In the distance, a new Fire Tornado was forming, and Mo Wen couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of this world. Destruction in the front, construction in the back—it perfectly illustrated the saying, "No destruction, no establishment; only after destruction can there be establishment." Mo Wen also noticed that the dome above seemed to have lowered by two or three zhang. However, at this moment, his focus was not on the changes in the surrounding environment but rather on the "treasure" sinking beneath the sea.
Due to the storm, the surrounding sea had seen a drastic reduction in Lava. In shallower areas, reefs that were originally hidden beneath the Lava were now exposed. Mo Wen knew that the Lava swept away by the storm would eventually return, and it could lead to another reverse storm. Therefore, he needed to hurry to salvage the "treasure."
Removing the Magic Circle that had provided isolation, he emerged from the cave. The Demon Beasts that had been sheltering with him were nowhere to be seen. Without a second thought, he leaped down towards the surface of the sea. As he approached the water, he released his Xing Zhou and landed steadily on it, sensing his way down towards the seabed. Fortunately, the tides had carried away hundreds of zhang of Lava. After descending just a few miles, he reached the seabed. The moment he sensed what lay below, Mo Wen's eyes lit up, but his hands did not stop moving. He set down the Beast Bone Cage and began to pull in his net. The moment the Beast Bone Cage left the Lava, Mo Wen felt as if he could hardly breathe. The light gate opened, and he poured everything from the cage into it in one go. This was a prime opportunity for salvage; sorting could wait.
After two hours of effort, Mo Wen had thoroughly cleared out the area beneath his cave entrance. Although it was called clearing, his small boat hardly moved from its spot as he salvaged multiple times. Inside his Square Inch World, a small mountain had formed—composed of materials and several Demon Beast Skeletons. These Skeletons were all at least of Jade Body Realm quality, and if they were alive, Mo Wen would have had to take a detour.
Once he finished clearing out the seabed beneath his mountain, Mo Wen set off towards another giant pillar. Based on the flow of Lava and the shape of these massive stone columns, he could accurately determine where treasures lay submerged and then retrieve them. There were even times when he personally dove into the depths for salvage.
A month later, Mo Wen had visited nearly all nearby pillars and began heading toward where the waves were crashing in. The map provided by Elder Zhu had lost much of its utility; many landmarks had been destroyed or disappeared during this wave event. However, what remained offered significant convenience to Mo Wen—now he only needed to follow his markings to locate those largest stone pillars.
After another month of exploration, Mo Wen cleared a section of sea that didn't have many targets but yielded exceptionally rich rewards. Moreover, these finds were of a higher quality than those from a month prior. It seemed his guess was correct: higher-grade materials were closer to the center. Even their raw ore purity was high; thus they sank faster than those laden with impurities.
And so, while "picking up treasures," Mo Wen continued deeper into the Lava Sea. He was eager to discover where this storm originated and what caused such a massive tempest. Meanwhile, at Huo Lou's town by Lava Sea, the scorching sea breeze grew stronger as more adventurers gathered to enter Lava Sea. Yet no one dared to venture in before witnessing waves stirred up by the storm; once they confirmed that the highest lava tide began to recede, tens of thousands would rush into the entrance.
