As he navigated the raft he had crafted, Mo Wen focused on refining the components for the Xing Zhou. He planned to create each part individually, similar to how the Li Family had constructed large supply vehicles for the Yin Qian army, and then assemble them into the desired prototype of the Xing Zhou. Although this process was more complicated, it had its advantages. Firstly, refining components separately made it easier to achieve higher quality, allowing him to eliminate flaws to the best of his ability. Secondly, if a part were to be damaged, he could simply replace it with a spare, thus avoiding the need to scrap the entire Xing Zhou due to a single issue.
After entering the Ning Shen Realm, Mo Wen discovered that he could multitask effectively; crafting artifacts had become a relatively easy task for him. Moreover, through this process, his divine essence began to increase again. Unlike before, where his divine purity had stagnated, he noticed an improvement. Initially, he attributed this change to consuming Xiu Mu, but after ingesting both the Xiu Mu and a half-box of white powder without any noticeable effects, he eventually realized that his divine essence's purity had improved due to exposure to the intense heat of lava. This revelation forced him to abandon any hopes of Xiu Mu having any significant effect.
Setting aside his work and glancing at the timer, Mo Wen noted that he had been in the Lava Sea for a year. During this time, his cultivation had nearly come to a standstill, and he still hadn’t found a suitable training ground for Xiao Hei. More importantly, the changes in Little Black Hole continued. Within the Square Inch World, Little Black Hole's influence was now threatening the entire ecosystem of this small world. Consequently, Mo Wen had no choice but to expand its range and add two magic circles to isolate it from the searing flames.
Xiao Hei's situation was beyond his understanding; he believed Xiao Hei should be absorbing surrounding Fire Spirit Power for transformation rather than spewing fire outward as it currently did. However, the flames emitted by Xiao Hei seemed different from what he was accustomed to seeing. Despite this peculiarity, Mo Wen didn’t delve deeper into studying it; he couldn’t grasp Xiao Hei’s condition but clearly remembered Old Qilin’s words.
With his crafted Xing Zhou, Mo Wen no longer feared being trapped in the Lava Sea. Although his artifact crafting skills needed improvement, with his innate talent for refining artifacts, creating a Xing Zhou based on his imagination was within reach. As for the materials needed for crafting Xing Zhou, Mo Wen wasn’t worried; while they weren't abundant in the Lava Sea, they were not difficult to obtain either. The remaining concern was about their quality. Having mastered multi-level purification methods for materials made this issue manageable. He even experimented by adding seemingly unrelated materials during the smelting process and achieved success after several attempts; the resulting materials were of significantly higher quality than before.
Mo Wen also contemplated that by refining materials in environments corresponding to their properties, he could enhance their quality without significantly increasing costs. However, such ideas would need time for verification later; at present, his most urgent task was still finding a training ground for Xiao Hei.
In this underground world lay an ocean of lava, where towering stone pillars supported a dome-like continent above them. Some of these massive pillars were dotted with caves resembling a beehive.
