Qin Nianchu called Qin Nianzhe and said, "Xiu'er and I are on our way now, so you guys find a spot first!"
"Just you and Xiu'er? What about Yun Li?" Qin Nianzhe asked.
"Li Li went to Cafeteria One with a senior from the Classical Dance Department. What's wrong?"
Qin Nianzhe frowned and muttered, "Why are there so many seniors from the Classical Dance Department?"
Qin Nianchu shouted from the other end, "What? Qin Nianzhe, speak up!"
"Nothing, you two hurry up!"
"Got it, no need for you to remind us."
After hanging up, Qin Nianzhe sighed and said to Jiang Shiyu, "Sigh, I can't see Yun Li again. She went to Cafeteria One with some senior."
Jiang Shiyu, who was looking at his phone, responded, "Shen Huai?"
Qin Nianzhe shook his head. "It's a senior from the fourth year; it shouldn't be Shen Huai."
Jiang Shiyu put away his phone and said to him, "It seems we haven't tried the other cafeterias at Jing Wu."
Upon hearing this, Qin Nianzhe realized, "You're right! We always come to Cafeteria Three."
He then sent a message to Qin Nianchu saying he wanted to eat at Cafeteria One. He didn't call because he was afraid Qin Nianchu would yell at him. However, when Qin Nianchu saw the message, she cursed him under her breath.
Then she and Xiu'er turned and headed to Cafeteria One.
After ten minutes at Cafeteria One, the four of them met up inside. Qin Nianchu shot him a glare. "Here! The Cafeteria One you've been thinking about!"
As they entered, they noticed that Cafeteria One was quite crowded; everyone seemed to choose their cafeteria based on convenience.
As soon as they walked in, they spotted Yun Li standing with a tall, slender boy. The two were chatting animatedly, and Yun Li's eyes sparkled with warmth as she smiled gently. She held a tray in her hands while the boy beside her turned to talk to her. After he got his meal, he casually helped her by getting her food as well.
Yun Li didn’t say anything and naturally accepted it from him.
Seeing this scene, Jiang Shiyu's expression darkened; his previously carefree handsome face took on a sharper edge.
"Who is that guy?" Qin Nianzhe exclaimed in frustration. "His behavior is so frivolous!"
Chen Jin Xiu chuckled at his words. "Just because he helped carry a tray, he's considered frivolous?"
"Otherwise? Do you think they need to hug for it to count as frivolous?"
Qin Nianchu recalled something and said, "In the Dance Drama they collaborated on, there is indeed a hugging scene, but it's not frivolous! They need to build rapport; isn't that normal?"
"Can you stop making a fuss like a country dog?" Qin Nianzhe retorted.
Before Qin Nianchu could finish her sentence, Jiang Shiyu had already walked past. Qin Nianzhe stared at Jiang Shiyu's back and called out, "A Yu, what are you doing?"
Yun Li turned to chat with He Lin Cheng when a cold snort interrupted them. "What are you talking about? Let me listen too."
Yun Li froze; the familiar voice and tone sent chills down her spine.
Jiang Shiyu had his hands in his pockets, his Peach Blossom Eyes cast downward, shadowed by a hint of menace. His expression was somewhat frightening.
He Lin Cheng stopped smiling and looked at him seriously. "Do we know each other?"
Jiang Shiyu scoffed, "Of course we do. What do you think, Hao Hao?"
The mention of "Hao Hao" reminded Yun Li of that night.
Yun Li's breath hitched as she tried to steady her voice. "Senior He, let me introduce him. This is Jiang Shiyu from Jinghua Hangda."
As Qin Nianzhe and the others ran over, he shouted, "I'm also from Hangda!"
Qin Nianchu turned to He Lin Cheng with a hint of apology. "Senior He, they're our friends. If they've offended you in any way, please don't take it to heart."
He Lin Cheng had seen Qin Nianchu and Chen Jin Xiu before and knew they were Yun Li's roommates. He softened his expression and said, "It's nothing. Are you all here for a meal too?"
Qin Nianchu nodded. "What are you eating? It looks like Hao Hao is enjoying it."
"The Northeast Cuisine at Cafeteria One is pretty good; you should give it a try," He Lin Cheng suggested.
