A series of questions flooded Mo Wen's mind. Despite his carefulness, he had ultimately overlooked this hidden danger. However, for now, there was only the sound and no other abnormalities. The surroundings were devoid of any activity from Demon Beasts, and with the raging winds outside, there was no way to check what was causing the noise. 0

"Sigh, my strength is still lacking." Whenever he encountered situations like this, Mo Wen felt a deep sense of hurt. This pain stemmed from the limitations of his Realm; if only he could elevate his Realm, perhaps he would have noticed the anomalies on this island. At that moment, he truly felt trapped, unable to move forward or backward. He extended his perception deep underground but found nothing. His divine sense was effective in open spaces, yet in the face of this mountain formed by solidified lava, it could only penetrate about ten feet deep. Within that depth, he discovered no irregularities; the entire mountain was tightly sealed. Despite having just endured the impact of massive waves, there were no visible cracks. 0

After exploring further with no results, he ended up exhausting himself. Once he calmed down and summarized his findings, he concluded that the reason for not identifying any issues so far was due to insufficient information. Sitting in front of the Stone Table, he refocused on the situation outside. The wind grew stronger, and the stones carried by it became larger. Mo Wen also sensed several smaller Winged Beasts being swept away deeper into the Lava Sea by the wind. 0

"Ah, I see now; careful observation is indeed necessary." Mo Wen opened his eyes with a look of realization. Although he didn't fully understand everything yet, his current insights were significantly greater than before. The lava waves crashing against the island did not always produce a deep bell-like sound; over two days, the booming noise had occurred only three times, each time coinciding with a massive wave hitting the shore. He confirmed one thing: as long as this island remained intact, both he and Xiao Hei would be safe here—at least until the storm subsided. 0

"Then I'll wait until the winds calm down before investigating further." Through these two days of observation, he had formed a hypothesis about the source of the sounds. If his guess turned out to be true, it could lead to great danger or perhaps great opportunity. Mo Wen preferred to believe in the latter since luck seemed to be on his side. 0

On a stormy night, when sleep was most inviting, he made up his mind not to focus on the outside anymore. He checked on Xiao Hei and then returned to his Cave to reinforce his Magic Circle once more before lying down and falling asleep immediately. Upon waking up, he resumed his previously paused "project"—organizing his collection. As for realizing his designs, that had been pushed aside; until he clarified his situation, it felt like sitting on a volcano's edge. 0

After reorganizing his collection, he recalled that some of the refined materials weren't perfect. So he decided to refine them again and divided them according to crafting standards. Looking at the colorful materials on the Storage Device shelves brought him great satisfaction; this round of organization had significantly increased his storage space. Next came crafting some useful items; with materials at hand, it was time to enhance both weapons and tools. 0

For two months, Mo Wen busied himself in the Cave while outside, the winds and waves gradually calmed down. A large number of adventurers would soon arrive as well; it was time for him to investigate for the safety of himself and Xiao Hei. 0
