The principal led the two through the campus, and along the way, students cast admiring glances at them. Nezha felt somewhat uneasy; he was used to being looked at with fear or disdain, and this admiration left him at a loss.
"Nezha! Ao Bing!" A familiar voice called out. The two turned to see Captain Li and Zhao Lei approaching.
Zhao Lei jogged over, looking a bit awkward. "I... I want to apologize for my previous behavior. I shouldn't have excluded you because of your 'Demon Orb' status, nor should I have questioned your abilities. Your performance proves that one cannot judge a hero by their background."
Nezha was momentarily unsure how to respond. In the past, he might have mocked Zhao Lei with a retort like, "Now you realize your mistake? It's too late," but now he simply nodded calmly. "It's okay, I understand. Anyone would have doubts facing a label like 'Demon Orb.'"
Zhao Lei smiled gratefully. "Thank you for your understanding. By the way, on behalf of the Magic City University Soccer Team, I’d like to invite you back. Everyone is eager to play soccer with a hero."
Nezha smiled slightly. "Sure, I'll definitely join if I get the chance."
After bidding farewell to Zhao Lei, the principal continued leading Nezha and Ao Bing forward. As they passed the library, Lin Yuqing—a girl from the Music Department who had feelings for Ao Bing—was coming out with a book in hand. Upon seeing Ao Bing, she paused for a moment before quickly walking over.
"Ao Bing! You're back!" Lin Yuqing said with a bright smile. "Congratulations on defeating the enemy and saving the world!"
Ao Bing politely nodded. "Thank you, but most of the credit goes to Nezha."
Lin Yuqing glanced at Nezha, her eyes revealing an understanding. "You two..."
Nezha generously draped an arm around Ao Bing's shoulder. "Yes, we're together now."
Lin Yuqing looked a bit disappointed but managed a forced smile. "Congratulations! You make a great couple."
Ao Bing kindly added, "Thanks for understanding. By the way, is the invitation to the Music Salon still open? Nezha and I would love to attend."
Lin Yuqing's eyes lit up. "Of course! You’re welcome anytime!"
As they watched Lin Yuqing leave, Nezha couldn't help but ask, "Do you really want to go to the Music Salon?"
Ao Bing nodded with a smile. "Why not? You know I love playing the piano. Plus, I think we should participate in more social activities so that people can truly understand us instead of just seeing us as 'heroes' or 'saviors.'"
Nezha hesitated. "But I'm completely clueless about music."
Ao Bing gently squeezed his hand. "It's okay; I can teach you. Music is actually quite simple—just like soccer; it’s all about feeling."
The principal brought them to the front of the student dormitory and smiled as he said, "According to school regulations, you were supposed to live separately in the Boys' Dormitory, but considering your special circumstances, we've arranged a special Double Room for you both—it's more spacious and better equipped than regular dorms."
Nezha looked at Ao Bing in surprise. "Did you hear that? We can continue living together!"
Ao Bing shook his head helplessly, though he couldn't suppress a smile. "I hope you'll stick to the Co-habitation Agreement this time and not leave your clothes lying around again."
Just then, a familiar figure approached—Aunt Taiyi, the enthusiastic staff member from the Dormitory Office. Upon seeing Nezha and Ao Bing, she hurried over and enveloped them in a big hug.
"My dear children, you're finally back!" Aunt Taiyi exclaimed excitedly, her eyes shimmering with tears of joy. "I've been so worried these past few days!"
Nezha smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, Aunt Taiyi. The incident happened so suddenly that I didn't have time to inform you."
