"Xiangzhou, what happened to you?" Gu Yu asked, noticing his son wearing a helmet. Although the sight was somewhat comical, he couldn't afford to dwell on that at the moment and hurried over to inquire.
"This is how I look now because of Wang Tu. Dad, you came just in time; it's confirmed that Qin Xiaoya did this to me. She even said I have to give her one billion for the antidote," Gu Xiangzhou pointed at Wang Tu and explained.
Gu Yu glanced at Wang Tu, his brow furrowed. If his son had become like this, how would he face others in the future?
"President Qin, what do you mean by this? Our families have never had any grievances; treating my son like this tonight is unacceptable," Gu Yu said with a stern expression.
"I told your son not to interfere in my matters, but he insisted on getting involved. And it wasn't me who spilled the wine; your son asked me to do it," Qin Xiaoya replied with a calm smile, showing no fear.
"Qin Xiaoya, you're despicable! I asked you to spill wine, not to harm me. This isn't spilling wine; it's pouring poison!" Gu Xiangzhou shouted.
"Alright, President Qin, let's not drag this out any longer. Do me a favor and hand over the antidote; let's end this matter here," Gu Yu said coolly, his eyes reflecting an undeniable coldness.
Although Qin Xiaoya was now the president of Qin Family Group Company, she was still considered his junior by seniority. Gu Yu believed that since he had personally intervened and offered her an opportunity to back down, she should understand the situation. A standoff would benefit neither party.
"Your favor isn't enough," Qin Xiaoya replied with a chilling smile.
Gu Yu's expression darkened again as his gaze turned sharp as a knife, directed straight at Qin Xiaoya. Yet she remained unfazed, treating his murderous intent as if it were nothing.
"Qin Xiaoya, even if your father were here, he wouldn't dare disregard my favor. Do you really think that just because you've become president of Qin Family Group you are the true head of the Qin family? I still have patience to talk to you now; if I lose my patience later, don’t blame me for being rude," Gu Yu's voice was heavy and cold.
"In my eyes, the head of the Qin family isn’t anything special. Manager Gu, let me advise you one last time: parting with money to avert disaster is your wisest choice. One billion should still be manageable for the Gu Family," Qin Xiaoya said lightly, appearing unconcerned.
"Qin Xiaoya, you're indeed tough enough; no wonder your uncle can't do anything about you. However, your iron lady style doesn't work on me. I've navigated Beijing for decades; when I was making my way in this city, you weren't even born yet. You're still too inexperienced in front of me," Gu Yu sneered, suppressing his killing intent like an impending storm.
