Azure Blood Sword Soul 6: First Battle

In an encounter with a swarm of small flying creatures, I found myself nearly trapped. They were numerous and as swift as lightning, leaving me with multiple injuries. In a moment of crisis, I utilized the mist of the Abyssal Valley to conceal my form while reflecting sunlight with my sword to confuse their vision. After a fierce battle, I finally managed to drive them away. 0

As night fell, I lit a fire in a cave. In the flickering light, I examined my wounds, yet my heart remained unusually calm. Though these crises had left me physically and mentally exhausted, they had also sharpened my will and swordsmanship. I understood that only by overcoming such challenges could I truly grow. 0

That night, I sat quietly in the cave, adjusting my breathing to recover my strength. I closed my eyes, feeling the essence of the Abyssal Valley, merging myself with this land. I knew that tomorrow's journey would be even more arduous, but I was ready to face greater challenges. 0

Unbeknownst to me, deep within the Abyssal Valley on a moonlit night, a group of cloaked figures stealthily arrived at Sword Heart Valley. They seemed familiar with the valley's mechanisms and easily bypassed the sect's defenses, cutting their way into the valley. 0

The disciples within the valley rushed to confront them, resulting in heavy casualties. My master led the disciples into battle as both sides engaged in a breathtaking clash. 0

Suddenly, my master lunged forward with his sword towards the lead masked figure, a surge of sword energy piercing towards the enemy's vital points. The clash of swords rang out as my master entered into fierce combat with the cloaked figure. Sword lights flickered and energies clashed as they exchanged blows in an intense struggle. The black-clad warrior's swordplay was ruthless and precise, each strike filled with lethal intent. 0

In this battle, while my master's techniques were exquisite, the cloaked figure's skills were unfathomable, matching his every move. It seemed they were well-acquainted with Sword Heart Valley's techniques and targeted my master's weaknesses relentlessly. 0

The two swords intertwined like two dragons spiraling in the air; each clash sent shivers through those watching. Just as the fight reached its peak, my master sensed that the cries of battle around him were fading away—his heart sank as he realized that the disciples were on the verge of defeat. 0

In one final fierce exchange, my master lost his focus and was caught off guard by the black-clad figure. A sword energy pierced through his chest. 0

He collapsed into a pool of blood, his eyes filled with hatred and unwillingness as he gazed at the cloaked figure. "Who are you? We of Sword Heart Valley have remained hidden from the world for years without enmity; why kill us so cruelly? What is your purpose?" 0

"Ha! Look at me," the cloaked figure said as he pulled down his mask and laughed arrogantly. "After all these years, you haven't forgotten me, have you? Do you remember when you expelled me from Sword Heart Valley? I lived like a dog outside." Mo Wuhen's face twisted with hatred. 0

"I've returned to reclaim what rightfully belongs to me—the Azure Blood Sword! I am its true master." 0

My master spat blood and glared at Mo Wuhen with disdain. "You were corrupt at heart; though recognized by the Azure Blood Sword as its master, you used it to cultivate dark arts and harmed the martial world, forcing Sword Heart Valley into seclusion. The retrieval of Azure Blood Sword and your expulsion from Sword Heart Valley were justly deserved." 0

Little did he know that my master's mercy in sparing him back then had led to this day’s outcome. 0

With a twisted expression filled with rage, Mo Wuhen thrust his sword towards my master, ending his life. 0
