As the days passed, Nezha increasingly felt the absence of Ao Bing. No one greeted him softly in the morning, no one waited for him in the library, and no one played beautiful melodies in the Piano Room... Those once-familiar scenes had now faded into mere memories. 0

Nezha tried to distract himself with busyness—attending classes, training, preparing for coaching exams... But no matter what he did, the emptiness in his heart lingered. The most painful part was that he didn’t even know when Ao Bing would return—would it be months, years, or... would he never come back? 0

A week later, the Crystal Pendant exhibited unusual behavior again. In the middle of the night, Nezha was jolted awake by a sudden intense heat, discovering that the crystal was flashing violently, emitting a dazzling blue light. He immediately realized that Ao Bing might be in some kind of danger or trouble. 0

“Ao Bing? Ao Bing? What’s wrong?” Nezha called out anxiously, but the crystal continued to flicker without any response. 0

Desperate and restless, Nezha didn’t know how to help Ao Bing, who was far away in the Dragon Palace. He tried to concentrate and channel his energy into the crystal, hoping to provide some support and strength to Ao Bing through this means. 0

After what felt like an eternity, the brilliance of the crystal finally began to calm down and returned to normal. Nezha let out a long sigh of relief, but his heart remained heavy with worry. What kind of trouble had Ao Bing encountered? Was he safe now? These questions pierced through Nezha’s mind like sharp thorns, causing him deep anguish. 0

The next day, Nezha rummaged through various books about the Dragon Tribe in the library, hoping to find some useful information. However, most of the books were either overly academic or filled with myths and legends, making it difficult to discern what was real and what was fictional. 0

Just then, a familiar voice came from behind him: “Looking for information on the Dragon Tribe?” 0

Nezha turned around to see Shen Gongbao standing by the bookshelf, holding an ancient text with a knowing smile on his face. 0

“Professor Shen,” Nezha greeted warily. Although Shen Gongbao had lost his demonic powers, he still felt uneasy and couldn’t fully relax his guard. 0

“No need to be tense,” Shen Gongbao smiled. “I just came to borrow some materials. Seeing you so focused made me want to say hello.” 0

Nezha nodded but didn’t say much more. However, Shen Gongbao showed no intention of leaving; instead, he sat down across from Nezha and scrutinized him carefully. 0

"Has Ao Bing returned to the Dragon Palace?" Shen Gongbao suddenly asked. 0

Nezha was taken aback, unsure how to respond. After losing his demonic powers, Shen Gongbao seemed less detestable, but Nezha still wasn't sure if he could trust him. 0

Seeing Nezha hesitate, Shen Gongbao shook his head. "There's no need to be on guard; I’m just concerned. Ao Bing is the hope of the Dragon Tribe, and his safety is tied to their future." 0

"He left a week ago," Nezha finally replied, "saying there were some issues within the Dragon Tribe that needed his attention." 0

Shen Gongbao nodded thoughtfully. "As expected. There have always been different factions and interest groups within the Dragon Tribe, and during this special period, conflicts are more likely to arise. As the heir, Ao Bing will inevitably become the focal point of contention." 0

Nezha's heart tightened. Could Ao Bing be in danger at the Dragon Palace? The thought made him clench his fists. 0

"Do you know about these situations?" Nezha asked anxiously. "Can you tell me more? Is Ao Bing in danger?" 0

Shen Gongbao looked deeply at Nezha, seemingly assessing his true intentions. Finally, he spoke softly, "The affairs of the Dragon Tribe are complex and dangerous, but Ao Bing is not defenseless. As the son of the Dragon King, he possesses great strength and wisdom, capable of facing various challenges. You need not worry too much." 0

This answer did not completely alleviate Nezha's concerns, but it at least provided him with some comfort. Ao Bing was indeed powerful and intelligent; he should be able to handle the internal issues of the Dragon Tribe. 0

"If there’s any news," Nezha hesitated for a moment before asking, "could you let me know?" 0

Shen Gongbao smiled slightly. "Of course. If I receive any news about Ao Bing, I will inform you immediately. However, Nezha, I hope you can focus on your studies and future. Ao Bing has chosen his path; you should also steadfastly walk your own. That way, when you meet again, you can stand proudly before each other." 0
