After a long while, Mo Wen finally came back to his senses from the shock. He quickly composed himself and focused on the changes in the Void World. For about the time it takes to burn an incense stick, this world remained in a state of powerless silence.
"Is this it? What happened to the profound Kung Fu?" he muttered, unable to suppress his doubts. The silence of the void persisted.
Sitting cross-legged in the world of books, Mo Wen found himself engulfed in confusion. He had thought that after viewing the World Origin, he would be able to delve into the main topic. However, no matter how he tried to proceed, there was no response. Bored and restless, he decided to organize his thoughts. Since he could not continue, he might as well reflect on what he had learned; there must be some insights to gain.
He replayed the incredibly profound scenes in his mind over and over again. Although the images grew increasingly blurry, Mo Wen felt that his understanding of the Yin Yang Principle was deepening continuously.
"Tai Chi refers to the state before heaven and earth were separated, where primordial energy is mixed as one. From the boundless emerges Tai Chi; Tai Chi moves and gives birth to Yang. Movement leads to stillness, stillness gives rise to Yin, and extreme stillness returns to movement. One movement and one stillness are mutually rooted, dividing Yin and Yang. Observing the changes of the starry river has given me some insights, leading me to create this Kung Fu for posterity. This method is called the Xuan Tian Manual..." The voice in his mind faded away, and Mo Wen awakened from his contemplation. Upon waking, he realized he had detached from the world of books. He must have finished reading the entire Kung Fu manual, and now his memory included the Xuan Tian Manual.
He mentally flipped through the entire manual and took out a piece of Beast Skin along with a pen, laying them on the table to prepare for transcribing the Xuan Tian Manual. However, when he picked up the pen, it hovered in mid-air for a long time without coming down. Eventually, he had no choice but to put it away. It wasn't that Mo Wen didn't want to transcribe; rather, he found himself unable to begin writing. He didn’t know where to start or how to express it.
The entire Xuan Tian Manual was composed of graphic symbols—symbols he had never seen before but somehow understood. The ninety-nine symbols likely corresponded to ninety-nine phrases, yet he couldn’t figure out how to articulate them. Drawing those symbols seemed utterly impossible.
"Marvelous! Truly unfathomable, mysterious beyond mystery—the gateway to all wonders! Hahaha!" Not being able to transcribe the Xuan Tian Manual did not frustrate Mo Wen; instead, he felt joy after grasping its essence and couldn't help but laugh heartily.
After reading through the Xuan Tian Manual, Mo Wen was filled with delight; it was indeed as profound as described in the letter from Xuantian First Handsome Man—so profound that it was beyond words. Although he had invested considerable effort into obtaining the Xuan Tian method, overall it had been relatively easy for him—perhaps because of his own exceptional nature; though mainly because he hadn’t truly understood anything at all.
Such an intricate Kung Fu made Mo Wen feel an urge to start over from scratch; however, at this moment, he realized that he didn’t even have the qualification to do so. Now he understood why there had been a letter left by a sect leader previously—despite its demanding nature, there were indeed bold individuals in this world. Those who were daring would not be low-key people; thus, it made sense that Xuantian Sect had always passed down its teachings solely within its ranks while accumulating many rivals. After all, outstanding individuals tend to attract jealousy; in time, he too would face envy.
Mo Wen failed to notice that ever since leaving Old Lu's place, he had begun to feel a sense of "inflation." Of course, this "inflation" only occurred when he was alone; when out in public, he remained humble. Yet it was hard to blame him for feeling inflated—anyone with such fortune would likely feel the same way.
