Nezha stared at him in disbelief. "You... you actually know the school rules this well?" 0

Ao Bing shrugged noncommittally. "Knowledge is power. Understanding the rules helps protect your rights." 0

Nezha pouted. "Bookworm." 0

Instead of getting angry, Ao Bing looked at Nezha seriously. "Your skills are impressive. If you could control your temper a bit, you'd be even better." 0

Nezha was taken aback by the sudden compliment and didn't know how to respond. He awkwardly scratched his head. "Of course! I'm the star forward of the Magic City University Football Team!" 0

Ao Bing nodded. "I can see that. But a true star not only has exceptional personal skills but also needs to have good teamwork and self-control." 0

Nezha's face flushed again, but this time it wasn't from anger; it was a sense of shame. He knew Ao Bing was right, but he didn't want to admit it. 0

"Cut it out! I don't need you lecturing me!" Nezha said dismissively. "When I’m playing football, you probably don’t even know where you are!" 0

Ao Bing smiled faintly. "Maybe. But that doesn't mean I can't point out your issues." 0

Nezha was at a loss for words, glaring fiercely at Ao Bing. Strangely enough, he didn't feel as angry as before; instead, there was an indescribable feeling stirring within him. 0

The two fell into a brief silence, with only the rustling of leaves in the night breeze echoing across the field. 0

Finally, it was Ao Bing who broke the silence. "It's getting late; I should head back. Your ball damaged a corner of my book, so I need to fix it tomorrow." 0

Nezha finally noticed that the book in Ao Bing's hand indeed had a corner damaged, and he felt a pang of guilt. "Uh... I can buy you a new one," he offered. 0

Ao Bing shook his head. "No need. This is a book I cherish; even if I buy a new one, it can't replace this one." 0

Nezha felt even guiltier but tried to sound tough. "Who told you to read by the sidelines? You brought this on yourself." 0

Ao Bing glanced at him, his eyes filled with a mix of helplessness and an emotion Nezha couldn't quite understand. "I hope next time we meet, you'll learn to take responsibility for your actions." With that, he turned and walked away, his silhouette stretching into a long shadow under the lights. 0

Watching Ao Bing's retreating figure, Nezha felt an inexplicable sense of loss wash over him. He raised his arm to wipe the sweat from his forehead, suddenly realizing he still owed two laps to finish. 0

"Forget it, the coach won't know," Nezha muttered to himself, but after hesitating for a moment, he decided to complete the remaining two laps. 0

By the time he breathlessly finished his last lap, the entire field was empty. Nezha dragged his exhausted body toward the locker room, but the words of that boy named Ao Bing echoed in his mind. 0

"I hope next time we meet, you'll learn to take responsibility for your actions." 0

Nezha scoffed. "Next time we meet? Hmph, let's hope we never meet again, Ice Block Face!" 0

What he didn't realize was that the wheels of fate had already begun to turn, and his intersections with Ao Bing would be far more frequent than he imagined... 0

As Ao Bing walked back to his dormitory, he held the damaged book tightly in his hands. The night breeze brushed against his blue hair, bringing a slight chill. Yet his mind was racing with thoughts. 0

That red-haired boy, Li Nezha, the star forward of the Magic City University Football Team. Ao Bing had heard that name since his first day at the university. It was said that he possessed exceptional skills but had a sharp personality—known as the demon child on the field, striking fear into opponents while evoking mixed feelings of love and hate among teammates. 0

Today's encounter indeed confirmed the rumors. The young man was as described—rebellious and arrogant, with an air of superiority. Yet, he also possessed an indescribable charm, especially on the court; his confidence and flair drew people in effortlessly. 0

Ao Bing gently brushed his fingers over the damaged corner of the book, feeling a pang of regret. This was the only relic left to him by his father, an ancient text about the Dragon Clan Legend that chronicled his family's history. Now that it was damaged, his father would surely be displeased if he knew. 0

"Fortunately, the damage isn't too severe. I'll have the restoration expert at the library take a look tomorrow," Ao Bing murmured to himself. 0

He looked up at the stars in the night sky, inadvertently recalling Nezha's figure sprinting across the court. That kind of unrestrained vitality was something he had never experienced. Ao Bing had always lived under strict family rules, each step meticulously planned; he had never felt that sense of freedom. 0

"Li Nezha..." Ao Bing softly uttered the name, his brow slightly furrowing. "What a troublesome guy." 0

Yet for some reason, a faint smile tugged at the corners of Ao Bing's mouth, as if he found himself looking forward to this "trouble." 0
