I was driven to the brink of madness by their incessant chatter, yet I couldn't wake up no matter how hard I tried.
It wasn't until dawn that I jolted awake from the nightmare.
What was even more bizarre was that I found the Wedding Dress draped over my body!
At this revelation, I was utterly stunned.
The contents recorded in this diary were identical to my own experiences.
What on earth was happening?
Why was the person in the diary also having the same nightmare?
Why did he wake up every day to find the Wedding Dress on him as well?

I looked at Wang Zhan in confusion.
But he didn’t answer me; instead, he pointed to the diary, urging me to continue flipping through it.
I had no choice but to keep reading.
The contents of the diary made my heart race with increasing dread.
What was written in it matched my own experiences perfectly!
Moreover, the last page contained a line that read:
“Am I about to die?”
Upon seeing this, I felt a wave of panic wash over me.
Could it be that I would meet the same fate as the person in the diary?
Just as I was lost in thought, Wang Zhan suddenly spoke up.
“Miss Yang, don’t rush.”
“First, tell me what happened to the owner of this diary in the end.”
“Did he die?”
In response to my question, Wang Zhan shook his head. “I don’t know either.”
“You don’t know?” I was taken aback. “Isn’t this your diary?”
Wang Zhan explained, "I found this in a household."
"I originally intended to write a paper on Wedding Dresses for my Folklore Studies, so I went out to gather some materials."
"That’s when I stumbled upon this diary."
"After reading the entries in the diary, I felt something was off."
"That's why I contacted you, to ask what had happened."
Hearing this, my emotions were mixed.
It seemed we were both being targeted by that Wedding Dress.
What should we do?
Just as I was pondering, Wang Zhan suddenly said, "Miss Yang, how about you come back with me to Li Family Dam?"
"Ah? Why do we need to go to Li Family Dam?"
Wang Zhan explained, "During my research, I discovered that this Wedding Dress is intricately linked to Li Family Dam."
"Perhaps we can find a solution once we return."
"This..." I hesitated.
Although the Wedding Dress was indeed strange, I had no evidence to prove it was malevolent.
Moreover, my current residence was also near Li Family Dam. If I went back, wouldn’t that be walking into a trap?

"Miss Yang, don't worry."
"I am a graduate student in the Folklore Department and have extensive research in this area."
"If you are willing to come back with me, I promise I can help you solve this problem."
"Moreover, I can offer you a reward."
Hearing this, I felt a surge of temptation.
Rather than being tormented by this nightmare every day, it would be better to take a chance.
With that thought, I nodded. "Alright! I'll go back with you!"
"Great!" Wang Zhan smiled brightly. "There's no time to waste; let's set off now!"
"Now?" I was taken aback. "It's already dark; how about we go back tomorrow instead?"
Wang Zhan shook his head. "No way! We need to head back as soon as possible!"
