The old man smiled, a glimmer of wisdom shining in his eyes. "This is a question many young people face. Parents always hope their children will take a stable path because they have experienced the hardships of life and understand the harshness of reality. But young people want to pursue their passions and dreams, which is perfectly understandable." 0

"What should I do then?" Nezha asked, pressing for an answer. 0

The old man pondered for a moment before responding, "Do you know why I come here every morning to practice Tai Chi Sword?" 0

Nezha shook his head, confused by the sudden shift in topic. 0

"Because it was my dream when I was young—to learn martial arts and become a Martial Arts Coach. But in those days, my family was not well-off, and I had to give up that dream to work in a factory as an ordinary worker to support my family." There was a hint of nostalgia in the old man's voice. "It wasn't until I retired that I had the time to revisit that dream. Now, I practice Tai Chi every day and occasionally teach young people in the community. Although it came a bit late, at least I have no regrets." 0

Nezha nodded thoughtfully, beginning to grasp the old man's meaning. 0

"You see, young man, dreams are important, but reality cannot be ignored," the old man continued. "Perhaps you can try to find a balance—neither completely giving up your dream nor entirely disregarding reality. For instance, you could follow your father's advice and try that job while continuing to play football and participate in coaching training during your spare time. When the conditions are right, you can transition. This way, even if you don't become a professional coach in the end, you won't regret it because you've given it your all." 0

A light bulb went off in Nezha's mind; this advice made perfect sense. He had always viewed the issue as an either-or choice and had never considered a compromise. 0

"Thank you, Grandpa," Nezha said sincerely. "Your advice has opened my eyes." 0

The old man chuckled and patted Nezha on the shoulder. "Remember this: dreams and reality do not have to be opposites; the key is to find a path that accommodates both. Good luck!" 0

With that, the old man stood up and left, leaving Nezha sitting on the bench, reflecting on their conversation. 0

The old man's suggestion indeed provided Nezha with a new perspective, but he still felt unsettled. He knew that once he stepped into that big company, it would be hard to pull away and pursue his dreams. The daily grind could wear down his passion and courage, and he might end up like that old man—waiting until retirement to reclaim his dreams, by which time it might be too late. 0

"No, I don't want to wait until then," Nezha muttered to himself. "I want to pursue my dreams bravely while I'm still young. Even if I fail, at least I will have tried and won't be left with regrets." 0

With this thought in mind, Nezha made up his mind to return home and explain his thoughts to his parents. He would respect his father's advice but would not blindly obey. This was his life, and he had the right to make his own choices. 0

By the time he got home, it was already noon. Lady Yin was in the kitchen preparing lunch, and upon seeing Nezha return, she hurriedly asked, "Where have you been? We were so worried!" 0

"Just out for a walk," Nezha replied softly. "Where's Dad? I need to talk to him." 0

"In the study," Lady Yin said, looking at her son with concern. "Just stay calm and don't make your father angry again." 0

Nezha nodded, took a deep breath, and walked toward the study. The door was slightly ajar, and he could hear the sound of papers being shuffled inside. He gently knocked on the door and pushed it open. 0

Li Jing was sitting at his desk, flipping through some old photo albums. Upon seeing Nezha enter, he quickly closed the album, his expression returning to its usual seriousness. 0

"Do you have something to say?" Li Jing's tone remained somewhat stiff. 0
