambiguous partner in my life; I can’t bear this baseless accusation."
"Please, great one, see through this and restore my reputation!"
Seeing his expression made me chuckle. He thought I didn’t believe him and quickly changed to a serious demeanor.
He eagerly explained, "Xia Meng, I'm not lying."
"I truly like you and want to spend the rest of my life with you."
The waves gently lapped at the shore, producing a soothing sound.
