Nezha stopped his actions and suddenly turned to Ao Bing. "By the way, I have a question about the use of common areas." 0

Ao Bing looked up. "What question?" 0

"The agreement states, 'Personal items cannot be left in common areas for more than 24 hours,'" Nezha pointed to that clause. "But does my soccer goal count as a personal item? It's been on the balcony all this time." 0

Ao Bing frowned slightly. "Of course it counts. The balcony is a common area, and your soccer goal takes up a lot of space." 0

"But it doesn't cause any trouble!" Nezha protested. "Besides, your potted plants are on the balcony too. Why can't my soccer goal stay?" 0

"Potted plants are decorative and can purify the air," Ao Bing explained. "Moreover, they are neatly arranged and don't obstruct passage. Your soccer goal takes up most of the balcony, and I have to walk around it every time I hang out the laundry." 0

Nezha pouted. "I could move it to a corner, but you can't make me take it down! Setting that thing up was a hassle!" 0

Ao Bing thought for a moment. "Alright, the soccer goal can be an exception, but you need to secure it to one side of the balcony so it doesn't obstruct passage or laundry drying." 0

Nezha sighed in relief. "That's more like it." 0

However, just as one problem was resolved, another one arose. 0

"Wait," Nezha pointed to another clause in the agreement. "Regarding visitors, why does it say no visitors after six o'clock? What if there's an emergency?" 0

Ao Bing explained, "Evenings are for studying and resting; too many visitors can be disruptive. If there's an emergency, exceptions can certainly be made." 0

"Who decides what constitutes an emergency?" Nezha pressed on. "Last time my brother came to play games, you said it wasn't an emergency and wouldn't let him in." 0

"Playing games is definitely not an emergency," Ao Bing replied helplessly. "An emergency refers to matters related to academics, health, or safety." 0

"What about social activities?" Nezha continued to question. "Mental health is important too." 0

Ao Bing felt a headache coming on. "Alright, we can modify it to 'After six o'clock in the evening, if you need to invite a visitor, you must inform your roommate in advance and obtain consent.' Does that work?" 0

Nezha thought for a moment. "That’s acceptable." 0

Originally, they thought the Agreement could resolve all issues at once, but in reality, discussions about the details seemed endless. Each regulation could lead to new disagreements due to differing interpretations. 0

Finally, after rounds of revisions, the Agreement was finalized, and both parties signed it again. This time, looking at the document bearing their names, they both sighed with relief, yet a flicker of doubt crossed their minds: would this Agreement truly reduce friction between them? Or would it lead to more disputes and dissatisfaction? 0

Only time would tell. Regardless, for Nezha and Ao Bing, signing this Agreement marked a new phase in their cohabitation—one that required mutual effort, understanding, and respect. 0

Nezha glanced at his phone. "It's getting late; I need to prepare for the competition. Are you sure you'll come this afternoon?" 0

Ao Bing nodded. "I keep my word." 0

Nezha beamed with a bright smile. "That's great! After the competition, we can go out for dinner together—consider it fulfilling the 'do something together each week' clause in the Agreement!" 0

Ao Bing didn’t object; he simply nodded slightly. Watching Nezha excitedly pack up and leave, Ao Bing's gaze fell on the Agreement on the table, and he couldn't help but ponder: would this Agreement bring them peace or lead to more conflicts? 0
