"Follow me," said the Old Qilin, waving his hand. The Stone Jar rose into the air, and the Old Qilin held it up with one hand as he walked back. Seeing this, Mo Wen hurried to catch up.
"I will teach you the method of refining it now. Once refined, you will be able to control this Yin Yang Stone at will." Upon reaching the edge of the Lava Lake, the Old Qilin set down the Stone Jar and imparted the refining technique to Mo Wen.
"Refine it here, but do not make any noise," the Old Qilin instructed before disappearing.
Mo Wen did not start refining immediately; instead, he observed Xiao Hei in the center of the lake. Xiao Hei was still glowing and emanating flames, showing no signs of life-threatening danger. In fact, it seemed a bit stronger now, with spiritual energy fluctuations beginning to emerge. It was undergoing a transformation towards the Demon Beast level. Previously, he had been stunned by the sights in this cave, but now he noticed that its layout resembled some kind of Magic Circle. The platform in the center of the lake appeared to be the heart of this Magic Circle. It was no wonder that the Old Qilin had chosen to place his remains there and instructed him not to disturb anything in the cave; it was all part of preparing for Bloodline Inheritance. After confirming that Xiao Hei was fine, Mo Wen began to study the Yin Yang Stone Cauldron before him.

Seven days later, with a thought, Mo Wen commanded, "Collect!" The Stone Jar before him began to shrink and landed in his hand. The fatigue on Mo Wen's face vanished as he looked at the bowl-sized Stone Jar in his palm. The lava and ice water inside were still present; only the original curve had transformed into a straight line. After removing the Shuang Sheng Lian, the Yin Yang Fish pattern inside had disappeared, leaving behind a left black and right white design—not a result of refining.
The refining was highly successful. The technique imparted by the Old Qilin was quite unique; had Mo Wen relied on what he learned previously, he would not have been able to refine this Stone Jar without reaching Ning Shen Realm. The Old Qilin's refining technique was called Law Refinement Technique, which utilized the Law of Power for refinement. This technique was not found in any of the artifact crafting texts given by Old Lu, suggesting it was either created by the Old Qilin himself or derived from some ancient ruins.
After playing with the Stone Jar for a while, he tucked it into his belt. He thought about the Shuang Sheng Lian he had obtained earlier and wished he had a Spatial Artifact capable of holding living things. That way, he could place this Stone Jar inside and plant the Shuang Sheng Lian there; later on, he could also cultivate any rare herbs he might find within it. He quickly dismissed this thought; it was too unrealistic to expect to easily obtain a Spatial Artifact that could store living things—even Old Lu might not have one.
Observing Xiao Hei again, Mo Wen noted that its condition remained unchanged from seven days ago. He calmed himself and found a corner to eat some food before sitting down to meditate. After seven continuous days of refining the Yin Yang Stone Cauldron, Mo Wen felt exceptionally fatigued; what he needed most now was rest before continuing his cultivation.
He sat like this for over a month. During this time, Mo Wen woke up several times to craft some tools and confirmed that Xiao Hei was unharmed before resuming his cultivation.
One day, he felt that his Kung Fu training had reached a bottleneck; continuing would likely lead to instability in his foundation. Thus, he decided to stop practicing Kung Fu altogether and focus on comprehending Law instead. His Shen Su Jing had already reached great mastery—though there was still room for improvement—it was at a level of understanding where further practice would yield no meaningful results. With abundant Fire Spirit Power present here, it would be better to take this opportunity to deeply contemplate Law.
