Interestingly, the fruit of Bai Xu is not the carrier for its reproduction, much like many plant-type Chimeras, which remain a mystery in terms of their reproductive methods. When the main body of Bai Xu is eliminated or bears fruit, the transparent filaments that absorb soul power hidden within living beings will also vanish. Bai Xu blooms on the night of the full moon, sheds its flowers on the next full moon, and bears fruit on yet another full moon. This means that it takes two months from blooming to fruit ripening. After the flowers of Bai Xu fall, each flower will produce a White Fluff Fruit. The number of these fruits that ultimately mature depends on how much soul power those filaments absorb and transmit back. The White Fluff Fruit serves as an excellent cultivation material that can enhance Shen Hun and assist in cultivating both Refining Spirit Realm and Ning Shen Realm.
